Hi! I’m Jules. I like to think of myself as an artistic storyteller. I love capturing LOVE and have been a professional photographer for 12+ years (don’t let the baby face fool you). I want to know what makes you & your partner tick. Every couple is different & I love making your photos feel like YOU. (& for you to feel super hot, obv.) I would love to share full galleries with you and would be HONORED to create art with you on your dreamiest day! Storytelling is why I do this day in and day out. We don’t do boring over here ;)
All photos you see on this page are from real weddings <3 I want you to see yourself looking badass but also ethereal. I want you to remember every good feeling and re-live your best day in slow motion. Wedding and elopement days go SO FAST. But freezing those moments in a cinematic way allows you to re-live your day over and over again. Every detail, every feeling. We’re gonna create movement, get a variety of emotion and vibes, and show who you are as a couple. I’ll give you prompts that will give you butterflies with your hunny. She was amazing!!
From the moment we booked Datura Photo for our wedding, their communication was prompt, professional, and incredibly helpful. The quality of their work was simply stunning - the photos they captured of our wedding ceremony and reception were nothing short of perfect. Datura Photo has an incredible eye for detail and managed to beautifully document all the special moments throughout our big day. We are thrilled with the results and would highly recommend them to any couple looking for a talented and reliable wedding photographer.

We are so so SO grateful we found Jules/Datura Photo to shoot our wedding. She did an incredible job capturing the emotions and the overall story of our day and we couldn’t be happier with ouyr wedding photos! We also utilized Jules for our videography and we are in love with our wedding video. You can really tell when you watch our video and look at our photos that we had a photographer who just loves love. She told our love story so beautifully. You can also tell that she knows so much about composition, lighting, etc. She does a great job with giving directions for where to stand and poses to do for those of us who know nothing about getting our picture taken. Not only is she an incredibly talented and gifted artist in her photography, but she is a total gem to work and spend the day with. She was also super communicative and professional throughout the entire process, went above and beyond and stayed late to get pics at our after party, and as an added bonus she was amazing with the kids in our wedding party and getting them to smile for the camera! We could literally go on and on about how amazing she was. We would highly recommend booking Datura Photo for any wedding, but especially if you want your photos to feel artsy, vintage, romantic, and emotional.

Jules and her husband were INCREDIBLE. They were there at every important moment capturing it all and did SO well with my little nephews who were not having a good time taking photos. So thankful for these two! Their editing style is dark and moody and PERFECT.
