Celebrating the wholeness of life and the perfection of love I truly ask you to "stay gold"! My beautiful clients are couples of all genders, orientation, and identities who have found each other and want this moment in time captured in heirloom quality. We leave the churches and the hotels and venture into wild world, up the mountains, to the islands, into the forests, and out into the deserts. Stay Gold Tyler delivers stunning portraits, family heirloom formals, and b-roll candids that will have you laughing and "aww"ing for a lifetime. Tyler splits time between South Florida, New York City, and Seattle.

In 20 years after the memories fade, the cake is gone, the dress is in storage, and how many bridesmaids did you have? You'll have two things in your home. The first is your marriage, the second are these photographs. The importance of documentary photographs to your story is very much on my mind while I'm photographing you and your families. I blend into the guests and makes friends with your mothers (that's the secret to good candids!). I won't just be "the photographer", I'm Tyler. With 70+ wedding experience I can also be a source of reasons and calm on an otherwise busy day. We'll get through the photography in time for cake.

Full Wedding

Description

Generally a celebration of 11 or more attendees. I provide a minimum of 50 photographs per hour of coverage and a flexible shooting schedule. Coverage is priced per hour with most weddings needing 4-8 hours of coverage. Your photo set includes stunning portraits, ceremony documentation, family formals, and a collection of candids and details. An initial consultation will help determine how much coverage you need based upon what you want.

Elopements

Description

    We got married in the Hoh Rainforest in the Olympic National Park in Washington state. We chose Tyler because we hadn't been to the location before, and he was from the area. He guided us through the entire process, helping us find a beautiful place for the ceremony in the rainforest, and provided clear directions for getting there (it's 4 hours from the city, deep in the national park). He managed to keep us laughing even when it started raining. My husband and I can be awkward in formal photos, but Tyler helped us feel comfortable the entire day, and the results were absolutely stunning!

    My husband and I got married on a hiking trail near Seattle in 2015. We lived in Nashville, and had never even been to Seattle, yet we had a trip planned there and decided to elope. I found Tyler's photography website online, and immediately could tell his style was exactly what I was looking for. The entire time leading up to our trip, Tyler's communication was excellent and he went above and beyond to make sure our elopement went exactly like we wanted it to. He even let me ride with him to our elopement spot, as my soon-to-be husband rode with our officiant (we wanted to do a first look, so I didn't want to ride in the same vehicle). We didn't have a specific plan for that day, but Tyler facilitated it so effortlessly -- as if it had been planned all along. He suggested a first look at the base of the hiking trail, and after that we hiked together until we found a good clearing in the woods for the little ceremony. When that was over, we hiked the rest of the way to the top, where we took a few more photos and signed our wedding license. Tyler even surprised us with a bottle of champagne to celebrate! Tyler, his assistant, and our officiant were the only ones there besides my husband and I, and we enjoyed the day together as if we had been friends all along. Now that I've made it clear how highly I think of Tyler's communication, suggestions, and helpfulness, I'll add that his photography is incredible. I wasn't sure how the pictures would turn out, as our elopement day was overcast and seemed to be on the brink of rain-- but as soon as I saw them for the first time, I was blown away. In the years following, several people have told me our wedding photos are the best they have ever seen. Tyler took a beautiful location, and truly did it justice with his camera- a feat not every photographer can achieve. (And to think half of the photos were taken WHILE he was hiking alongside with us!) If you want a personable, professional, and helpful photographer who can deliver the photographs you'll cherish for the rest of your life, look no further. Tyler is your guy!!

    Tyler was amazing to work with! He captured every beautiful moment of our wedding day and the photos are such wonderful reminders of one of the very happiest days of our lives. He spent thoughtful time with us before our big day to get to know us and to make sure that we got the shots we were hoping for. Not only did we have a ton of fun with Tyler, but he took photos that are incredible and captured so many special moments. All of our guests loved him too – so much so that two of our friends couldn’t wait to hire him for their own wedding a year later!
