Everything we wanted, and then some!

My husband and I got married here July 2024! We had been trying to find a venue that could not only accommodate the amount of people we wanted to invite, but could also somehow mix my husband’s desire for a beach wedding with my vision of a whimsical garden wedding, all while letting us party later than 10pm! When we found Wedgewood Carmel Fields, we were absolutely blown away!! They were able to check off all of our boxes and more, and made the planning process so easy! They had great communication every step of the way, and it made the stressful moments not feel so stressful. From our point of view, the venues were gorgeous, they were super accommodating to what we wanted/needed, the food was tasty (and they were super accommodating when discussing different food restrictions/allergies), and we have absolutely no complaints! I could write paragraphs about how awesome Carmel Fields is! Our day-of coordinator, Alycia was an absolute superhero! She made sure everything ran smoothly, and if something was not going according to plan…yes it was! We have had several guests tell us how awesome she was, and we wholeheartedly agree! We don’t know what we would have done without her! We also worked with Aloha during the evening portion, and she was so sweet and so helpful too! We could not have asked for a better venue!
A Beautiful Venue and an Amazing Team!

We had our wedding at Carmel Fields in December, and it was a beautiful day. At first, I had some hesitations about choosing Wedgewood because all inclusive sounds like it could be a bit cookie cutter, but I’m so glad we went with them. They allowed us to personalize so many elements, and their staff made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. The Planning & Staff: We absolutely loved working with Alycia during the planning process leading up to the wedding. The whole team is so organized, responsive, and easy to work with. Every time I would email them with a question the answer was prompt and usually "Yes!". It made me feel so reassured and supported throughout. Despite a last-minute change to our day-of coordinator, the new coordinator we were paired with, Anahi, was fantastic and handled everything so well—so professional, sweet, and calming. She made everything run smoothly despite a timeline hiccup. Luis, our banquet manager, took over during the reception and I truly appreciated how attentive and organized he was. Flexibility & Customization: Wedgewood provided the structure of an all-inclusive venue, but they also allowed us the flexibility to bring in our own touches and vendors. I worked with their florist for the larger pieces (like our split ceremony arch and upgraded centerpieces) while also bringing in my own DIY florals for things like bridesmaid bouquets and bud vases. They were accommodating when it came to letting us customize certain elements, like our bar setup and décor, which helped us make the space feel like “us.” The Food: The appetizers during cocktail hour were a hit—guests really raved about them! I didn’t get as much feedback about the main plated meal, but our vendors mentioned they loved it. Personally, I didn’t get to eat much (even though I swore I’d be a bride who did!), and I felt the food was about what I expected for a wedding. Value for the Price: Carmel is a very high-cost area, and I feel like we got a great deal for what we paid. The venue is absolutely stunning, the weather was perfectly sunny for December. We did the elite package and got upgraded chairs, top shelf liquor, a plated meal - Wedgewood's packages allowed us to have a beautiful, elevated wedding without breaking the bank. Final Thoughts: The team we worked with went above and beyond to ensure everything came together flawlessly. If you’re looking for a venue that simplifies the planning process while still allowing room for personal touches, I highly recommend!

Where do I even begin? The coordinator was absolutely incredible! From start to finish, they managed every detail flawlessly and never missed a beat. Their professionalism, organization, and calm demeanor under pressure were exceptional. Truly, they deserve recognition for their outstanding work! The wedding would not have been as beautiful and seamless without their expertise. They ensured every detail was perfect, timelines were followed, and any potential issues were handled effortlessly. They brought the vision for the day to life in a way that exceeded all expectations. Not only did they keep everything running smoothly, but they also made us feel completely at ease throughout the entire process. From coordinating with vendors to keeping everyone on schedule and checking in to make sure we were happy and stress-free, they went above and beyond in every possible way. We are so grateful for their dedication, expertise, and genuine care in making the day unforgettable. Highly recommend their services! Additionally, a special shoutout to the team member who handled everything so gracefully at the end of the night – their patience and professionalism with guests were greatly appreciated. Carmel Fields was the perfect wedding venue! The venue itself is beautiful, newly remodeled with a beautiful nature preserve for photos. The planning staff was incredibly responsive, accommodated all of our additional asks and requests, and helped consolidate all the planning into one place. Our day could not have been better. I would absolutely recommend this venue for couples who want to streamline the planning process but not compromise on quality.
