Trees & Seas

We are elopement & wedding photographers based in central California. It is our passion to travel near and far, to draw closer to others, and to document beautiful and organic stories. We love to hear about how your love story came to be.

It's such an honor for us to be able to share genuine moments with people on one of the best days of their lives. We love to capture those moments organically, so the emotions of the time shine through. We are a good fit for couples who want natural, moody, romantic depth in photos. We shy away from overly-posed and overly-exposed.

Working with Shawn from Trees & Seas was a true pleasure. His professional, timely, and clear communication style put us at ease throughout the entire process. The quality of his work and value he provided was exceptional - he was easy to work with, patient, and kind. When Shawn came to our engagement party and saw that we were running behind on set up, he jumped in to help set plates and move tables and chairs out of the rain. This went above and beyond what a photographer is required to do, and it meant so much to us. Even our family and friends noticed and complimented his incredible work ethic. We worked with Shawn twice, once for our engagement party and once for a photo shoot at San Francisco City Hall, and both times he exceeded our expectations. The photos he provided were absolutely gorgeous, and he worked so well with us to capture the right poses with the perfect lighting and background. In fact, we hired him a third time to photograph our religious ceremony and we’re already looking forward to the photos he will capture there! I would highly recommend Shawn and Trees & Seas to anyone seeking a talented and dedicated photographer in California.

It's been a year since our wedding and I'm still obsessed with the images that Shawn captured during our wedding. He was super flexible and and took photos for a post-wedding shoot in Yosemite, showing us all the greatest spots. We are so happy we had Trees & Seas to capture our wedding.
