Like most children in the late 90's and early 00's, I grew up with a camera in my hand. I went through polaroids, video cameras, disposable cameras, waterproof cameras, and film cameras; all the cameras! I was so fascinated by photography and the ability to preserve moments. I'm an ENFP, 7w6, and extroverted-introvert who is not only thrilled but humbled to be a witness and historian to the significant moments in your life we are able to share together!

I consider myself a documentarian and lean more into prompting couples with interactions instead of poses. The photos I am drawn to and try to create are ones where it feels like there is a moment suspended in time and not a pose or a pause that had been orchestrated. You may catch me directing, but I am directing you into a genuine interaction.

Lindsey is the best decision we made for our wedding. We knew choosing our photographer was important, and while we initially picked her based off her photography style and the art she created for weddings, what we ended up with was so much more. She wrangled our scatter brained families, she kept everyone on track, and she always looked out for US. She was exactly as direct and forceful as our families required, without ruffling any feathers. She was professional, kind, and an over all rockstar. During the ceremony I caught a glimpse of her literally sprinting around with her camera in unforgiving heat. Lindsey gave it her all, for 10 hours straight, just to make sure we had memories of our special day. The day after our wedding Lindsey's name came up multiple time amongst our family and friends, always followed by the words "awesome" "amazing" "incredible". I never want to plan a wedding again, but if I did my first call would be to Lindsey.

My fiancée and I were referred to Lindsey and we couldn't be happier. Lindsey was helpful in the months leading up to the wedding with all of our questions about timelines and photo groups. She was very easy to work with and overall just fun to hang out with on our wedding day. The photos are incredible and she did a great job of capturing the overall feeling and vibe of our wedding. We would highly recommend her as a wedding photographer.

Lindsey not only took wonderful photos she was extremely flexible to help us out! Our wedding was on the mall in DC Nov 2019, and it so happened that the Caps won the Stanley cup and the celebration parade was going to be in DC right in the middle of our photos and ceremony... Lindsey went above and beyond and showed up early to make sure we'd have time for all the photos with traffic etc. We also thought we could hit 2 photo spots per ceremony and we.onyk got one / portrait gallery and she when through there like a boss and got.us amazing photos all around the museum. In front of modern art. In stairwells. Dancing in the large attrium area. Our photos to this day are still my favorite :-)

I suggest looking into booking your photographer as soon as you have your date figured out. Most couples book within three days of inquiring with me! I open my calendar 18 months in advance.

Definitely! Most venues these days won't allow photographers to shoot there without insurance. It was one of the very first things I set up when creating my business!

Oh lord no, you don't want that! I generally end up with around 2,000-5,000 images following a wedding. A good portion of them are unusable images ... out of focus, overexposed or uninteresting. There are a lot of practice frames from throughout the day. It's my job to cull through these images and select the images that do the best job of cohesively telling your story.

All of my wedding photography packages include delivery of high resolution professionally edited digital files in an on-line gallery. Other available options are an engagement session, a bridal or boudoir session, a second shooter or additional hours of coverage. Feel free to ask for more details or suggest a custom package. I love getting creative with packages!

I try to stay busy during the whole day, wedding days are long and take a lot of energy! In order to keep me energized, I do ask that I am provided a hot meal on your wedding day. I do pack snacks to eat throughout the day to try and keep my energy up, but there is nothing better than a hot meal after a hard day of work!

I shoot with two camera bodies during a wedding and an array of lenses. I prefer to shoot prime lenses. I do carry backup batteries, memory cards, etc. I try to shoot primarily with natural light, but I am aware this is not always the case so I do bring some lighting gear with me. I have a link to my entire kit on my website if you're interested!

Yes! I am comfortable working in all types of lighting conditions. I can use available light (my favorite), or I have the ability to work with flash.

I share preview images and sometimes a small gallery within the week after your wedding. The full gallery of all images is typically ready in 8-9 weeks for weddings and 2-3 weeks for engagement photos. You’ll receive your photos through a link to your gallery for viewing, downloading, sharing, and ordering prints.
