Andrina and her team at Confetti and Cocktails are the greatest wedding planners ever ever ever. We wanted an intimate wedding and I was worried that a planner would not be as invested as they would for a larger wedding - that could not have father from the truth. From the initial call, all the way through the wedding day and beyond, she has been our designer, therapist, and dream maker. Her professionalism, quick response times to my million questions, and advice on all things wedding related were so helpful during the planning process. She knows the best venues and has great relationships with vendors near and far. The design creation was so fun. She sent a personalized mood board of things we had discussed on the phone and I got to go through and choose the ideas that spoke to me. Then we got to meet at the showroom and put all the pieces together. The day of, Andrina came prepared with EVERYTHING you could possibly ever need. She managed all the vendors and helped everyone stick to the timeline. All I had to do the day of was enjoy getting married. Everything went so smoothly and the day was exactly what we had hoped and planned for. I literally cannot put into words just how wonderful of a person Andrina is and how talented she is. You can tell it is not just her job, but also her passion. If you are looking for a planner, I recommend her a million times over.

Spread over 25 acres of gardens, The Brothers Ranch features palms, tropical flowers, and bamboo that helps transport couples and their guests to another place. This lush landscape serves to enhance a couple’s wedding theme and is complete with a refurbished courtyard and barn. The Brothers Ranch has multiple ceremony and reception areas to choose from, both inside and out. In addition, there is a bar, full kitchen, and designated dressing rooms, along with the sensory-indulging gardens. Up to 500 people can gather at this venue. Soon-to-be-weds can choose their own caterer to be approved by the ranch, allowing the pair to customize their day to their tastes and preferences. Parking is available, with overflow as well. There is only one event planned per day, and the couple has the day before and after the event for setting and cleaning up. Seriously the hottest up-and-coming venue in the entire Monterey Bay area - where the beautiful and unique grounds are only the surface! Every aspect of the venue has been carefully thought out to accommodate the wedding party, guests, and vendors perfectly. The tropical foliage of the ceremony lawn offered a stunning backdrop for our vows (plus the sweet scent that wafts from nearby strawberry fields). The reception area was the perfect size and layout for our guests to eat, drink, play games, and dance throughout the night - cozy but spacious at the same time. Brothers Ranch was so beautiful and so well designed that we really didn’t need many of our own decorations. Also a huge plus for us was having access to the space for the entire weekend (Friday-Sunday) so we had plenty of time for setup and we didn’t have to worry about cleanup at the end of our wedding night! But the true heart of this venue is Jessie and Jonathan Brothers. More gracious hosts than venue owners, they helped us every step of the way to have an amazing and stress-free wedding. They both went above and beyond running around the whole weekend handling all of the little details to provide a seamless experience for us and our guests, from giving golf cart rides between the reception and ceremony spaces to rolling out heaters after sundown. So a big thank you to Jessie and Jonathan and definitely book Brother Ranch - the best venue in all of Monterey Bay for an amazing, beautiful, stress-free, and super fun wedding!

Carmel Fields was the perfect wedding venue! The venue itself is beautiful, newly remodeled with a beautiful nature preserve for photos. The planning staff was incredibly responsive, accommodated all of our additional asks and requests, and helped consolidate all the planning into one place. Our day could not have been better. I would absolutely recommend this venue for couples who want to streamline the planning process but not compromise on quality.

We were so impressed with our engagement session the first time we met that I then asked her to do a mini shoot for my 30th birthday! For all three occasions Dana provided beautiful, timeless, classic photos in a timely manner! She is so fun and makes you feel comfortable and at ease. Dana was also patient and kind--with COVID we had to postpone our wedding and plans changed, she was willing to work with us through it all and provide us peace of mind. This October, I worked with Elope in Monterey to have a small wedding with my immediate family in attendance. I feel so unbelievably lucky that Catherine was my photographer! I showed up to my wedding without ever meeting Catherine, but her warmth and friendliness made me feel comfortable immediately. As someone who is pretty shy in front of the camera (same goes for my partner), I was surprised by how comfortable I felt in front of Catherine's lens. She really let us be ourselves and joyfully captured all the silliness that makes us who we are. I also really appreciated her helpful directions and tips for posing, which she always delivered kindly. Catherine really made us feel like she was so happy to be there and for me, that really made my experience so pleasant and memorable! Even though our package only included 60 minutes of photography, she never made us feel rushed and she really went the extra mile to get us a large variety of shots and made sure we had many photos in various configurations of our group! I've received our photos, and they are stunning! I cannot thank Catherine enough for capturing the joy of our special day!

Their communication throughout the planning process was consistently clear and informative, ensuring we were fully prepared for the big day. The catering team worked efficiently to serve all our guests delicious food and drinks. The pricing was very reasonable for the quality of food and service. The buffet line flowed smoothly to get everyone fed in a timely manner. The servers made sure drinks were poured and glasses stayed full during dinner and dancing. The food received so many compliments from our guests - from the cocktail hour hors d'oeuvres to the late night snack. Five Star Catering's excellent service and delicious food added so much to our special day. We would highly recommend them to any couple planning a wedding!

Sydalyn Hill, and its owners, Gwyn and Jon, are simply amazing. The venue itself is gorgeous and hidden in plain site. It's just a little bit off of Highway 9, but it feels like you've arrived in heaven when you get there. At the same time it is, paradoxically, expansive and yet completely intimate. I've dj'd there on a couple of occasions, and both times it felt like there was magic in there air. I know this is full of superlatives, but I can't say enough good things about this place. Gwyn and Jon are delightful and highly professional. They make sure everything is in place and have a high attention to detail. Both are extremely nice and easy to work with. Anyone considering getting married in the Santa Cruz area owes it to themselves to have a look at this gem.

We hired Dina to be our wedding planner and it was the single best decision we made for our wedding. We called a few different vendors and Dina immediately stood out because she was the only one who was willing to actually give us a true consultation to ensure we were on the same page with what we wanted. She also didn't require us to pay her any money up front. In fact, she didn't request any money from us until maybe a month or two in? And even then, it was a minimal deposit. Point is, her vibe is that of someone who understands the stress of wedding planning for the bride and groom so she makes you feel like she wants to earn your trust and do everything right before she asks for your business. Leading up to the wedding, friends and family would ask us if we were stressed or ask us how the wedding planning was going. Our answer would always be, "you know what... we don't have anything to do lol." And that was the truth. Dina made the entire process come together so seamlessly for us, during a pandemic no less, when so many vendors were backed up. When we saw the venue in it's final form for the first time, our jaws dropped. Even to this day we love recalling comments from guests on how beautiful the venue was. During the actual wedding, she stayed the WHOLE night for us and even brought an assistant. Leading up to the wedding we were not expecting that! She helped to orchestrate the whole night between guest seating and working with restaurant staff. Simply put, Dina's communication was on point. Her work ethic blew us away. The way she found and discussed vendors with us made us completely trust her with the process of pulling our vision together. Her fees were criminal to the point we had to tip her almost 500 more just so we didn't feel like we were robbing her of her time and effort. We've already jumped at the opportunity to recommend her to friends/family that are embarking on their wedding planning journeys. I don't write many reviews, but had to for Dina. She will always have a special place in our memories and lives because she played such a huge role on our special day.

The Hollins House is truly a dream come true. The venue itself is stunning— you don’t need to do much to make it the perfect setting for a wedding. Giselle and Bella, the event coordinators, were incredible. From our in-person meetings to email correspondence, they were always helpful, attentive, and on top of every detail. On the big day, I didn’t have to worry about a thing because I knew they had it all handled. The food was absolutely delicious and all our guests couldn’t stop raving about it! The chicken and waffle appetizer during the cocktail hour was a huge hit and the ham benedict was equally loved by everyone. Everything was simply beautiful, and I couldn’t have imagined a better wedding experience. As a wedding planner, we see the behind-the-scenes operations of many different venues. I can confidently say The Club at Pasadera provides the best quality customer service and food service in the area. They are consistent with every event and we have done over 100 events at their location over the past 8 years. The back of the house staff has remained the same because they are all one happy family and it shows in the service they provide every one of our clients. Besides that the venue is stunning and will leave your guests feeling like they have been transported to another country. Another huge plus is their indoor spaces in case there is rain in the forecast and you do not want to pay an extra 20k for a tent last minute like you often have to do at other locations in the area. We LOVE The Club at Pasdera and highly recommend them to any couple looking to get married there.

Karlie was very easy to work with. We met with her and then based on our conversation she sketched out ~6 different design ideas and also shared some example photos of different design aspects. The final cake looked exactly like what we had in mind. I remember during the wedding telling my husband that I was surprised they ended up using real flowers instead of sugar flowers. We didn't realize until the next day that they were actually sugar! They looked incredibly realistic and matched the floral decor perfectly. Also - the cake itself was delicious. We had plans to freeze some of it and eat it on our first anniversary, but ended up eating it all. Oops. We received numerous compliments from our guests. Thank you Story Cake Studio!

I got married here recently and it was beautiful! It is very convenient having rooms on site to accomodate so many guests. You have to cater through the venue but their food is amazing. They use their own grass fed meats and were great about what food and drinks we wanted. While the venue does come with a few things like tables and chairs, you do have to pay to rent other items from them and a lot of the decoration will be DIY, but this can be a good thing if you want to personalize a lot of things! Owners are not too strict about things and are flexible. This can go both ways though - sometimes the planning was a bit difficult due to lack of communication with the venue. It would take a while to get answers, or they would forget some things I told them. Definitely recommend getting a day of planner to help since this is a large venue with lots of DIY and family around usually. Other than that though, everything turned out beautiful and guests were very happy with the views and rooms. They are reasonably priced and we were able to stay up late too! Perfect day :)

The best way to describe my work is a mix of National Geographic and GQ/Vogue. Have you ever seen the movie Talladega Nights with Will Ferrell? There is a scene where he awkwardly holds his hands in front of the camera. Yea, that is pretty much all of us. My husband and I got married at Holly Farm in June 2024. We found the venue in October which gave us about 9 months to plan our wedding. Holly Farm made it relatively simple to piece together all the vendors due to their incredible and long lasting relationships. And while wedding planning is still stressful, what I didn't expect and was so very grateful for was feeling like I could hand everything over to them upon arrival for the wedding weekend and really feel like everything was in good hands (I did not have a wedding planner). I knew the venue was going to be beautiful but I did not expect to feel so at ease the entire weekend. I had the BEST time at my own wedding because the Holly Farm staff went above and beyond to take care of everything we could possibly need on our behalf. There was nothing they couldn't assist with. It was the most perfect weekend, and I could not recommend this venue more!

Holman ranch is truly the most gorgeous venue. The ceremony space is unbelievable and having the dinner in the rose garden was so magical and felt very intimate. Every corner of the property is absolutely gorgeous and being able to stay on the property for the weekend made all the difference in our experience. Our family and wedding party were able to stay with us for the entire weekend and it made it all the more special. Kerolos and Victoria are so amazing and fabulous to work with. They work so hard to make sure the weekend and day are perfect and they are so on top of everything. They’re super flexible with making changes to fit your vision and they think of every little detail. I highly recommended looking at Holman ranch for your wedding event!
