How far in advance should we book you for our wedding?

We only offer event coverage Friday through Monday from April through October, and we only have openings for one full day or two elopement/micro weddings per month, so we recommend contacting us at least six months before your event date. Please keep in mind that peak seasons like the summer and holidays may fill up quicker than other times of the year.

Do you work with assistants or other photographers?

We offer the option to add a second photographer for an additional fee of $75 per hour.

Will you edit all our pictures?

Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, tone, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look as vibrant and full of life as you remember them being the day we took them. We also offer advanced retouching services such as extensive skin smoothing, major blemish removal, excessive flyaway hair removal, teeth whitening, head swap, and object removal for an additional fee.

How long will it take to see our pictures?

My turnaround time varies based on the type and duration of coverage, so you should consult your client agreement for a more precise timeframe. Delivery timeframes vary based on the type of portrait session or event, so you should consult your client agreement for a more precise timeframe. However, proof galleries are typically delivered within one-three weeks for elopements and four-six weeks for weddings. Once the client purchases and notifies us of their image selections, the finalized images are typically delivered within two-four weeks for elopements and two-four months for weddings.

How many pictures will we get?

Couples who book an elopement photography package will have the option of selecting and purchasing images individually or by choosing one of our digital image packages. Couples who book a wedding photography package receive all the best edited images. The total number of images delivered for weddings varies depending on the duration of the wedding, number of guests, venue type, and other factors, but we typically deliver the equivalent of 60 images per hour of photographing.

I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.

What’s your back-up plan if you can’t photograph our wedding as planned?

I am proud to say I’ve never cancelled a booking! However, in the very rare and unlikely event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, there are typically two options we would explore depending on the reason I am not able to make it. One of the options is to have me hire an associate who photographs the wedding, but I still handle all the editing and delivery of the photos. The other option would be to provide you with a list of available photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can contact, interview, and choose your own replacement.
