Our pre wedding meetings and engagement photo session really helped us get to know Jen, and she was so easy and friendly to work with. She got all of the photos we wanted with our large and disorganized family, worked well with our venue to keep the day flowing smoothly, and had such beautiful vision/direction for the photos. We trusted her vision completely and are so glad we stepped out for our sunset wedding shots with her! All in all an incredibly professional and exceptionally talented photographer.

Allison and her husband was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding day. From the very beginning, Allison was organized, energetic, and incredibly helpful in guiding us through the photography planning process. On the day of our wedding, when the weather unexpectedly changed and threw off our timeline, Allison remained calm and professional, quickly adapting to the new circumstances and finding creative ways to capture beautiful photos around our venue. She was also a rockstar during the family photo portion of the day, efficiently directing everyone to ensure we got all the necessary shots. I had never hired a photographer before, and was referred to Eugenia by a friend of a friend to shoot my marriage proposal. My experience was ideal from the first call - she listened and understood what we wanted to capture, made the contracting and payment process a breeze, and most of all: delivered an aesthetic and beautiful product. Eugenia actually seemed to care about us as a couple. We will always cherish these photos and would recommend her to anyone. 10/10!

Lindsey Paradiso Photography

5.0

Seattle, WA
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $5,200

Like many kids in the late '90s and early 2000s, I grew up with a camera in hand—Polaroids, video cameras, disposables, film—you name it. I was captivated by the magic of preserving moments and telling stories. Now, as a wedding photographer, I bring that same passion to capturing your day. I’m known for making people feel warm and at ease, whether it’s connecting with your family, hyping up the wedding party, or quietly documenting the in-between moments. My goal is to create a space where everyone feels comfortable, celebrated, and truly themselves while preserving memories you’ll treasure forever.

Lindsey photographed my wedding in June 2017. My fiancée and I at the time were running into some vendor issues because of where we live and the fact that we are a same-sex couple, so when Lindsey wanted to have lunch with us, we were nervous to say the least. However, it was only minutes into the conversation that I knew we’d found the perfect photographer for us. Lindsey shared her personal stories with us, and made us feel like we were talking with a friend we’d known for years. Wedding days are hectic, and we had a large wedding party, but Lindsey didn’t miss a beat from start to finish. Needless to say, our pictures turned out perfect, and Lindsey was able to photograph our special day wonderfully! We still get compliments about how beautiful our photos are almost 5 years later! Lindsey was professional, empathetic, and a joy to work with. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

I am a wedding and elopement photographer based in Seattle, Washington. With over 5 years of shooting weddings in Southern California, I bring a creative, professional and relaxed approach to help treasure each moment on your special day.

Douglas was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding on 08/17/24. Our original wedding photographer cancelled two weeks before our wedding, and a friend recommended we reach out to Doug. He was thankfully available and from the moment we reached out, he was so easy to communicate with - always quick to respond, extremely accommodating, and so easy-going. His work has been absolutely beautiful, he has an amazing understanding of light, composition, and framing with a lot of experience working with outdoor conditions that truly captured the essence of our special day. Doug fit right in with our wedding - he showed up early, stayed late, and somehow (while just following the standard schedule of the day) managed to get the most incredible true lighting and color in *all* of our photos - everything feels exactly like the day itself felt. We couldn't be happier with the results and would without a doubt recommend Douglas R Hall Photography to any couple looking for an exceptional wedding photography experience.

Mahdi was voted our best vendor at our wedding! By us and by friends that got to know him. From our first phone call I was like, man this guy is cool and relaxed. I'm also pretty relaxed but obviously this can change on your wedding day, so having a laid back photographer was perfect for me. He arrived a bit early to set up and we chatted a bit and he went straight to work and my bridal party loved him right away. I would recommend Mahdi to anyone looking someone to perfectly capture their day or even just capture the moment. You will not find a nicer, more professional, or fun person to help you to remember the most important day of your life.

Chelsea Terry Photography

Hey I'm Chelsea! I'm a wedding photographer based out of Seattle, Washington. I'm a super happy 35-year old who is head over heels in love with her job. Photography lets me combine all of my INFJ superpowers into one package, & it fills me with so much joy to share that with my clients. Beyond photography, I'm a total hippy at heart; I love all things nature, the moon, traveling, wildflowers, old creaky houses, thrift shopping, plants, hiking & horror movies.

Chelsea Terry is D R E A M. We are beyond thankful to have worked with her and that she was a part of our special day. Chelsea instantly feels like your best friend and knows how to make you feel comfortable in front of a camera (esp if you're like me and aren't used to being photographed). Not only is she the best work with in the moment, but her photos are more beautiful than I could have imagined. She sent us some sneak peak photos on our honeymoon and it was such a treat to relive the day through her photos. I HIGHLY recommend you book her for your next wedding or event. We will definitely be looking to her for future photography needs. Thank you, Chelsea! <3

Zoe Smythe Photography

5.0

Seattle, WA
  • Starts at $3,800

Zoe grew up in a small town in Western Canada, earned a degree in fashion design in Vancouver, and lived 12 awesome years in NYC, before recently relocating to Seattle WA. After a rewarding career as a women's footwear designer, she left the fashion industry behind to follow her passion of becoming a wedding and family photographer full-time.

Awarded Best of Zola
Asking Zoe to photograph our wedding was one of the best wedding decisions we made! Zoe is an artist. We’ll treasure our photos for the rest of our lives. Zoe is definitely the person you want to spend your wedding day with (after your spouse, duh)! She has such a calm and cool demeanor and everyone loved working with her. Zoe will also do whatever it takes to get THE perfect shot. We chose a challenging venue, the Seattle Aquarium, with very specific lighting requirements to protect the sea life. Zoe went out of her way to scope out spots and test equipment before the big day. Zoe is so creative when it comes to lighting and all of our wedding guests have been gushing about how cool her photos are.

The most consistent feedback I get from my couples is that I put them at ease. Almost everyone is uncomfortable in front of the camera, but that’s why I’m there — to help you look and feel great creating memories. Your wedding photographer is in your personal space on one of the most emotional days of your life - make sure the person in your corner is someone who adds to the joy on your day. With me, you get someone who can go with the flow, has your back, and seamlessly adapts to the energy in the room.

Working with Jen was one of the best decisions we made for our city hall elopement! She was absolutely incredible throughout the process. Jen was very communicative, easy-going, and kind. On our wedding day, she was well-prepared and immediately put us at ease with her warm and friendly demeanor. We are not the most comfortable in front of the camera, but Jen helped guide and pose us in a way that felt comfortable and effortless. We especially love the candid and real moments she captures. Out photos are truly everything we hoped for and more - stunning and timeless!

Joseph Tobiason

I believe that everyone is beautiful. Somewhere deep within you, there is a fire of light and joy. Not everyone’s light shines in the same way or with the same strength or even all the time. Stuff changes. People are different, but deep down, everyone is connected to the little bit of themselves that is truly theirs. I’m also all about being adventurous. That could mean we’re going to go climb a mountain or it might mean we’re going to try the really spicy chai tea. By experiencing life in the process of making photos, you’re going to be even more connected to the images because they will have stories that go along with them.

We had the privilege of working with Joe for multiple wedding events as we wanted a fall mountain top elopement & micro party followed by a larger party in the spring. As we started planning the different events, it was most important to us to have a photographer experienced in mountain top celebrations. We decided to work with Joe and could not have chosen better. Joe not only ran up a mountain with us but was involved in all the planning details including sharing a list of the best larch hikes, watching the weather and pinpointing exactly when golden hour would be hitting specific peaks. Even as the sun was setting and the light was fading, Joe found all the last bits of alpenglow to make us feel and look like we were the only ones standing on top of the world. He even carried heavy film cameras with him to capture the evening and we're so glad he did as they resulted in some of our favorite photos. The photos Joe took exceeded all our expectations and we have been excited and proud to share them with all our friends and family. Joe's skill doesn't stop on a mountain top. For our micro and macro party events, he brought an incredible sense of calm and serenity to all the wedding chaos around us. He was somehow everywhere, capturing incredible candid moments while still taking leadership to direct the posed shots we wanted. Joe captured the differences and highlighted the uniqueness in each of our events and yet each gallery we received feels cohesive and timeless. It's impossible to choose favorites and it's going to be very difficult to determine which photos to hang on our walls.

From the moment your inquiry lands in my inbox to viewing your full album, I am here to capture your story make your vision a reality. I strive to capture your raw connection while documenting such an important day. On a more personal note- I love the outdoors for more than just photo-ops. This allows me to work with people daily and help make a difference in their lives.

Amanda was the best wedding photographer we could have asked for! She is friendly and sweet, and she made us feel completely comfortable during our engagement and wedding shoots. She was professional and easy to communicate with, and she was up for clambering down a riverbank, tromping around in the rain, and driving up to a remote wedding location to capture our adventure wedding. Marla Manes Photography

5.0

Seattle, WA
  • Classic style
  • Starts at $5,500

Hi, I’m Marla, and I’ve had a camera in my hands since I could hold one. Travel is what first sparked my love of photography– I felt the need to document every gorgeous landscape in my sights across Europe, Asia, the South Pacific, and here in the States. Once I started taking portraits, though, everything shifted, and I became obsessed with documenting love. I value photos as memories, and they’re extremely precious to me. To me, the ability to freeze a moment in time so you’ll always be able to return to that beauty and joy is nothing short of magic.

She is precious and perfect and excellent at what she does. My wife and I happened upon Marla’s work when she first moved to Seattle in our hunt for queer friendly photographers. From the first moment we spoke we knew we’d be in good hands. Working with Marla felt like hanging out with a friend. We love her and you will love her too. We didn’t absorb that she specialized in elopement photography when we found her, but clearly she’s versatile because our photos are gorgeous! As people who aren’t used to being photographed professionally, Marla gave great direction when we needed it and caught a million beautiful candid moments. She forgot her coat in her fiancés car and did not complain or act chilly even though her nose and cheeks were turning red (don’t worry, we shared our jackets with her haha). Our guests also raved about her!!! She’s lovely and talented; she will make you feel comfortable and encouraged and beautiful.

Wow!! I can not sing enough praises about Jackie. We had the privilege of working with Jackie for our wedding and from the very beginning she was incredibly professional, personable, and we truly felt that she wanted to understand & capture our wedding as we had envisioned it. Her photographs online stood out to me from the beginning, but after meeting her - that sealed the deal for us. Although we had quite a few change of plans throughout 2020, Jackie was so encouraging, understanding, and worked with us as we rolled with the punches together. On our wedding day, Jackie was so on top of everything and made sure we had scheduled all the time we would need to capture those special moments with each other and with our families & friends. She is SO positive and makes you feel comfortable as yourself despite being behind a camera lens. Jackie quickly got us our photographs back and wow!! they totally exceeded all my expectations. She captured our day so above and beyond what we had hoped. I truly could not be happier with how they all came out!! It has been such a treasure to be able to look back at those photographs and immediately put myself back in those moments. All around she is THE BEST!!!

A wedding and engagement photographer but so much more than just that. I’m a friend, daughter, sister, momma to my beautiful baby girl Scarlette Rose, wife to one incredible hunk of a man, fur mom to one ADORABLE little Chihuahua, Pug, Great Pyrenees, and two ducks named Harold and Mushu (I WOULD DIE FOR THEM). I’m a hiker, lover of giddy laughs because your body can’t contain all the joy you’re experiencing, lover of love, meditation lover, crystal lover, people lover, tattoo lover, and most importantly…lover of personal growth and learning from this big classroom we call life! Without all these labels?

Ally shot our engagement photos in Yosemite and our wedding in Colorado. We initially hired her because we absolutely loved the spirit of her photos. Everyone was so happy and natural in her photos rather than stiff and posed. Little did we know- Ally puts a piece of herself into all of her photos. Her passion and love for what she does spills out of her- you can’t help but be happy while she photographs you. She truly, fully adores what she does and made us look like professional models by simply making us comfortable and ourselves. Even when she was extremely busy, even when we briefly stranded her in Yosemite in the middle of the night (separate story), we never heard her complain. EVER! She is a true professional, a wonderful human, a speedy fast shot, and the most talented photographer I have ever met. So, stop reading my review and HIRE HER NOW!

Becky G Studios

5.0

Seattle, WA
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,000

California native, PNW resident, coffee drinker, dog scritcher, friend, forward-thinker, designer. I hate having my photo taken (go figure), my dog Boone makes me laugh every day, and I thrive off of honest, intentional conversations. I’ve worked as a photographer for over 8 years and I know that half the job is connecting with people and offering them an experience, not just a gallery. I believe you have to feel comfortable with the person behind the camera before you can let go and fully be yourself in front of it.

My husband and I found Becky G on yelp and after reviewing her website and photographs, we reached out to her and we are so happy we did! Becky is not only an incredible photographer but also very professional and communicates well with her clients. She had us fill out a questionnaire to ensure she captured all of the moments we were most excited about. On the day of the wedding, her and her assistant took photos of the wedding parties, the families, guest, dancing and of course myself and my husband. After the wedding, she sent us sneak peaks and we received all the photos in a timely manner. We were so happy with how they turned out. We will definitely be using Becky’s services again in the future!
