i am julie, owner and principle photographer for sound & sea photography + films! we provide portrait and award winning wedding photography and videography services, specializing in documentary style candid’s and joyful portraiture. sound & sea photography are wedding photography experts. from our initial consultation to the final delivery of your images, i will personally be there to guide you and answer any questions you may have - and more importantly - have a whole lot of fun along the way!

we focus on fun & making your experience enjoyable, while concurrently delivering amazing photos. julie is a full time wedding photographer offering support from booking to wedding day w/ exemplary customer service - including photo planning & unlimited calls. grandma's always tell julie she is best photographer they have ever seen due to her wicked efficient way of shooting family photos, so we can all get back to the fun. julie has a small associate team for those who are more budget conscious or still want the sound & sea experience when julie is booked. we have over 300 weddings under our belt so you can put your mind as ease! xo

    We had a great experience working with Sound & Sea for our wedding and engagement photos. Julie was attentive to our questions in the planning phase, and worked well with us and our wedding planner. Every step was well organized and communicated, including use of a user friendly client portal. We worked with associate Antonio for our engagement photos, and Antonio and Bri for our wedding photos. They both made things fun and comfortable, were attentive to our requests, and were amazing with coordination of time, people, & setting/backdrop. Our family even commented how at ease they felt. The style of the photos was everything we hoped for when we saw Sound & Sea's portfolio. We are very happy with our photos and experience, and would highly recommend working with Sound & Sea!

    Julie was truly one of the best choices we could have made among all our vendors. She was timely, professional, and captured the essence of our wedding perfectly. She really took the time to understand our personalities and what we were wanting in our wedding imagery. On a day filled with nerves, stress, and inevitable mishaps, she helped ease all of that by doing what she does best. Do not skimp on your photographer, and do not hesitate to give Julie a call!     Julie and Sophia were professional and easy to work with, flexible with our wishes, and are able to direct the photoshoots as needed.     We had such a great experience working with Julie and Antonio for our wedding and engagement photos! They were so attentive to any questions and requests we had. They were also super flexible to ensure we had the best experience (for ex. rescheduling for weather during our engagement shoot).
