31 year old dog loving, anime watching, fun loving photographer here. Everyone is welcome with me. Sexual preference/orientation, race, religion... I am here for whoever needs me. I want all of my couples to feel safe and respected, to know that they can fully be themselves with nothing but love and acceptance on my end. Bring me all of the tattooed brides in black dresses, the whimsical fairy dress elopements, the dog people who have their babies sign their license, and people who want to *ehem* partake in the local CO offerings. Whatever brings you joy, I want to bring it to life in my photos.

I do not put a cap on your photos that I return. I want you to have ALL of the photos from your wedding day. Whatever special moments that I need to tell your story will all be in your gallery. I do not like the idea of holding your memories hostage for $$. Another thing that I pride myself on is that I always form such awesome bonds with my couples. My people are more than just a paycheck. When I book a wedding, I want to make sure that we are compatible and that we are going to have an amazing time at your wedding and beyond. I am out here making friends for life. You can't capture genuine emotion with no connection.

If you are unsure who to book for your wedding, Makenzie should be your first choice. From our engagement shoot, to the wedding day itself Makenzie perfectly captured us as a couple and actually got great photos of us, neither one of us likes taking photos often. Our wedding would not have been the absolute dream that it was without the work of this wonderful woman. I am so grateful for what she has done for us, and I know she can do the same for many more happy couples, and I cannot wait to see the love she continues to capture throughout her career.

We had our wedding in September, did indoor and outdoor photos, and they all turned out amazing! Makenzie was so helpful and dealt with so many last minute changes to accommodate what we needed. Covid threw a wrench in so many things and she was there to help the whole way through. Got through our huge family photos quickly, made us laugh, made us feel beautiful.

Makenzie was my wedding photographer, and I loved her so much I made sure she also photographed my cousin's wedding, too! At this point, any time my family or I need any photos, we go to Makenzie. Specifically for my wedding, she was really helpful throughout the entire process. She had wonderful ideas for different iconic shots, she was there during the most thoughtful moments, and honestly she helped out a lot with anything I needed! I really enjoyed how thoughtful she was with her photos; it's like she knew exactly what I wanted to remember from my wedding and made sure I would be able to see it forever. Regarding the photos, they fit the exact vibe that my wedding had, and I could tell she put a lot of care into editing each of them. There was not a single one that I didn't LOVE. If you're looking for a photographer that will not only capture your big day perfectly, but who you also want to be your best friend afterwards, book Makenzie. She's a really kind, caring person who will make sure you have the most quality photos. I think that's what sets her apart from other photographers I've worked with; you can tell she loves what she does, and that she cares deeply about capturing such an important milestone in the way that YOU want to see it.

I’ve gotten the pleasure of working with Makenzie on a couple occasions, the first being my apocalypse wedding. In March 2020, before regulations were implemented but right when pandemic fears were taking hold of the country, my wedding was canceled by my venue 48 hours ahead of time due to vendor issues. Makenzie drove an hour through a blizzard to be there and capture my tiny wedding anyway while keeping safe distance. The photos from that day are going to be cherished by my family forever. She helped us feel safe and comfortable and maintained the utmost professionalism while enduring a completely terrifying and unprecedented situation. Then, at my rescheduled wedding, she came through again, masked up and ready for round 2 a few months later. I would recommend her to anyone looking for photography services for any event, especially weddings. She captured moments I never thought could be immortalized.
