I'M SUSANNA. THE GIRL BEHIND THE CAMERA. I'm a photographer based out of Boise, Idaho. I specialize in couples, lifestyle, weddings + everything raw, real and emotional. When i'm not photographing something you can find me exploring nature, hanging out at a concert or re-watching The Office (for the 100th time). I'm a lover of travel, animals, adventure, art, good food and making great memories. I've loved photography for as long as I can remember + I'm certain that capturing other people's stories + love is my passion and my calling.

I'm a firm believer that photos should be all about whats real. No posed stuff. No awkwardness. No lies. I want you to look back at your photos for years to come and remember laughing + loving the moment you were in. That being said, we're gonna get close. Sometimes too close. I will do everything in my power to get the best possible photos for you. even if that means standing awkwardly in a tree so I can capture the perfect angle of you + your babe. Where do I start? From the beginning Susanna made everything so easy for us! Our engagement photo location ended up being a flop (thanks to weather) but that didn’t stop Susanna from getting in the truck with us and driving over an hour to a different location! Our engagement photos and wedding photos turned out absolutely wonderful. I will NEVER use another photographer again! thanks again Susanna!

Susanna was the absolute best choice I made for my wedding. She went above and beyond- helped the day run smoothly and it turned out better than I could have ever imagined. She’s efficient, organized, has clear communication, punctual, professional, and SHE WAS SO MUCH FUN!! I honestly don’t have the words to describe how grateful I am to have had her apart of my big day and she was a main factor for why it was so special. My favorite moment of the day is when she pulled my husband and I aside during golden hour to frolic and goof off. It allowed us to take a second and enjoy eachother’s company and decompress a bit before the rest of the event. On top of that, she gave us a sneak peek so unbelievably fast and it allowed us to announce our marriage with the most gorgeous photo- like seriously unreal, I wish you guys could see it. If you don’t book Susanna for your wedding, you’re missing out BIG TIME.

Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful.

You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.

Sometimes, I’ll bring one or more assistant photographers depending on the size of your wedding. Don’t worry, this won’t cost you extra.

Typically, couples book me about 13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.

No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible. However I am always happy to help find a great Videographer or send over my recommendations!

My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 4-6 weeks after your wedding. However, you can also expect to receive a a sneak peek gallery with high-resolution image files within 3 days, so you can share the photos with your loved ones and order prints.

In my 5 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.

I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
