Spread over 25 acres of gardens, The Brothers Ranch features palms, tropical flowers, and bamboo that helps transport couples and their guests to another place. This lush landscape serves to enhance a couple’s wedding theme and is complete with a refurbished courtyard and barn. The Brothers Ranch has multiple ceremony and reception areas to choose from, both inside and out. In addition, there is a bar, full kitchen, and designated dressing rooms, along with the sensory-indulging gardens. Up to 500 people can gather at this venue. Soon-to-be-weds can choose their own caterer to be approved by the ranch, allowing the pair to customize their day to their tastes and preferences. Parking is available, with overflow as well. There is only one event planned per day, and the couple has the day before and after the event for setting and cleaning up. The staff is eager to help couples achieve the wedding day they have always wanted!

We could not have chosen a better venue for our wedding! The ceremony lawn is absolutely gorgeous, and it was surreal to be married surrounded by lush flowers and towering bamboo. The reception space is beautiful and modern looking with beautiful lighting and an abundance of plants that make the area feel so warm and inviting. During the event and well after, our guests were gushing over how unique and picturesque our venue was! Our absolutely favorite part of the venue was working with Jonathan and Jessie! They are so down to earth, sweet and incredibly accommodating and felt like instant friends. If you are on the fence on hiring the Wedding Crashers, DO IT! They were a huge hit with our guests and now my husband and I are plotting ways to get some goats of our own! 10/10 Recommend having your wedding at The Brothers Ranch! You will have incredible pictures and beautiful memories that will last a lifetime!

I'm a fine art wedding photographer and I've worked with Autumn both as a photographer and as a bride for my own wedding. As a photographer: Her attention to detail and design aesthetic is amazing. The way she arranges the textures and colors in her floral installations are always so thoughtfully placed and it photographs beautifully. It's the little details like the dip in the left side of the arch where the bride is standing that frames the couple perfectly due to their height difference. Particularly Autumn's ability to use bold colors in elegant designs is inspiring as a photographer. I love photographing her designs. As a bride: When it was time to plan my own wedding, even before I started, I knew Autumn would be doing my florals. Weddings are live events, with a lot of moving parts, selecting a team you can trust is so important. It allows you to truly enjoy the day. Due to Covid, I had to change my plans drastically in a short amount of time. I knew I could trust Autumn's talent because I had worked with her as a photographer before, what I didn't know was the level of care she provides her couples. During a stressful time, she made me feel at ease, even though as a wedding professional I knew how stressful a short turn around time could be for her. She cared about my experience as a bride. She listened to my design ideas and elevated them, taught me tips and tricks and created beautiful pieces. Her gold floral bracelets were a hit! ( a modern take on corsages) The floral designs were elegant and so tastefully crafted. We have worked with The Camp Carmel Valley for years and this location is a wonderful venue for a wedding or corporate event. They are responsive to guests needs, easy to work with and such a serene place to be for a weekend. As a vendor, we love the versatility of the space for outdoor cooking displays or use of their kitchen. We have catered for large groups for all meals on their weekends and it has always been a great experience. 10/10 recommend!

Nadeen's artistic eye, natural talent and knowledge of photography created the most magical wedding and engagement photos we ever could have asked for, completely exceeding our expectations! We worked with Nadeen for about 8 months in 2023 leading up to our September wedding in Big Sur, CA. She was kind enough to meet us in person 7 months before the wedding for engagement photos (even on a rainy/windy day in Big Sur!) which helped us get to know her and become more comfortable with what to expect for being photographed on the actual wedding day. Nadeen did a great job guiding us on how to look natural for our photos and made us feel super comfortable being photographed. On our wedding day, Nadeen was there every step of the way and captured our day beautifully. It was a pleasure to have her there and she did a great job of keeping us on track, making sure we captured all photos we wanted, and even took us on an extra special excursion to a separate location for sunset photos. From the wedding shots, to the priceless candids, stunning detail shots, and variety of natural light, flash, black and white photos, every single image was taken with thought and love and turned out beautifully. We got married at Sydalyn Hill in late June 2022. Our wedding and everything leading up to it was everything we could have hoped for and more. Gwyn was extremely organized and professional, providing helpful maps, templates, and timelines for our planning process and always willing to offer input/advice when needed. Her husband and two amazing daughters were also so welcoming, knowledgeable, and helpful, and play a huge role in making Sydalyn Hill the special place that it is. The venue itself was absolutely our dream venue, with so much natural beauty that in our opinion you hardly need to worry about decor! As eco-conscious minimalists, we really appreciate the lengths that Gwyn and her family go through to reduce waste and avoid plastic, and we opted to use many of the decoration items owned by Sydalyn Hill instead of buying our own for the sake of the environment (and our wallets!). The result was the most rustic and magical wedding we could ever have imagined. Our guests were blown away by the beautiful spots around the grounds for photos like the garden, swing, and orchard, all the fun lawn games, and dancing/dining under the walnut tree chandeliers! We can't recommend Sydalyn Hill highly enough. Thank you so much to the entire Weisberg family for making our dream wedding come true!

We hired Dina to be our wedding planner and it was the single best decision we made for our wedding. We called a few different vendors and Dina immediately stood out because she was the only one who was willing to actually give us a true consultation to ensure we were on the same page with what we wanted. She also didn't require us to pay her any money up front. In fact, she didn't request any money from us until maybe a month or two in? And even then, it was a minimal deposit. Point is, her vibe is that of someone who understands the stress of wedding planning for the bride and groom so she makes you feel like she wants to earn your trust and do everything right before she asks for your business. Leading up to the wedding, friends and family would ask us if we were stressed or ask us how the wedding planning was going. Our answer would always be, "you know what... we don't have anything to do lol." And that was the truth. Dina made the entire process come together so seamlessly for us, during a pandemic no less, when so many vendors were backed up. When we saw the venue in it's final form for the first time, our jaws dropped. Even to this day we love recalling comments from guests on how beautiful the venue was. During the actual wedding, she stayed the WHOLE night for us and even brought an assistant. Leading up to the wedding we were not expecting that! She helped to orchestrate the whole night between guest seating and working with restaurant staff. Simply put, Dina's communication was on point. Her work ethic blew us away. The way she found and discussed vendors with us made us completely trust her with the process of pulling our vision together. Her fees were criminal to the point we had to tip her almost 500 more just so we didn't feel like we were robbing her of her time and effort. We've already jumped at the opportunity to recommend her to friends/family that are embarking on their wedding planning journeys. I don't write many reviews, but had to for Dina. She will always have a special place in our memories and lives because she played such a huge role on our special day.

We knew we were in good hands when Flora asked us personal questions about our relationship through a special questionnaire to get to know us even better. She even wanted to know our favorite music choices so that she could help curate a playlist for the day. Music is an important aspect of our relationship, so it meant even more to us that she valued the importance of creating the perfect atmosphere for the day. Planning an elopement can be a bit nerve-wracking, especially when it comes to entrusting someone to capture the once in a lifetime moments. However, any worries we had quickly dissipated as Flora demonstrated her expertise and attention to detail throughout the process. She provided valuable guidance, ensuring that every aspect of the shoot, from lighting to composition, would be flawless. Her experience with elopements was clearly evident and immensely appreciated! Flora walked us through each step of the way, yet allowed us plenty of space and time to create our own intimate and private memories. From the forests of Oak Glen to the cliff sides of Soberanes, we shared intimate moments that will forever be treasured. What truly sets Flora apart is her ability to make couples feel genuinely unique and special. She went above and beyond to create an atmosphere that allowed our love and personalities to shine through, despite any feelings of awkwardness or discomfort. Flora’s talent lies not only in capturing beautiful photographs but also in cultivating an environment where we felt comfortable being ourselves. Any feelings of insecurities were quickly dissolved. We still don’t know how she managed to do it, but she somehow made us beginners look like we were seasoned models, as if we had done photoshoots many times prior. Her genuine enthusiasm and passion for her craft were infectious, allowing us to relax and enjoy every moment of the shoot. She was able to draw out the most intimate moments of our embraces and capture them so effortlessly. When we received the photos from Flora, with expediency, we were absolutely blown away. Each image beautifully encapsulated the essence of our elopement, from the tender moments shared between us to the breathtaking vistas of Big Sur. Flora’s keen eye for detail and her ability to capture the raw emotions that unfolded during the day were truly remarkable. It was as if she had transformed our love story into a visual masterpiece. Many of those who have seen our photos have made comments about them looking as if they came straight out of the cover of a romance novel. There are no words to describe just how we felt reminiscing our elopement. Tears of gratitude, joy, and love have often been shed looking back on that November day. Thank you, Flora, for immortalizing our love story. You are a true artist, and we are eternally grateful for the memories that we will forever embrace!

Heather was lovely to work with. She had tons of ideas which made things way easier for me and less to worry about! She shot our engagement pictures on the east coast & our destination wedding in Spain. For the engagement shoot, it started to rain and turned for the worse! I figured the day was over and that was it, but Heather got creative, pulled out a fun umbrella and we had a great time!! The pictures are super fun and amazing to look back on now that we are married. The wedding pictures were just as fun-- Weddings are known to be high-stress but Heather was on top of things made life so much easier. She knew which pictures to take and when I would forget about certain group combinations with our families she would remember and get the shots! Not to mention she is just a super nice person so I felt comfortable making requests or asking for certain things. I also love the edits she did and really made the images stand out. Our family and wedding party were able to stay with us for the entire weekend and it made it all the more special. Kerolos and Victoria are so amazing and fabulous to work with. They work so hard to make sure the weekend and day are perfect and they are so on top of everything. They’re super flexible with making changes to fit your vision and they think of every little detail. I highly recommended looking at Holman ranch for your wedding event!

We got married at Chaminade in November 2023 and highly recommend the venue. We discovered the resort when happened to take my mom there for dinner to celebrate her birthday. Every member of the staff was kind and helpful. In fact, Christopher was able to give us an impromptu tour of the hotel rooms, banquet halls, and ceremony locations. Once we signed our contract, Rebecca and Lizzie helped plan the catering and day-of details which included the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception dinner. I felt very comfortable going into the wedding day and knew everything would be handled smoothly by the Chaminade team. I can't emphasize enough how kind and helpful every member of the team was throughout the event. We had so many guests comment that the food was outstanding - even months after the wedding! Sadly, my appetite was thrown off from the excitement of the day but the catering team offered me ginger ale and toast throughout the night. The venues were set up beautifully and we appreciated all that went into creating the settings for the ceremony, bar, and reception areas. Chaminade made our wedding day unforgettable and I am so thankful to the team for bringing all the details together!

We worked with DJ JaronB for our October 2023 wedding ceremony and reception. He was great! There was a thorough planning document provided which helped us break down the music we wanted to hear into sections of the day. We had a beach ceremony and the equipment that was set up for the ceremony was loud enough for us hear the music and what people were saying on the mic even tho the ocean was really loud. Mark and his team were wonderful from the start. He was always prompt to respond, kind, and quickly provided any updates to the menu/guest count/linen color change/ etc. We felt so comfortable working with Chef Mark right from the start and that was even more confirmed when we were able to finally meet him on our special day. Mark was adaptable to our decision to move where we were hosting dinner with such a supportive response "It is your day, we are serving dinner where you would like to" with no complaint at all. He arrived a few minutes early to make sure he and his team knew the venue layout and quickly got to work! He was personable making many guests laugh and smile (and even gave them sneak peak tastes into dinner and dessert!). Chef Mark also came down while we were eating to make sure that all guests were satisfied and boy were their smiles on everyones faces! We started with an array of appetizers from olive tapenade to turkey meatballs (my fav!) to ceviche. Our dinner was delicious- chicken, salmon, rice, asparagus, salad, and for dessert, chocolate cake and cheesecake (we ate it all!). All of the food was so good that we were getting texts the next day about all the specifics to our menu from our guests. I would HIGHLY recommend booking with Chef Mark if you want comfortable, reliable, and good vibes on your wedding day!

Less than two hours south of San Francisco lies the most magical getaway along the Santa Cruz coastline. I first came upon this impossibly charming storybook B&B while searching for wedding venues, and from the few photos I was able to find online, it appeared to be something out of a fairytale.  Situated just 10 minutes from the ocean and tucked beneath giant California Redwoods of Aptos, is Sand Rock Farm Bed & Breakfast. From the redwood carriage barn, to the turn-of-the-century Craftsman home, and ivy covered stone walls of the winery ruin, it was everything I could have ever possibly dreamed. On my first stay, I knew this was an incredibly special place. We entered through a private gate and drove along a wooded pathway until arriving at a towering yet tranquil home with logs burning in the fireplace. The Arts & Crafts era house was filled with period details like dark wood finishes, original fixtures, and a formal dining room with wainscoting. A grand staircase leads to a second story with window nooks and guest rooms with en-suite baths. And in a neighboring grove, a giant redwood stands tall, a beacon of the property. AND THE FOOD... Derek, the chef, is amazing. The food is fresh, seasonal, and farm-to-table. His attention to seasonal, local ingredients mixed with bold flavors embody the adventurous spirit of this seaside town. From our first breakfast, he was accommodating and cognizant of my dietary preferences, an honorable quality among those with talent.   Staying in this magical getaway, get lost wandering paths through ten private acres, or stay cozy and curl up with a good book by the fire. We did both. All rooms have jacuzzi tubs, robes, WiFi and cable TV. Plus, we loved that our wedding party could stay on-site - there was a great afterparty that ended with a jacuzzi and eating dinner leftovers in the kitchen! Also, conveniently located and very easy for guests to access. This place is truly something special, and I’m already looking forward to our next visit.  It makes me so happy to share it with you.
