Hi! I'm Lauren, but you can call me Ren. It's so great to meet you! I've had the privilege of photographing love and connection for the past six years, and I still smile when I tell people that this is my job—because it’s never felt like one. Being invited into such intimate and vulnerable moments is something I don't take lightly. I’m not just here to take pretty photos; any photographer can do that. I want to create an experience that genuinely reflects your love story and helps you remember what it felt like to love deeply in this moment, right now.

I want to walk with you and beside you through a little bit of life. My heart is all about documenting who you truly are, because you deserve to look back on your photos and see the real YOU. I’m here to capture the genuine moments that make your story unique, with all the little quirks and big feelings. I want this experience to be so much more for you than just photos.     I fell in love with Ren's photography style when I came across her portfolio on another site over a year ago. Ren was our photographer for both our engagement and elopement. She is incredibly technically skilled and professional with her art as a photographer. Neither of us are flashy people. We wanted a low key wedding, and we knew we did not want to compromise on our photos–because we knew and still know our photos will be forever held onto. As a bride, it's easy to become stressed about the small details, but her responsiveness and communication alleviated my anxiety; I was assured our photos would be a greater reflection–a memento–of our story as a couple. She also made us feel very comfortable as the subjects of her photos, which allowed us to be more natural in front of a camera. On the day of our vows, she went above our requests–truly; it would be cliche to say she went above and beyond but she truly did. We had no doubts or fear that our photos would turn out beautifully–and we were right. We will be forever thankful for the personal care and time of Ren. Thank you so much for offering us with these mementos we will forever hold onto on our way through and into our older age.

    We worked with Ren for our small courthouse ceremony on Whidbey island and I was seriously blown away. She is so thoughtful, caring and TALENTED. She was very fun to work with and really wants to make sure everyone gets what they want out of the experience... but also give guidance! My husband and I both hate staged photos and were not super into the idea of professional cheesy romance photos but these are SO ROMANTIC and just pure style. Ren's style is classy and classic but also hip. We loved every moment working with Ren even though it was pouring down rain like seriously such a huge rain storm. Ren is a trooper for sure she did not complain at all about having to work in the rain and was so kind working with us as we froze our tushies off. We loved working with her so much we hired her AGAIN like 3 days later to take pictures for us at our wedding reception. Hire her for seriously any photographer needs just do it she is the absolute best and you will not regret it!

    Ren has a warm and welcoming personality and is fun to work with! She is an expert in capturing candid moments (and those are the best ones). Fiance and I had our 1st photoshoot together and it didn't feel awkward at all! Ren goes through the effort and extra time to get to know the couple she'll be working with before doing the actual shoot. We loved working with Ren because every communication reminded us that she cared and listened to what we wanted to convey in our photos. She has only shown us the sneak peeks for now and oh my we are in love with them! Can't wait to see the final photos! Thank you Ren!
