Hey new friends! We’re Sam + Kyle elopement photographers splitting our time between the PNW and the SW in our RV. It takes a whole lot of badassery to make the decision to elope and we are very into that kind of energy. We believe in making memories and images that capture all of the big feelings, and the in-between moments that you want to relive over and over again. You know, the kind of photos that hang on your wall and make ya smile real big because you remember exactly how you felt in that moment. We are so glad that you’re here and can’t wait to run wild with you.

Sam and Kyle make an incredible creative team! We got in touch with them after a surprise elopement and were interested in them shooting our reception party. They excel in the elopement category as I am sure you can see from their epic portfolio, but they were just as amazing through the entire process and day of our reception. As with many couples these past few years, we needed to postpone our party for a year and a half before we could gather safely. Sam and Kyle kept in contact regularly and let us know we weren't alone. They provided some amazing guides and so much support while we worked through the challenges of planning throughout a pandemic and busy schedules. They have put so much thought and time into every aspect of their business and making sure their clients have a comfortable and beautiful experience when they work with The Dropped Pin. They encouraged us to sit down intentionally and to find time to go through the questionnaires together and it ended up making for some beautifully connected moments for me and my partner in the midst of everything else. This was all just in the lead-up to the day of! Sam and Kyle were punctual and showed up with plenty of time to get a lay of the venue while everything was still quiet. Like any "well-planned" event, everything ended up being behind schedule. This didn't phase Sam or Kyle, they just kept smiling and keeping everyone at ease, they truly did make herding cats look effortless! Now for the really good stuff, the photos. OMG, THE PHOTOS! Stunning. Breathtaking. Flawless. They were prompt with a sneak peek and final delivery and we are still taken aback at what they were able to capture. Having Sam and Kyle as a part of our day was the best decision we ever could have made. Friends are obsessed with them and the photos they took so I really hope we will get an excuse to work with them again one day!

We are passionate about photographing kind-hearted people who are unapologetically themselves, and creating a safe and beautiful space in the wedding world for LGBTQ+ folx. Our favorite people to work with believe in giving back to their communities, that black lives always matter, that climate change is you know...real, and choose to embrace their own unique quirks and talents.

When you elope in the middle of a pandemic, it matters all the more that you love your photographer--since they'll be the only other person at your wedding. :) And in short, we couldn't be happier that ours was Shawnee. She has such a gift and a love for the work she does—and it shows. We knew she was the right person from the moment we met on Zoom--she is warm and kind, asked all the right questions, and instantly put us at ease. My partner and I eloped at the end of October 2020 in DC, just before the election. It was a whirlwind moment for so many reasons, especially as a queer couple. And it mattered to us that the person who captured those treasured memories, really understood what that moment meant to us. Everyone who sees our photos marvels at how wonderful they are—and no doubt we look great, but Shawnee’s warmth and direction and stellar eye really made all the difference. Vibing with your photographer matters—we’re so grateful to have found one with such grace and as much love for her art as Shawnee. <3

Hey all you cute love birds!!! I am a Boise area photographer, BUT I LOVE to travel and would absolutely kill to travel for you! Okay, not literally kill but ya know. I would love love to travel for you! I am a wedding photographer, who specializes in elopements and intimate weddings! Do I still offer more traditional big weddings? HELL YES. My business is all about creating exceptional experiences! I want to make sure your day is so special, and that you get the images of your dreams! I try to stray from the traditional, and go for more fun, unique experiences! If you're looking for that, let's get this party started!!

I had seen Jordan's photos on instagram and fallen in love with their aesthetic. I've been in traditional posed wedding photos as part of the wedding party and family in the past and I just never look like myself in them. I cannot pose and get very self-conscious if I know my picture is being taken. But having candid moments from the day really meant the world to me and that is what really resonated with me in Jordan's style; the documentary feel. Beyond this, there is this incredible eye for lighting and angle and capturing just the right moment that this duo (because it is Jordan and her husband, Trent) brings that I didn't find in any other portfolio I went through when looking for a photographer. She was super patient and understanding when walking me through the process on our introduction and every other subsequent call leading up to the day. We weren't going to be using engagement photos for the traditional announcements, but I had this idea of a wonderful series of photos at this location on the island where we were having the wedding that we could have as kind of our own celebration of our engagement and they were instantly on board and agreed to come out the day before to do those photos at that time. It ended up being a really lovely time for us 4 to bond and get used to each other so I highly recommend doing some kind of engagement photo session even if you're a photo-averse person like myself and the thought of doing more photos seems like the last thing you want to do. Jordan and Trent are so calm and relaxed that it made it really easy to be natural around them. And then on the day they were absolute rockstars. We were, as is surprising to maybe no one but us, running super late and they very gracefully helped manage our extended families and the venue to keep the pressure off us while still getting everything done they could. We showed up to the venue with 20 minutes to the ceremony and we somehow managed to get all our family photos (with toddlers and blended modern family combinations in the mix) and still be only 5 minutes late on the ceremony start. Then we snuck away for sunset photos and that ended up being this absolutely beautiful time we got to spend together during the reception, not awkward at all. And I truly think that's because of how natural and talented this duo are at their jobs. They were like the most lovely and helpful guests at the wedding, truly like having friends who are photographing the day for you. They made the day exactly what I hoped for, this beautiful, cherished time spent with family and friends in a magical place celebrating being all together and I cannot imagine my wedding without them there. I don't have the full album yet, but I do have the engagement photos and an absolutely breathtaking sneak peek of the day and they are so beautiful I almost don't believe it. Hopefully I won't need another wedding photographer (hahahaha) but if I do need family photos for the future they will be my first call.

***I specialize in small events! Elopements and Micro Weddings. Hi Friends! I'm Alexandria! I'm a bubbly, dog lover who loves exploring and experiencing new things, so I'm so lucky to have found my home in Washington. I'm obsessed with tall trees, could stare at the waves crashing against the beach for hours, and love the jaw-dropping feeling I get when I see something truly just majestic in the mountains.

I am a wedding planner and Alexandria and I originally met at a wedding we worked together, where I was the planner and she was the photographer. As the planner, it's my job to communicate with the full team of vendors and make sure all of us are on the same page to serve the couple and do the best we can to give them the wedding they envisioned. Through no ones fault, this wedding didn't quite turn out as envisioned because there ended up being a tornado warning! This meant that we had to move what was originally supposed to be an outdoor rooftop ceremony to a banquet hall indoors and it put a lot of the planned outdoor group photography up in the air. Oh boy! I tell this story because now looking back at the photos from that wedding, I think some of the most special ones (at least from my outsider perspective) are the ones she captured from the couple's first look, which happened outdoors in the rain. Rain was not a part of the plan, but is forever now one of the most beautiful memories of this couples day. Alexandria's ability to roll with things and capture the realness of what was happening is not a talent every photographer has (and I've worked with a lot)! She was exactly what you'd look for in a vendor - great communication, being one step ahead of things, knowing exactly where to have her eyes and lens on what was important to capture in the moment. A few years later I was lucky enough to be the coordinator, hired by Alexandria and her husband for their "big" wedding so they were able to enjoy their day. It is always an honor to be a vendor trusted by another vendor for their wedding because they can be understandable more selective in who they want to work with. It was a joy to get to know her more on a personal level through this process, and the values and vibes that are important to her. Her and her husband had already been living in Washington for some time and I could tell the Pacific NW lifestyle was perfect for them, which translates directly into the updated direction of her photography business. I appreciate a vendor that doesn't try and be everything to everyone, and instead focuses on a tailored, personalized experience to be able to specifically serve those they align with the best. Also, listen to me as a planner - Photography is one of the MOST important vendors and spends you should make for your wedding because when everything is said and done, all you will have are those photos. Plan your adventure elopement with her today!

I've been photographing professionally since 2004 and while it's always so awkward to write about yourself, here goes: In that time, I've been honored in my field as Seattle Bride Magazine's Best Photographer multiple years and invited to the exclusive list of WBWP as one of the World's Best Wedding Photographers, planners and clients tell me I'm known for flattering posing, natural results, indoor lighting in tricky situations, and a light touch that allows beautiful moments to flourish ♥︎

Hiring Kim (specifically Kimberly Person, regardless of company name) was the best decision I made for my wedding. The short version: + Photography: gorgeous photos in both indoor and outdoor settings, in tricky lighting, for groups of people with widely varying complexions and dress colors, staging props, and including pets without unnatural filters/corrections + Planning: Years of experience lending to a helpful planning checklist, network of talented wedding vendors, willingness to jump in where needed to ensure wedding planning and wedding itself go well + Extras: Prioritizes bride/groom’s comfort and experience over everything else, makes taking pictures feel fun, gets where she needs to be for every photo opportunity The longer version is that I can’t imagine having had my wedding without Kim. I delayed my wedding a year because of Covid, and Kim was only supportive throughout. She remained flexible with date changes, and always seemed to care more about how I was feeling than how changes to my plans were changing her plans as well. My wedding was at the Asian Art Museum in Seattle in October. I got ready at my house with my bridesmaids in the morning, did my first look outside my house (the dog got to join in too!) in the early afternoon, took photos with my husband and our bridal party in Volunteer Park on a luckily clear afternoon, took photos with our families in a room with floor to ceiling windows inside the Asian Art Museum a little before sunset, followed by the ceremony in the same glass-walled room after sunset, and danced the night away in the brightly-lit main hall. The photos Kim took in all those different environments are equally stunning, showcasing a very wide range of skin colors, varied shades of blue and green jewel tones in dresses, and either the soft white of the museum or the bright greens, reds, and yellows of the park in fall for the background. Despite the changing light between our family photos and ceremony in a glass-walled room, Kim made us look and feel. Kim’s cues were easy to lean in to and my wedding photos look and feel natural. Kim was also my unofficial wedding planner. Whenever I asked her for a recommendation, she first checked to see if the people she was recommending were available on my wedding day. Kim built in all the right buffers in our schedule for the day and walked the officiant through how to correctly fill out and sign the paperwork after the ceremony. She expertly navigated family drama and possible conflict by asking us about it weeks before the wedding. She made sure she had everyone’s preferred names and pronouns, and coordinated with all our other vendors to ensure everything was staged and photo ready on time. What I will never forget and will forever be thankful for is how Kim prioritized my comfort over two years of wedding planning and the million moments of my wedding day. She shut down strangers in the park who were taking photos of me and making me uncomfortable, reminded me to point my toes before the first dance, and drove my husband and me to the wedding so we weren’t dependent on anyone else’s schedule. Kim is the reason why I can look back on the beautiful memories of my wedding day, and all the moments my guests enjoyed that I wasn’t present for. I suspect she knew my husband and I would be pulled in many directions that day, but she caught every moment we were on our own and every moment we weren’t present for, taking in everything and everyone around us.

My name is Claudia, I am a wedding photographer based in Seattle, Washington and I love Jesus, traveling, hiking, and anything chocolate! In 2018 I graduated from Whitworth University in Spokane, WA with a degree in Graphic Design. I recently moved back here to the Seattle area and I am so happy I did. All of my passion and drive ultimately comes from the Lord. He has given me this gift of photography and design; it is my job to share it with all of you! All credit goes to HIM. I am extremely passionate about capturing your special moments! I want to hear YOUR story, to help make you more comfortable in front of the camera.

My now husband and I booked Claudia for our Fall 2019 wedding and we are so lucky to have picked her for our photographer. Where do I even begin? Claudia was so kind, professional, and prompt to answer any questions thru the entire year long process from when we booked with her in 2018. I was the organized bride who had EVERYTHING planned out along with a bunch of outdoor photo locations chosen until it decided to pour rain/snow the day of our wedding on what should have been a beautiful Fall day. Claudia was quick to calm me down and suggest photo locations inside our venue. She encouraged me to go outside for some photos when the rain let up a bit and I AM SO GLAD WE DID! Those photos turned out to be my favorite photos that Claudia has sent us, ironically enough since I was reluctant to get my dress wet prior to the ceremony. Claudia might be small, but she has a mighty voice and was able to quickly organize the groomsmen and families into photos for our new short timeline due to weather. I can't thank Claudia enough for the NEXT DAY sneak peeks (who even does that?! Claudia does!) and for all of her help capturing our wedding day. I would highly recommend Claudia to anyone I know.

I am a creative and passionate Elopement and Wedding Photographer who captures the moments you will look back on for a lifetime. Those raw, authentic, candid, just as they happened moments. These are the memories you will cherish and pass down through your family, to your children, and grandchildren. The memories you will print and hang up on your walls turning your house into a home. The moments you cannot re-live, but you can re-visit with each photograph. These are the cherished memories and moments I capture for you, and your loved ones.

Candance was extremely professional throughout the entire process of hiring her for our day. I was extremely stressed out and she offered help with the location and was extremely knowledgeable when it came to when we should plan around. We always knew we wanted a small intimate moment just for us, and she made it a moment that was uninterrupted, but that we could share with those who were not there. She helped with location, and timing, and knew everything to do with when the weather-wise would work best for what we wanted. She listened to us and was extremely friendly. The session was fun, and she guided us through everything in a way that didn't make us feel like we were in a photo shoot but a fun moment of our lives that we will cherish forever. The memories we have on film will last forever and cannot thank her enough for capturing these moments for us. If you are looking for a photographer who will listen to you, treat you with respect and make your day magical, don't even look at other photographers, Candance is exceptional at what she does and will make your day perfect.

Welcome to Taira Marie Photography, we are excited that you have found us! Take your time browsing around to learn a little bit about us and our style. We are here for you if you have any questions and are looking forward to connecting with you!

Deciding on a wedding photographer is not an easy task because you know these are once-in-a-lifetime memories to be captured, but choosing and working with Taira Marie Photography was nothing short of extraordinary. We discovered their Instagram through our Wedding venue, as they had worked together on some events and photoshoots, and I was immediately drawn to the photography style. It was completely serendipitous to find out that they had our wedding date available and hit it off with their team on our first meeting. Our package came with an engagement shoot, which gave us an opportunity to really get comfortable in front of the cameras, they turned out lovely and we realized how truly passionate Taira is about her job. The photography team worked with us to hit every "shot list" photo we wanted to get on our big day and captured the most beautiful details. Taira and Joey felt like family at our wedding and have been so good to us with their communication and professionalism. Our wedding album just arrived (hand-delivered too!) and it's amazing, I'll never forget how we felt that day because it's so wonderfully and thoroughly portrayed with their photography.

We're Natasha and Brian! A husband and wife, PNW elopement photographer duo. When we're not getting slimed by our own slobbery dog Fern, or helping you plan your dream wedding day, you can probably find us alpine lake lounging, making a weird new kimchi flavor, or deep on the forestry roads in our (always dirty) Tacoma blasting some indie alt or rap (there's rarely an in between lol). We're your photographers, die-hard dog petters, and donut-eaters that are all about playful banter, real conversations, and no icky small talk.

For me and my now-husband Ryan, the importance of finding an excellent wedding photographer was unparalleled. We discovered Natasha and immediately were drawn to the nostalgic, film quality to her work. We love the way she captures moments that feel both so real and so dreamy at the same time. It’s an art! Additionally, correspondence with Natasha was always a pleasure. She was speedy in her responses, always answered any questions, and just extremely down-to-earth and easy going. Our introduction to working with Natasha came from our winter engagement session. We chose to do the shoot at home and around our neighborhood in Seattle. Though we were still nervous in front of the camera, Natasha chatted with us and helped us open up. The photos from this December day were cozy, comfortable, and felt completely like us! And finally the Big Day arrived! Natasha and Brian photographed our July 2023 wedding and the results were just perfect - more lovely than we could have dreamed. On top of that, we loved getting to hang out with them! They made our wedding day feel calmer, more relaxed, and allowed us to just be us. We highly recommend Natasha and Brian for all your engagement and wedding photography needs. They’re the best!

Hey there! My name is Emett and I've been a wedding photographer for over 5 years now. There's nothing better than delivering a couple their dream wedding gallery and knowing they had an amazing experience, too!

Choosing Emett to photograph our intimate, destination wedding was the best choice we could've made! We spent a long time searching for a photographer that matched our style, was easy to get along with, and was LGBTQ friendly. Finding his website and talking with him during our consultation really sealed the deal for us. His laid back, comfortable, and easy to get along with vibe was everything we were looking for. As a queer couple, it was really important to us to have a photographer who did not try to pose us in traditional "masculine/feminine" poses, and captured the intimate, candid moments of our day. Emett did just that, and somehow more than we ever expected. Not only did we have the best photographer ever, we also felt like we made a friend in the process. Since our wedding was such a small event, but a special one, we did most of the planning and decorations ourselves. Emett was super helpful and always available to help with creating timelines, picking locations, and finding vendors that worked for us. He stuck with us after changing our minds a million times and made us feel so confident that our wedding was going to be perfect. During our engagement photos, we knew that we made the right choice! Taking photos with Emett was so comfortable, easy, and fun! I remember thinking that this was the first time that I had photos taken where I wasn't even thinking about what I looked like. On our wedding day, Emett helped us make sure our day ran smoothly, and helped us navigate insane wind to make sure that we got all of our shotlist, and he was there capturing all of the candid moments and important shots that we wanted. The whole day, he was there to hype us up, and made us feel so comfortable and taken care of. Looking back at our gallery, we could not be happier with the photos we have. We are so grateful for the most beautiful photos to remember the best days of our lives. We could not recommend anyone more than Emett to capture your perfect day!

I'm a Colorado-based wedding and elopement photographer! My approach is all about delivering a gallery that never goes out of style. It is my mission to capture the real you in a timeless, effortless, and intentional way. I'll be more than just a photographer - I am your weather stalker, tissue holder, dress bustler, location finder, defender, timeline planner, hype woman, rogue eyelash fixer, tie straightener, lipstick holder, water provider, confidant, and more. All of this and more I do for you because I love serving the smitten, joyous, wandering lovers.

Claire goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable, confident, and at ease as a couple on your wedding day. We started off with Claire doing our engagement shoot and could not even imagine not booking her for the wedding as well regardless of what state each of us were in. She spends time to get to know her couples which sets her apart from any other photographer we inquired with. She truly is just amazing at what she does and even better, an amazing genuine person. Every single picture that was captured between our engagement photoshoot and wedding truly depicted the exact essence of how the day, the moments, and the emotions felt. I cannot say enough positive things about Claire and will forever be grateful for having crossed paths with such a good and talented human being 3
