This lush landscape serves to enhance a couple’s wedding theme and is complete with a refurbished courtyard and barn. The Brothers Ranch has multiple ceremony and reception areas to choose from, both inside and out. In addition, there is a bar, full kitchen, and designated dressing rooms, along with the sensory-indulging gardens. Up to 500 people can gather at this venue. Soon-to-be-weds can choose their own caterer to be approved by the ranch, allowing the pair to customize their day to their tastes and preferences. Parking is available, with overflow as well. We could not have chosen a better venue for our wedding! The ceremony lawn is absolutely gorgeous, and it was surreal to be married surrounded by lush flowers and towering bamboo. The reception space is beautiful and modern looking with beautiful lighting and an abundance of plants that make the area feel so warm and inviting. During the event and well after, our guests were gushing over how unique and picturesque our venue was! Our absolutely favorite part of the venue was working with Jonathan and Jessie! They are so down to earth, sweet and incredibly accommodating and felt like instant friends. If you are on the fence on hiring the Wedding Crashers, DO IT! They were a huge hit with our guests and now my husband and I are plotting ways to get some goats of our own! 10/10 Recommend having your wedding at The Brothers Ranch! You will have incredible pictures and beautiful memories that will last a lifetime!

This October, I worked with Elope in Monterey to have a small wedding with my immediate family in attendance. I feel so unbelievably lucky that Catherine was my photographer! I showed up to my wedding without ever meeting Catherine, but her warmth and friendliness made me feel comfortable immediately. As someone who is pretty shy in front of the camera (same goes for my partner), I was surprised by how comfortable I felt in front of Catherine's lens. She really let us be ourselves and joyfully captured all the silliness that makes us who we are. I also really appreciated her helpful directions and tips for posing, which she always delivered kindly. Catherine really made us feel like she was so happy to be there and for me, that really made my experience so pleasant and memorable! Even though our package only included 60 minutes of photography, she never made us feel rushed and she really went the extra mile to get us a large variety of shots and made sure we had many photos in various configurations of our group! My husband, Rob, and I have been married for a little over a month now and since then, we've reflected on everything from our Sonoma wedding -- all the parts we loved about, things we wish we could change, relatives we wished we didn't invite... but above all else, we are over the moon to have had the privilege of sharing our day with Maria. From our very first intro phone call, Maria was everything we were looking for in a photographer. She was friendly, direct, professional, and had an amazing sense of humor that made us feel comfortable immediately. She had wonderful way of sharing her ideas and thoughts without pushing a specific style or direction on to us that made us feel confident in our decisions. I recall during the conversation that she had been the only vendor to have asked Rob what he envisioned for our big day, what he wanted, how we met, and how he would describe our style. Though small, that really stood out to us and during the call, Rob and I looked at each other and with a collective 'yeah, let's do this' and booked her immediately. We never though an engagement session would be in the cards for us, but Maria took us out of our comfort zone and gave us a day in Point Reyes we will never forget. I look at our engagement photos basically on a weekly basis and think about how far Rob and I have come from that day, but to also remember what an awesome day that was getting to know Maria and feeling comfortable in front of her camera. If you're like me and feel like an engagement session is too extragravant or not a must-have, I urge you to reconsider. It was a wonderful opportunity to get to know Maria, feeling good with our poses, learning our angles (trying to, at least), and honestly, is a really fun thing to do together amongst all the planning. As our wedding was in Sonoma in October, there was threats of power outages (thankfully, we were all clear) and Maria had texted me a few days prior to share encouragement and let me know it was all going to be okay. I was so moved by that and it meant so much to have her looking out for us. On the day of our wedding, Maria was everything and we could not imagine that day without her there. She made us both calm and grounded amidst the chaos and nerves of the day, never losing sight at how big of a moment this was and made us, our families, and friends all feel so beautiful. This woman, though, does not stop. Shortly after our wedding, Sonoma was once again under the threat of more power outages (insert expletive about PG&E here). As Maria lives near the area, her family had to evacuate. Before I could even reach out, she let me know that the evacuation would not delay her process and had all of our photos everything backed on to a hard drive. I mean! I can't even. Our photos came out stunning, from our pre-ceremony shots, to dancing photos and everything in between. Our pre-ceremony portrait session was honestly such a highlight from the day and I am so glad she suggested doing a first look (seriously, DO IT!) because the lighting was magic and it was a blessing to have the time to do it all before the reception began. These photos are memories we will cherish forever and ones I can't wait to show our future family (I'm not normally this sappy, but this is seriously how talented Maria is). Since the wedding, Rob and I have loved every minute looking back on it all but more than once we've asked - Can we hang out with Maria again? Thank you for everything :)

Sydalyn Hill, and its owners, Gwyn and Jon, are simply amazing. The venue itself is gorgeous and hidden in plain site. It's just a little bit off of Highway 9, but it feels like you've arrived in heaven when you get there. At the same time it is, paradoxically, expansive and yet completely intimate. I've dj'd there on a couple of occasions, and both times it felt like there was magic in there air. I know this is full of superlatives, but I can't say enough good things about this place. Gwyn and Jon are delightful and highly professional. They make sure everything is in place and have a high attention to detail. Both are extremely nice and easy to work with. Anyone considering getting married in the Santa Cruz area owes it to themselves to have a look at this gem.

Many of our guests made comments to us about how much they enjoyed the food, and everyone (about 130 people) had as much to eat as they wanted with food left over. My only regret was that as the bride I didn't have the chance to eat as much of that AMAZING French toast as I wanted!

We hired Dina to be our wedding planner and it was the single best decision we made for our wedding. We called a few different vendors and Dina immediately stood out because she was the only one who was willing to actually give us a true consultation to ensure we were on the same page with what we wanted. She also didn't require us to pay her any money up front. In fact, she didn't request any money from us until maybe a month or two in? And even then, it was a minimal deposit. Point is, her vibe is that of someone who understands the stress of wedding planning for the bride and groom so she makes you feel like she wants to earn your trust and do everything right before she asks for your business. Leading up to the wedding, friends and family would ask us if we were stressed or ask us how the wedding planning was going. Our answer would always be, "you know what... we don't have anything to do lol." And that was the truth. Dina made the entire process come together so seamlessly for us, during a pandemic no less, when so many vendors were backed up. When we saw the venue in it's final form for the first time, our jaws dropped. Even to this day we love recalling comments from guests on how beautiful the venue was. During the actual wedding, she stayed the WHOLE night for us and even brought an assistant. Leading up to the wedding we were not expecting that! She helped to orchestrate the whole night between guest seating and working with restaurant staff. Simply put, Dina's communication was on point. Her work ethic blew us away. The way she found and discussed vendors with us made us completely trust her with the process of pulling our vision together. Her fees were criminal to the point we had to tip her almost 500 more just so we didn't feel like we were robbing her of her time and effort. We've already jumped at the opportunity to recommend her to friends/family that are embarking on their wedding planning journeys. I don't write many reviews, but had to for Dina. She will always have a special place in our memories and lives because she played such a huge role on our special day.

We got married at Chaminade in November 2023 and highly recommend the venue. We discovered the resort when happened to take my mom there for dinner to celebrate her birthday. Every member of the staff was kind and helpful. In fact, Christopher was able to give us an impromptu tour of the hotel rooms, banquet halls, and ceremony locations. Once we signed our contract, Rebecca and Lizzie helped plan the catering and day-of details which included the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception dinner. I felt very comfortable going into the wedding day and knew everything would be handled smoothly by the Chaminade team. I can't emphasize enough how kind and helpful every member of the team was throughout the event. We had so many guests comment that the food was outstanding - even months after the wedding! Sadly, my appetite was thrown off from the excitement of the day but the catering team offered me ginger ale and toast throughout the night. The venues were set up beautifully and we appreciated all that went into creating the settings for the ceremony, bar, and reception areas. Chaminade made our wedding day unforgettable and I am so thankful to the team for bringing all the details together!

The Hollins House is truly a dream come true. The venue itself is stunning— you don’t need to do much to make it the perfect setting for a wedding. Giselle and Bella, the event coordinators, were incredible. From our in-person meetings to email correspondence, they were always helpful, attentive, and on top of every detail. On the big day, I didn’t have to worry about a thing because I knew they had it all handled. The food was absolutely delicious and all our guests couldn’t stop raving about it! The chicken and waffle appetizer during the cocktail hour was a huge hit and the ham benedict was equally loved by everyone. Everything was simply beautiful, and I couldn’t have imagined a better wedding experience. I got married here recently and it was beautiful! It is very convenient having rooms on site to accomodate so many guests. You have to cater through the venue but their food is amazing. They use their own grass fed meats and were great about what food and drinks we wanted. While the venue does come with a few things like tables and chairs, you do have to pay to rent other items from them and a lot of the decoration will be DIY, but this can be a good thing if you want to personalize a lot of things! Owners are not too strict about things and are flexible. This can go both ways though - sometimes the planning was a bit difficult due to lack of communication with the venue. It would take a while to get answers, or they would forget some things I told them. Definitely recommend getting a day of planner to help since this is a large venue with lots of DIY and family around usually. Other than that though, everything turned out beautiful and guests were very happy with the views and rooms. They are reasonably priced and we were able to stay up late too! Perfect day :)

As a wedding planner, we see the behind-the-scenes operations of many different venues. I can confidently say The Club at Pasadera provides the best quality customer service and food service in the area. They are consistent with every event and we have done over 100 events at their location over the past 8 years. The back of the house staff has remained the same because they are all one happy family and it shows in the service they provide every one of our clients. Besides that the venue is stunning and will leave your guests feeling like they have been transported to another country. Another huge plus is their indoor spaces in case there is rain in the forecast and you do not want to pay an extra 20k for a tent last minute like you often have to do at other locations in the area. We LOVE The Club at Pasdera and highly recommend them to any couple looking to get married there.

The Seymour Center was absolutely perfect! The ocean view from the bluffs was an amazing backdrop to our ceremony and the exhibit hall was such a unique space for the reception. All of our guests raved about how amazing our venue was and the touch pool was a big hit with the kids. It was also meaningful to us that our money goes to fund marine outreach and education. My husband and I got married at Holly Farm in June 2024. We found the venue in October which gave us about 9 months to plan our wedding. Holly Farm made it relatively simple to piece together all the vendors due to their incredible and long lasting relationships. And while wedding planning is still stressful, what I didn't expect and was so very grateful for was feeling like I could hand everything over to them upon arrival for the wedding weekend and really feel like everything was in good hands (I did not have a wedding planner). I knew the venue was going to be beautiful but I did not expect to feel so at ease the entire weekend. I had the BEST time at my own wedding because the Holly Farm staff went above and beyond to take care of everything we could possibly need on our behalf. There was nothing they couldn't assist with. It was the most perfect weekend, and I could not recommend this venue more!

The Village, Big Sur was an absolute dream to work with, creating our "Night Before" celebration. I could not be happier with our evening and dinner! The staff was amazing both planning and executing our event which was held on the lawn and in "the barn", a truly gorgeous, serene setting. Attention to detail was evident, personal and thoughtful. The evening began with a "welcome" signature cocktail, champagne, and a beautiful canape' station. Dinner followed with a land and sea inspired menu. Absolute perfection!
