First off just like that, the day got a whole lot better now that you are here! But let’s get one thing straight: if you are here, I want you to feel free to be YOU! Being true to who you are makes this process a hell of a lot easier! This is a judgment-free free safe space, and I want you to be as comfortable as humanly possible! Now that’s out the way, I'm Jovan Kiah, specializing in wedding and portrait photography located somewhere in the cornfields of Indiana. But always prepared for a photography adventure, I’m already packed with a suitcase of snacks, my passport, & playlist that spans from Disney musicals to '90s R&B hits.

Awarded Best of Zola
Jovan was absolutely amazing to work with. On our calls before the big day, she was always so happy and excited and answered all of our questions and it gave us such a sense of ease. I never once had to worry or stress about photos. Day of the wedding she completely killed it. She was still her happy self but was able to organize us and snap some amazing photos. She did a fantastic job of even catching the perfect small moments, some of which I didn’t even know she was capturing. The photos are all so naturally beautiful and I can’t even begin to describe how much we love them. They are clean and bright and show us, our personalities, and our people perfectly. 100% the best decision we made.

Authentic moments are what set our hearts on fire! We strive to capture you exactly as you are and bring out your personality. Think of us as your best friends that you haven't gotten to meet yet - we are known for dancing with our couples at receptions, snuggling babies to get a few solo pictures of the parents, and becoming lifelong friends with our seniors. We cannot wait to meet you!

Awarded Best of Zola
Kyra and her team were a dream to work with! They took control to make sure our pictures were done in good time, but were open to any of our ideas as well! They made everyone feel so comfortable and had such a welcoming presence. They truly CARED about the people they were working with and wanted the best for us on our special day. They made sure that my hands were never too full as we walked around taking pictures. They held water for me, my phone, and my shoes. They fixed my vail, my hair, Eric’s tie. They were wonderful and I can’t recommend them enough.

Hiya, I am Vital (pronounces Vee-tal), and I am a 20 something guy with a camera in my hands and a cheerful smile. I have been a wedding photographer since 2016, and every year I fall even more in love with my job. My fiancee and I have a dog and a cat. We love to travel domestically and abroad, and I can't imagine life without photos. I enjoy reading or listening to books, especially novels and biographies. Alpine climbing, backpacking, and road-tripping are among my hobbies too. There is more to my life story on my website :)

Awarded Best of Zola
There were so many great things about working with Vital that I hardly know where to start. We booked him through Zola after going through an overwhelming number of photographers’ portfolios— many beautiful pictures, but none of them felt like “us”. My husband and I are both camera shy and felt very strongly that we didn’t want to spend the whole day posing; Vital completely understood and delivered. From the first communications, he made us feel heard, understood, and supported. We met him for a small engagement shoot in our neighborhood to get acquainted before the big day, and he even brought a Polaroid camera after hearing our first photo together was a Polaroid— just an extremely thoughtful and personal touch that really encapsulates the way Vital works. Leading up to the wedding he was incredibly easy to get in touch with, even sending us questionnaires to understand exactly what we hoped to get out of our day (and what we like about each other as partners). I left feeling like he really wanted to understand US and deliver the photos WE wanted— versus some stock lineup of pictures you’d expect at a wedding. On the day of the wedding he showed up early, was totally prepared, and got to work without instruction. My husband and I were able to relax, soak in the memories, and completely forget a photographer was even there. And the results! He delivered our previews within days, had the full gallery ready in weeks, and the photos were gorgeous. He captured so many little moments that I would’ve otherwise missed. He got so many wonderful candid shots of us, our families, and our friends. Each picture is packed with feeling and energy. It was more than we could’ve dreamed of, and we’ve looked at them over and over since they were delivered. Getting the right photographer for your wedding is a huge decision, but if I had it to do over again I’d book Aesthetic Sabotage without question.

Hi friends! We are Vlad and Aida, husband and wife team photographers living in SoCal. We are USA and Europe destination photographers, seekers of that natural light that makes our souls kind. For 13 years already we’ve felt truly honored to have people’s trust for considering us to photograph one of the most important days of their life! We have dedication and passion for what we do and for the people around us! We love how we are able to connect with couples who have the same approach to love and values that we share. Our couples are kind, creative, unique, love adventuring, treat other with respect and throw a wedding that feels like them!

Awarded Best of Zola
Hiring Vlad & Aida was the BEST decision we could have made! We had a wonderful experience working with them for both our engagement and wedding photos. From the very beginning, we both felt very comfortable with them and had so much fun shooting. Vlad and Aida provided us with a detailed timeline of shots to take on the wedding day where to be and how long it would take. It as a perfect timeline to share with my wedding coordinator and wedding party, it made day of stress free! We received our wedding photos in about a weeks after our wedding. If you are looking for a wedding photographer this is the perfect duo for your special day! Also their pricing is so competitive and if you give them your budget my experience was they did everything in their power to get you what you want in your budget, which not a lot of people did!! They easy to work with and totally open to all options in terms of traveling and locations. Cannot recommend enough!! Seriously having The Theodors capture our big day was the best decision ever and I will be recommending them to all my friends and family Will definitely be reaching out to them again for our next big life moments! :)

We feel so lucky to have found Andrew as our wedding photographer. He has an incredible eye for the editorial style and makes his photos into works of art with golden light and chiaroscuro. So many photographers just rely on their high-res equipment but don't offer anything more--I don't want a macro shot of every pore or line on my face like an owl in a tree at 100 yards, I want to have a sense of magic and beauty in every photo. Andrew actually does that. I almost cried when I saw our first look photos because I don't feel very confident being photographed and I finally had dozens of photos of myself and my husband that I want to share with friends immediately and cherish forever. He delivered the first look so fast, even though I know he was busy working another wedding; I thought for sure we would have to wait longer. The wedding package we chose included very nice touches like polaroids so we had something in hand at the end of the wedding day itself, too. It was very thoughtful and left us feeling good about the whole experience right away. He was very personal and nice to work with, but not intrusive, and went with the little schedule changes we had, and was open to suggestions while we took post-ceremony photos around the city. I couldn't be happier with our experience with him and would recommend him highly to anyone looking for a real artist for their wedding photography.

Hey there, I am so happy you are here. A GIRL WITH A DREAMI am a big time lover of love, Jesus, and traveling the world - but you can just call me Hailey. Based in ATL, Im a full time wedding photographer. Im always down for an adventure. When I'm not behind a camera, you can find me on zooming off on a hike with my husband or chatting someone's ear off about my latest podcast obsession. I am here for all the coffee, hugs, & candids. ohh and my Cat hehe

Awarded Best of Zola
I chose Hailey from the moment we had our initial call to talk through her services. She listened so well to our wedding vision & asked thoughtful questions. We were forgoing a wedding coordinator & other “extras.” Hailey was still excited to take us on as clients which some photographers would not have. I was ready to confirm during the call with how supportive and excited she sounded about our day. From this call, she sent over her proposal for cost & information very quickly. She was responsive via text & email to any questions we had. Closer to the date, she sent over a questionnaire so she could be prepared with the photos we wanted. It also included tips & guidance on making sure the experience is smooth. This was super helpful. During the wedding, I was blown away by her and her second shooter. She was decisive when we needed someone to make a decision, supportive to me as a bride, went above and beyond to handle any last minute changes or hiccups with grace. My husband and I had never had professional photos taken. She made it sooo easy and fun! The photos are sooo creative and I continue to pinch myself that they are ours! Wow! Here’s where she deserves to be shouted from the rooftops: We scheduled a hike we wanted photographed to a waterfall on site at the venue (our venue at Hawkesdene in NC lodges all guests for 2 nights). The venue shared it was 1 mile in/out and not difficult. Well it HAILED the night before and rained all night so the path was flooded and muddy. We had to decide to forge ahead or cancel. She without hesitation was ready to forge ahead, ruining her shoes, to ensure we could still have our hike documented with our guests. She encouraged me along the way and I am so grateful because the photos are just incredible. Anyone would be truly lucky to have Hailey capture their wedding. This review doesn’t do her or her skills justice. I will forever cheer her on & can’t wait to find an opportunity to work with her again in the future.

Hi, I’m Kyle. I’m Northwest born, Portland based, and like to think that I have pines trees sprouting from my skin and sun-soaked glacial runoff coursing through my veins. Aside from photographing weddings, I enjoy strenuous hikes with a view as much as indie flicks, comic books, carving powdery slopes, rock climbing, and Trail Blazers games. I like to share these details because I strongly believe that connecting with the couples I collaborate with is integral to the creative process of photographing a wedding. A strong connection will result in the best images possible.

We hired Kyle to photograph our wedding and it was one of the best decisions we made! Not only are we extremely happy with/impressed by our photos (they are truly stunning), we are so appreciative of Kyle’s excellent communication, thoughtfulness, and overall professionalism. Kyle made the process very clear and stress-free. In our first conversation, Kyle took the time to get to know us and our vision for the wedding before walking us through his portfolio— and as we moved forward, he regularly checked in, made helpful suggestions, and answered all of our questions quickly. Finally, on the day of our wedding Kyle made us (two very camera-shy people) totally comfortable. As we got swept up in the rest of the day, we could stay totally present with each other and our guests because Kyle had been with us every step of the way. If you are thinking about hiring Kyle, don’t hesitate— we loved working with him and we love our photos!

Hi! My name is Jacqueline and I've been in the photography industry for almost a decade. I believe that when I pick up my camera, I am there to tell a story. On your wedding day, I am there to document a new chapter of your love story. I capture all the intimate moments of your day, and then some!

Awarded Best of Zola
I cannot even begin to describe how amazing it was to work with Jacqueline for our wedding this past weekend. She was extremely easy-going, communicative, professional, and always quick to respond for the entire year leading up to our wedding. So it came as no surprise that on our wedding day she absolutely crushed it. She captured our day so seamlessly. She was never in the way, never made us uncomfortable and just blended into the background in all the right ways. She made the wedding party and family photos process quick and painless which I know from experience can sometimes prove to be a disaster or just unorganized and chaotic at weddings. I was even MORE blown away when she delivered some photos the morning after our wedding after probably being up super late after getting home from our wedding. Talk about going above and beyond and exceeding expectations!!! I could not have asked for a better photographer to play such a huge part in our big day and I would recommend Jacqueline to ANYONE. Thank you so much Jacqueline!!!!! - Ben and Lindsay

31 year old dog loving, anime watching, fun loving photographer here. Everyone is welcome with me. Sexual preference/orientation, race, religion... I am here for whoever needs me. I want all of my couples to feel safe and respected, to know that they can fully be themselves with nothing but love and acceptance on my end. Bring me all of the tattooed brides in black dresses, the whimsical fairy dress elopements, the dog people who have their babies sign their license, and people who want to *ehem* partake in the local CO offerings. Whatever brings you joy, I want to bring it to life in my photos.

Awarded Best of Zola
Makenzie was my wedding photographer, and I loved her so much I made sure she also photographed my cousin's wedding, too! At this point, any time my family or I need any photos, we go to Makenzie. Specifically for my wedding, she was really helpful throughout the entire process. She had wonderful ideas for different iconic shots, she was there during the most thoughtful moments, and honestly she helped out a lot with anything I needed! I really enjoyed how thoughtful she was with her photos; it's like she knew exactly what I wanted to remember from my wedding and made sure I would be able to see it forever. Regarding the photos, they fit the exact vibe that my wedding had, and I could tell she put a lot of care into editing each of them. There was not a single one that I didn't LOVE. If you're looking for a photographer that will not only capture your big day perfectly, but who you also want to be your best friend afterwards, book Makenzie. She's a really kind, caring person who will make sure you have the most quality photos. I think that's what sets her apart from other photographers I've worked with; you can tell she loves what she does, and that she cares deeply about capturing such an important milestone in the way that YOU want to see it.

Let's have some real talk for a minute... YOUR WEDDING SHOULD BE A PURE REFLECTION OF YOUR LOVE FOR EACH OTHER. Whatever that means for the two of you. It does not have to be an event of pressure and outside expectations. This is the beginning of your greatest adventure and it should make you tingle with excitement and joy. We are whole-hearted believers in this, so we are here to help you every step of the way. If you’re down for a little bit of adventure and a whole lot of magic, let’s grab a drink, get to know each other, and start telling your story!

Awarded Best of Zola
When looking for a photographer, my (now) husband and I knew we didn’t want anything traditional. We didn’t want stiff looking pictures with someone just sitting there and posing us for hours on end or someone who we couldn’t be ourselves around. We knew before we even got engaged we wanted to travel for our wedding and make an adventure out of it. After hours of research, we finally found Kindred Co Weddings. It only took one video call to know she was the one. Olivia immediately made us feel comfortable and welcome. She was so helpful with all of her tips and suggestions. Planning a wedding is known for being stressful but Olivia made it the easiest process. Once the wedding day arrived, I had no stress - both her and her husband, Bryan, directed the entire day based on our wants and made it easily the most dreamy day! It was like going on an adventure with old friends - half the time I forgot there was a camera there, everything came so natural. I couldn’t ask for better people to share one of the most intimate and special moments of my life with. I feel extremely confident recommending Kindred Co to anyone and everyone I know. The sneak peeks we were able to see exceeded our expectations and we couldn’t be happier. My only regret is not adding on the videography to my package!

I cannot recommend Amanda/Salt Ivy Photography enough. When choosing a photographer for our wedding and for our post-wedding mountaintop shoot (instead of an engagement photoshoot), we wanted a photographer who had a unique artistic vision who produced dynamic and emotional shots. We wanted photography that really stood out and was not the run of the mill wedding photography. Most of all, we wanted photography that captured the authentic emotional connection we have and the incredible energy of our big day. When I saw Amanda's work, I knew she was the one. Not only was her work absolutely STUNNING, but she was incredible to work with. We had to change our wedding date 3 total times due to Covid... and even moved it out of state halfway through... Amanda was always flexible, understanding, accommodating and encouraging. The day of the wedding she was calm, loving, fun, and her energy really made the day even more special. Our post-wedding hike/photoshoot the next day was one of the most enjoyable parts of our entire wedding experience. Amanda is not only a phenomenal photographer and artist, but an even better human. 10000000000000/10 recommend.
