Hello there! ! I’m Jen Lee, a wedding photographer in Seattle for over 8 years, I consider it an honor and privilege to be entrusted with documenting the most significant chapters in a couple's life. In my early years as a Creative Portrait Director shooting professional models and full editorials, I immersed myself in the world of visual storytelling. Creating these captivating narratives allowed me to move into the real world of weddings. With an innate sense of empathy and a meticulous attention to detail, I strive to create an atmosphere of ease and comfort with my professional knowledge in lighting, posing, and story telling.

Better than I could have imagined
Our pre wedding meetings and engagement photo session really helped us get to know Jen, and she was so easy and friendly to work with. She got all of the photos we wanted with our large and disorganized family, worked well with our venue to keep the day flowing smoothly, and had such beautiful vision/direction for the photos. We trusted her vision completely and are so glad we stepped out for our sunset wedding shots with her! All in all an incredibly professional and exceptionally talented photographer.
Amazing Photos
JL Thomas Photography was the perfect choice for our wedding photography. The quality of her work was stunning - She used a variety of different landscapes, lighting and framing to capture all the special moments. We wanted several different locations around the area for shots on our wedding day and she worked with us to take all the photos we wanted and more! She is very easy to work with - communicative, accommodating and she made us feel very comfortable. I would highly recommend doing an engagement photo shoot with her. This allowed us to get more comfortable behind the camera and get to know each other a little better. We are so glad we had her as our photographer!

Jennifer and her team at JL Thomas Photography were an absolute joy to work with on our wedding day. From our very first interaction, their communication style was clear, gentle, and direct - putting us completely at ease. Jennifer was incredibly flexible and went above and beyond our expectations, even helping with small details to ensure our day ran smoothly. We have very contrasting skin tones, and were worried about how the photos would turn out, but Jennifer's expertise shone through. Each and every photo was perfectly balanced with no distortion, showcasing the beauty and intimacy of our celebration. The quality of her work was truly worth every penny, and we are overjoyed with the stunning memories she captured for us to cherish forever.
Amazing experience from start to finish!
We had a WONDERFUL experience with Jennifer from our initial zoom meeting to our engagement photos to our wedding day! Her communication is top-notch and her tips and suggestions for everything from outfit and location choices for our engagement photos to wedding day timeline and suggested shot lists were so so helpful. My partner and I are not natural born models by any stretch of the imagination, but Jennifer made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. She captured the vibe of our wedding perfectly, from the detail shots to the candid guest photos. It was really hard to choose which ones to include in this review because we had so many favorites! We can't recommend JL Thomas Photography enough to capture your wedding day. Also highly recommend adding in some film shots as well! You can tell how much time and energy Jennifer puts into her photography and we will treasure these photos forever.
