All inclusive was the best way to go! Jennifer and Priscilla was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Even when I added a bunch of things last minute. They were able to help with all my questions. The venue is stunning and packaged vendors were just wonderful. This was my dream wedding. If I could change anything it would be to allow the food to stay out all night or just longer than 90 minutes. Also, if I could have gotten into the bridal suite to actually get my makeup done that would have been a nice touch. But that’s minor. The suite was lovely and spacious enough for my immediate family to do our touch ups and change. The drinks were nice and strong. This was the best day ever!

Expressions Floral did an amazing job at our wedding!! We actually booked them fairly late, around August when our wedding was in November. I had thought I could DIY flowers and last minute decided against it. They were easy to book a consult with, listened to every single thing I wanted, put it all into their online portal where I could upload inspo photos too, and sent a quote over quickly! They also easily adjusted it for me when I changed my mind on a few things. Payment was easily made online, and I was able to make changes up until a week out. Everything was delivered on time and exactly as expected on the day of! The bouquets and arch turned out exactly as I had imagined them! They were able to provide tips for the garlands and loose flowers, and overall were very easy to work with, provided everything I wanted, and everything turned out beautiful! They were reasonably priced compared to competitors in the area as well. I would recommend them to other brides! :)

The team at Roles Ranch was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the planning process, ensuring that every detail was taken care of. The venue accommodates up to 145 guests, making it the ideal size for our mid-sized wedding. We were blown away by the gorgeous natural scenery and the well-maintained grounds. Roles Ranch truly exceeded our expectations and we are so grateful to have celebrated our marriage in such a wonderful place.

From Hylary answering my millions of questions as a bride who has never had a vision of what her wedding florals would be to Jacquie applying the vision the day of, they are your go to for wedding florals. Special highlight to my bouquet and the arch. When I first walked in and saw Jacquie putting together my arch, I was stunned and she wasn't even done yet! Sitting next to the arch was a bucket of the most beautiful orange with red marigolds. We weren't sure if we were going to get them but we were blown away we did. Marigolds have a special meaning to my husband's family so having them be part of it was extra special. And then my bouquet. The moment I picked it up, Jacquie was there to guide me and give me extra care for the bouquet. And I even asked her which was was front because it was stunning from every angle to which Jacquie said "That's Hylary's speciality" A bouquet with multiple fronts. Jess made my absolute dream wedding florals come true! After our initial consult, she sent me a beautifully pieced together PDF of her ideas/vision for the florals which must have taken her so much time. We discussed any changes, and then signed the contract. She was extremely responsive, flexible, and understanding throughout the entire wedding process which made my life as a bride so much easier. On the day of the wedding, she was there early and had her set-up process down to a schedule. I have to say, the florals were absolutely stunning and had my guests asking for the name of my florist. As a local California wedding photographer, I’ve had the joy of working at The Mountain Terrace in Woodside many times over the past few years, and it’s truly one of my favorite venues. Nestled among the towering redwoods, this place offers a magical blend of natural beauty and charm that’s perfect for weddings from 20 people to 150. No matter the size, it always feels like an elevated backyard weddings with seamless transitions between spaces with plenty of photo oppurtunities. The outdoor ceremony space, with its meadow and stunning views of the Bay Area, is absolutely breathtaking. And the transition to a yummy dinner on the deck makes for such a cozy evening to top off the celebration. Not to mention, the fire pits s’mores option at the end of the night is an excellent way to make sure all guests feel comfortable and can enjoy their time - dance party or no! From a photographer’s perspective, this venue is a dream. The redwoods, open spaces, and panoramic views create endless opportunities for gorgeous photos, no matter the season or time of day. Plus, the staff here are amazing - always professional, friendly, and on top of everything, making every event run smoothly. I highly recommend working with their venue coordinators to keep things running smoothly, and the kitchen staff is beyond. I ALWAYS look forward to dinners at Mountain Terrace as they use fresh and seasonal ingredients and have some of the best dinner options of any of the venues I’ve worked at. If you’re looking for a wedding venue that’s serene, picturesque, and run by a fantastic team, The Mountain Terrace is a fantastic choice. It’s a place where unforgettable memories are made!

We worked with Yoko from Two Perfect Events, and her team was on top of it every step of the way. Yoko made sure to get to know us and took every step possible over the year we worked together to make sure that we were prepared for the big day. She was in touch with our vendors, and our families and made sure that everything ran as smoothly as possible. We never felt behind schedule or rushed because Yoko and team were so organized and on top of it. They really took care of us throughout the entire process. Something we appreciate is that they anticipated we'd need breaks during the day and scheduled those for us as well, they also made sure we were fed and hydrated throughout! Our families could not stop talking about how efficiently the entire day was managed. 11/10 want to plan another wedding just to hire them again.

TLDR: Sarah Fischback photography was perfect for our wedding! She worked with us every step of the way, had contingency plans and made our wedding day perfect. Why/what we chose: We booked her about a year out from our wedding in May 2024. We wanted someone who was local, with a great portfolio, and wasn’t a chain with multiple sites and a huge staff. She was flexible with the contract as we decided what we did and didn’t want. We decided on 1 photographer for 8 hours, 1 photographer for 6 hours & 1 videographer for 6 hours with an 8-10 min video of the day, plus a hard drive of pictures & footage. Leading up: We made payments in 3 installments over that year. We filled out a form which laid out specific shots we wanted, timeline for the day, and choose music for the video. 1 month before the wedding we had a phone call with Sarah directly to discuss all the plans. She answered every question we had and took great notes on a spreadsheet that she shared with us. She also told us that she was pregnant and would be due sometime soon after our wedding so she was planning to have the second photographer stay longer to help out in case she couldn’t do certain things, at no charge to us. The only “problem”: A week before the wedding Sarah texted us that she had gone into labor. This could easily have been one of those stressful last minute wedding issues, but she had an organized, thorough, and thoughtful contingency plan. She had her secondary photographer become the primary, and had another individual as her secondary. She filled them in on the plans of the day and everything was still a go! And Sarah still edited our photos. It was a bummer we wouldn’t have Sarah there, but given how everything had gone so far we trusted her and hoped for the best! Wedding day: The bridal party was met by Sara Fischer (our new primary) at a nearby hotel right on time for all the getting ready shots! Sean (secondary) arrived with Jose (videographer). They started with shots of the venue and groomsmen getting ready. The ceremony started and they just sort of blended in with the crowd, it was great! We didn’t have a wedding planner for making sure we were on time, but the photographers helped with this (not their job but super helpful). The reception went really well too! They worked hard and I hope I gave them a break to have some food as the day really got away from me! One of the other great things was I had a film camera and wanted some film photos and Sean took a bunch with it for me and I really appreciated that (I bought the film, developed, & scanned them & Sarah did edit some of them). Sara, Sean, and Jose were absolutely delightful people to have at the wedding and seemed truly happy to be there. Photo reveal: 2 weeks after the ceremony we got 8 sneak peaks and gave some feedback on coloring and lighting preferences! 8 weeks after the ceremony we got our photos! I honestly love every single photo they took! Absolutely no duds! Our video was 9 minutes long and beautiful! It is amazing to see all these shots of us and our guests, especially from times I didn’t even notice the cameras. Final thoughts: I cannot recommend Sarah Fischback enough. She did so much for us and made our day very special. I know the photographer is one of the most expensive parts of the wedding, but Sarah far exceeded my expectations and it was well worth it!

My wedding was 10-02-2022 at Temescal Beach House in Oakland. Kim did my hair and make-up as well as the hair and make-up of my mom and 2 bridesmaids. Throughout the process-from my very first phone/video call with her, until the wedding day- Kim was kind, responsive, professional, and completely fantastic. She's genuine and calming which for me, was exactly what I wanted. I do not wear make-up or do my hair so this was the aspect of my day-of wedding prep that I was most worried about. I didn't want heavy make-up or to not look like myself. I also didn't have a pinterest board or a ton of my own ideas because that world (of hair and make-up) is intimidating to me and just not a language I speak. Kim was SO good at giving me options, talking me through things, and REALLY listening to my preferences. She was adaptive and sincere throughout the process and I felt SO beautiful on my wedding day. I looked like me, but leveled up a few notches, and my friends and family recognized me. The hair and make-up also lasted all day which was awesome. Kim is seriously the best (also queer friendly which was great). I cannot recommend her more highly.

We had a pretty involved timeline and he was patient, professional, and very helpful throughout the process. His team was able to capture several amazing shots, utilizing drones to really capture the beauty of the scenery and the day of our wedding from multiple angles. We held our wedding reception at Saratoga Springs in the Cathedral Grove region of the venue on a Saturday in October. After visiting them for a walkthrough, we booked this venue about a year and a few months in advance. This was the first venue we visited and we fell in love! We felt a great family-like vibe from the staff, starting with Jennifer who coordinated our initial booking and tour. Throughout our time preparing for this event, Olivia and Sam were extraordinary in their communication, response time, and knowledge of these events. They did a wonderful job in helping us understand what we needed vs. what we wanted and good decisions to make. They never tried to upsell us on more expensive options, always letting us know the best value for what we wanted. Throughout this process, we knew we had made the right choice in terms of staff. Scenically, Saratoga Springs is stunning! An outdoor venue with several different species of large trees like oaks and redwoods, many small creeks that run through and around the venue, and several amenities included such as lights that wrap around the trees, a firepit, and artificial turf that you can actually wear high heels on! We were in love with the scenery immediately because our reception was LOTR/Legend of Zelda themed and this was perfect for us. Throughout the actual event, the Saratoga Springs staff was excellent. They assisted us and our own day of wedding coordinators in running the event and making sure we had everything that they could provide. Our reception was during a brutal heat wave in the Bay Area, but Cathedral Grove had so many large trees that the shade they provided meant the floor never got hot and it felt more like 75 degrees which was SO essential for the comfort of ourselves and our guests. Everything was great, and we give the venue and their staff a 10/10. There was one glaring issue we want to address. The DJ we booked, Paul Dominguez, was a very nice man. He seemed to be on top of it, being in constant communication with us leading up to the event. We felt that he was going to do a great job. Yet, when it came time for the event, he made SEVERAL mistakes in what we asked him to do that we felt the need to address this situation and performance. He is part of the approved vendor list for DJs but we honestly feel Saratoga Springs needs to either reevaluate him or discuss this with him because literally everything else about the night was perfect for us, except him. Again, he is a nice guy and even provided cold sparklers for us for free which we really appreciated, but the lack of attention to detail in several aspects of this night was something we felt we needed to address here. Overall, Saratoga Springs is an excellent venue choice for a big event like a wedding/reception and we are happy to recommend anyone looking for a venue. We had an amazing experience for our reception and we are very satisfied with the staff and scenery of this venue.

We hosted our October 2023 Wedding Ceremony at Hakone and we were so happy with the beautiful gardens and overall experience. The staff at Hakone (Tony and Melia) were extremely helpful, friendly, and easy to work with and they went above and beyond to make sure our rehearsal and ceremony went smoothly. We requested a unique setup with two aisles and we had a large decoration to attach to an arch we rented through a vendor, and they worked with both us and our vendors to make sure that everything was set up just right with plenty of time to spare. They also helped us work through all the important details of the ceremony without being overwhelming, and they did a perfect job executing on the actual ceremony, queuing our party to walk and managing the music and sound system. The garden itself is beautiful in any season. We visited multiple times throughout the year leading up to our wedding and enjoyed different plants in bloom every time. In October, the garden was still lush and green with redwoods, bamboo, and the Koi pond providing amazing variety. Our guests had a great time strolling through the gardens before and after the ceremony, and there were tons of amazing backdrops for our wedding photos. They even gave us a complimentary year-long membership following our wedding so we could come back to relive the memories! In summary, we highly recommend Hakone whether for a wedding ceremony or just a visit!

If I could give Gracie a 10 star review I would! She was prompt, attentive, easy to talk to and did everything we asked. When I saw my makeup I was in awe! It was everything I had hoped for and more. Our ceremony took place during this heat wave and I can tell you that my face didn't sweat AT ALL! Everyone kept asking me who did my makeup that day and I still continue to get compliments on how perfect it was. I cannot recommend Gracie enough! She made me feel like a model on a day that was so important to me and I will never forget that!
