We used the Tree Top Room. A little under 100 guests. The outdoor ceremony space is beautiful. It’s deceiving because we were wondering how our guests would fit but it was more than enough. It’s also shaded which was perfect for a hot day. Wedding packages are very inclusive and don’t leave a lot for you to worry about. We went with the Ruby package which included 4 passed apps, a cheese and fruit display, champagne toast, salad course, choice of 3 entrees, wedding cake allowance and center pieces for the reception tables(sweet heart table was an extra fee but was reasonable). We added a late night snack station as well. We worked with Janet and had a Day of coordinator, banquet captain and a bridal attendant. The entire staff were absolutely amazing. We got so many compliments from our guests about how smoothly everything went, how beautiful the venue was and how delicious the food was. If you are looking for an all inclusive place that will literally do everything and take away any chance of stress.. I cannot recommend them enough!! They really know what they are doing!

At Celebrate we want our couples to have a completely memorable day that is uniquely their own. Snug Harbor’s 86+ acres of manicures gardens and lush landscaping are the perfect setting for outdoor ceremonies and entertaining al fresco. The property features a large tented pavilion, grand ballroom and lower great hall for more intimate gatherings. The Tuscan garden is modeled after the Villa Gamberia in Florence, Italy. The Tuscan Garden features landscaped terraces, formal water elements and topiaries period plantings. The Chinese Scholar Garden is one only two authentic Chinese Scholar Gardens in the United States. The garden features magnificent rockery bamboo foot path, waterfalls & Koi-pond.

As a floral design company, we have had the privilege of working on numerous weddings at Celebrate at Snug Harbor, and I am excited to share my experience. I would like to give special thanks to Josephine and Jessica, who have been incredibly helpful and made our work smoother and more organized. In a venue like Celebrate at Snug Harbor, which boasts multiple gardens, effective internal teamwork, and communication are essential for every event. Celebrate at Snug Harbor has a unique and enchanting natural countryside feel. It stands out from other venues, and you can easily tell why many couples love this place. The entire venue offers numerous picturesque spots, which is a significant plus for both guests and newlyweds. Over the past year, we have worked on wedding ceremonies in the White Garden and the Tuscan Garden. The White Garden features a vast and stunning lawn, while the Tuscan Garden has a touch of classical architectural design. The fountain in the Tuscan Garden leaves a lasting impression on guests. Let's talk about the Chinese Scholar Garden, which is the only Chinese-themed garden in New York. It is perfect for couples who appreciate Chinese culture. Cocktail hours are usually held there, and the designated vendor, Relish Catering, provides food and services. The Tented Pavilion serves as the primary reception venue. The food and tableware are all provided by Relish Catering. They pay great attention to detail when it comes to table settings and culinary presentations. In conclusion, we highly recommend Celebrate at Snug Harbor. The attentive and dedicated staff, along with the stunning and uniquely styled venue, are truly impeccable. When you look back at the photographer's pictures, you will know that everything was absolutely worth it.

Nassau Inn was a pleasure to work with, and it made our lives SO much easier in the planning process. Yes, the prices are a little high, but I really felt like we got our money’s worth. Plus, if you choose to get married in a Friday instead of a Saturday, you get a pretty decent discount!

I have yet to work with another venue like this.

My Fiance and I live out of state and only had one weekend to find a wedding venue in NC that fit our needs and budget. I feel like within seconds of arriving at The Emereld Hill we knew that we had found our spot. Ashley was so so welcoming and attentive during our tour and answered any and all questions we had. There wasn’t an ounce of pressure to hurry up and sign and it didn’t just feel like we were just another another open wallet to feed a business (as was the case with some of the other venues we toured). She has been so communicative and understanding throughout our wedding planning process and has truly gone above and beyond to make sure our wedding day is special. Also of note, this is one of the few venues that puts their available dates and venue prices clearly on their website. If you have been on the wedding venue hunt you know how amazingly convenient this is as it saves you so much time/energy as opposed to having to inquire/email with every venue just to find out they don’t have your date or are outside your price range.

We had our wedding at Grand Cascades in June 2022 and had such an amazing experience! Throughout the planning process we worked with Sarah, who was awesome all the way from planning the details, picking up the phone whenever I needed her, providing advice on anything I asked, and all the way through to the day of. She handled everything that came up with grace and kindness, even in tough family situations that arose. We chose CS Grand Cascades for a few key reasons (1) the amazing menu and presentation of the food (2) the beautiful ceremony, cocktail hour and reception spaces no matter rain or shine and (3) the value you get for your money. We also LOVED the fact that the hotel was on-site and we didn’t need to worry about transportation for ourselves or our guests throughout the day and afterwards. This provided SO many advantages, including access to the bridal suite all day and being able to take advantage of the hotel bar on-site for a causal after party without any extra cost to us. It is definitely an under-rated venue in NJ that we are SO happy we found! We were able to stick to our ideal budget while not comprising on quality of the event. I have been told by so many people how we threw the BEST wedding they’ve ever been to. The event staff is a well-oiled machine and truly think of everything to make your day the most special and seamless experience. Highly recommend to all future brides!!

We had our wedding at Venezia on 6/29/24 and it was absolutely perfect. Jennifer was our coordinator that we worked with throughout the entire process. She was so helpful and organized during the entire planning phase and truly listened to each one of our requests to make them a reality. The food was phenomenal, we have had so many guests reach out to say how delicious everything was, from the massive cheese display to the portion sizes of the dinners and the dessert table was HUGE. There was plenty of food and plenty of staff to assist all 250 of our guests. As the bride and groom, one staff member, Rob was nearby us all night for any single thing we needed and to ensure we were having a great time. He was so helpful! The timeline of the entire day went off without a hitch, once again thanks to Jen for understanding how we wanted everything to flow and to the entire staff for executing. There were no delays in getting food to tables and the entire ceremony and reception flowed smoothly. The newly renovated second floor space is STUNNING. We had our ceremony up here and it was beautiful. The venue has ocean views on both levels and a beautiful deck that guests were able to use during our reception. I can not recommend Venezia enough for a wedding or any other event - they are truly professionals and experts at what they do. Our day was perfect and we are so happy this was our venue.

They have a fabulous team to help you plan and execute the wedding of your dreams! The team (Duckie, Jimmy, and Libby - huge shoutout!) all were awesome to work with through the planning process. Super communicative, responsive, professional, knowledgeable, and supportive through the whole thing. They helped us plan the most perfect day and made it so easy on us. Jimmy was our day-of coordinator and deserves extra praise for pivoting gracefully and adjusting the evening’s timeline flawlessly when our shuttles unfortunately were super late to arrive with our guests. The rest of the day-of team were all amazing, too. DJ Abel blew our socks off - we didn’t want typical wedding music, and he totally nailed the playlist and the vibe we were hoping for. I even had a touching moment with the security guard who pulled me aside and said he got emotional during the father/daughter dance, which was such a lovely thing for him to share. Wedgewood as an organization seems to have a very organized, structured approach to wedding planning, which I so appreciated. They were great partners and helped us have the most perfect day on one of the biggest days of our lives!

I would recommend Wheeler House time and time again to brides-to-be! Their team is warm, knowledgeable, and took the time to respond thoroughly to my (many) emails :). The venue itself is gorgeous. We used the barn for our ceremony and reception to escape the summer heat, and it was both beautiful and comfortable for our guests! The morning of our wedding came with a huge thunderstorm, but by early afternoon, the staff had cleaned up the yard of all the twigs, leaves, and branches that had been blown around, and it was like nothing had ever happened! We were able to take photos as normal, free of flooding and debris! Kelle was our day-of coordinator, and she was WONDERFUL! She is kind and calm, yet efficient, and her expertise helped me to be at ease on our wedding day. Getting ready inside the house was also a pleasure! There was more than enough space for myself and my 4 bridesmaids to get ready in the same room together. Despite it being an older home and getting married in the summer, it was very comfortable! Overall, The Wheeler House helped me to have my dream wedding day, and I could not recommend them more!

We had the most perfect wedding at WWR. The venue itself is on a beautiful backdrop on the Texas countryside. The venue owners are very hands on and are very responsive. They are reasonably priced and offer so many suggestions to have a beautiful event for any budget. Donna sent us a list of recommended vendors that helped us to find an amazing photographer. She was our DOC and was so helpful the day of the wedding. I almost didn't have to think about anything on the day of because she handled all of it. We had an outdoor wedding in June, but the shaded ceremony cite made the heat bearable. All of our guests said that they were totally fine in the shade during the ceremony. Guests even continued to hangout in the shade after the reception started.

Separk Mansion is a wedding venue located in Gastonia, North Carolina that is just 20 minutes from Charlotte. This renovated mansion is designed with beautiful weddings in mind and will give you an elegant backdrop that will create a celebration that is full of everlasting memories. Separk Mansion is ideal for both indoor and outdoor weddings. The first floor ballroom retains old vintage hardwood floors and has a ceiling that shimmers with crystal chandeliers. At the front there is a large staircase as well as large front doors that lead to an expansive limestone veranda that can be used for a cocktail hour. This impressive estate was built in 1919 by textile mogul Joseph Separk. He lived in the mansion with his wife and son during the 1920s. In 2012 it underwent complete renovation and is currently one of the most popular locations for ceremonies and receptions. The mansion is part of the York Chester Historic District and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Working with Separk was super easy from start to finish. We had Hannah as our wedding coordinator and she did a great job with creating and sticking to the timeline. She also did great at setting up our decor items and some flowers we brought to the venue. She was very communicative with us and our bridal party/family so that everyone knew what was expected from them for the ceremony. Overall we had a great experience with Separk and had the most perfect wedding thanks to them!

She had a list of questions to help with the planning process, helped us understand their packages and make adjustments as we needed, and answered all of my emails with random thoughts. The venue set everything up for us and took a huge chunk of our to do list off of our plate! Jen and Martin were fantastic as well at our rehearsal dinner and wedding day making sure everything went off without a hitch. I hosted my reception at the Loft on Bayshore and it was an amazing experience! Just a 10-minute ride from the church where we hosted our ceremony, which made commuting very easy for us and our guests. Outside there was plenty of parking for the guests, and the greenery around the venue made it a wonderful spot to take photos! Inside, the venue is large, and divided perfectly into a dinning area and a bar/dancing area. Bathrooms are well decorated and spacious, and the staff was super nice and helpful. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place for your dream wedding!

The Venue Fort Lauderdale exceeded our expectations for our 11/20/2020 wedding at every level! Brett & Roby took over our event 5 weeks out & the space was breathtaking. Not going to lie, I was that bride who had a hard time explaining what I liked & I have no creative mind for design which can be difficult for organizing a huge event but.. THEY ABSOLUTELY NAILED IT! From their amazing lighting & sound system to their attention to detail & ability to collaborate with our vendors, it was flawless. Everyone loved the cocktail hour & reception food.. it was truly top notch & delicious! Drinks flowed all night & the service was impeccable! I thought after our ceremony my tears were done, but as they brought us into the ballroom for a peek during cocktail hour I was speechless. Both Roby & Brett checked on us all night to ensure we had everything we needed which made both of our families feel like royalty. Anything we might have needed, they delivered with an even more special touch! We can not thank you two enough for the best night of our lives & we can’t wait to work with you again in the future! Our country band was hired by Sarah at Zola for a series of musical performances during the summer of 2020. All communications were clear and concise. Payment for services was fair and prompt. As this was during the Covid pandemic, we had multiple conversations regarding the safety of both the performers and the guests and all of our concerns were taken very seriously. Sarah was a pleasure to work with and we hope to be able to work future events together

I cannot rate Vinewood Stables higher! From the decision process, through the planning, through our special day: Vinewood was an absolute pleasure to work with! We booked Vinewood for our wedding. I worked with Diane and Kia and could not have asked for better people to work with. Diane did a fantastic job capturing what I wanted for my wedding and advising me all along the process. Kia was the BEST day of coordinator - making sure everything was taken care of with grace. For those looking for a venue: Vinewood handles almost everything! We had to get the photographer and music (with their help honestly for music) and they handled everything else. I cannot recommend them enough for women like me: who work crazy hours and needed partners / a professional company to plan and coordinate a wedding that captures my and my husband's love. They have it down to a science and created the most amazing wedding. We are still getting compliments from our friends and family who joined us on our special day. Saint Clements Castle provided a beautiful venue and kind staff for our wedding day. We especially appreciated our sales coordinator, Alyssa, who was professional, fast, and clear in her communication throughout the planning process. When rain forced us to move the ceremony indoors, the team quickly adapted the art gallery for us. The servers and bridal attendants were also attentive and went above and beyond to help finish set up when our florist left early. Our guests had incredibly kind things to say about the servers, and overall we had a great experience. It was also lovely to have a place that was a one stop shop for event planning! We did lose some decor in the shuffle which was an inconvenience, and some of the instructions for set up I left were not followed (our confetti got lost, only four guests got packets, the bridal suites did not have the supplies we left for them). My husband’s family were also really upset with one of the managers on property who wouldn’t allow them to walk in a covered area and was a bit rude about it, despite an event not happening and the rain being a torrential downpour causing unsafe conditions for his elderly family to walk in. Overall we had a great experience, and would recommend the castle to anyone planning a wedding!

Paniolo Ranch was a spetacular, private venue that was perfect for our intimate wedding! Judy went above and beyond to make suds everything was perfect on our special day. We had a small wedding of 20 guests; however, Paniolo has the capability of doing much larger weddings as well! I can not wait to come back for our 1 year anniversary!!!

We chose Le Meridien Columbus for both our ceremony and reception. This was the best decision we made for our wedding. In the heart of the Short North, the location is unbeatable. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous and offered our guests an excellent and upscale stay for the weekend. As the bride, my group got ready in the presidential suite, which I highly recommend. This gave us (and especially the hair & makeup teams) enough space to get ready for the day. The hotel is connected to The Guild House, so they provide all of the food for the wedding reception. The food was top tier. You have plenty of menu options to select from and you can customize the experience as much as you want. We loved it because we were all in one location and this made the timeline such a breeze. Last, the Catering Sales Mgr. Sheri was our #1 help through it all. You meet with her and the team a number of times throughout the planning process. She was so helpful and communicative with us through everything. I have photographed multiple weddings at The Barn at Silverstone, and it is by far one of my favorite venues to work at! Longshadow Ranch Winery was a beautiful venue for our wedding day. For the price, you can't beat the lush location that allowed us to fully customize the event to our liking without the venue dictating how our special day would flow. Dave was amazing to work with throughout the planning process and really made us feel we had the freedom to craft the wedding of our dreams. The only hiccups were some communication issues with the office staff in the final two months leading up to the big day regarding payments and contract details. While delayed, after contacting Dave on this matter, we did eventually get responses to email inquiries but a phone call option would have been preferred for timely resolutions. Overall, it was a beautiful venue and great value, we just wish the communication was more consistent in those important final weeks. Everything was 5 stars, unfortunately the communication, which I value a great deal, was the only lacking quality. Which, if this is the only area to improve, I think this speaks to the overall quality of the venue. Note: I would give 4.5 if I could!

Where to even begin! When we found this venue, I would say that my husband and I had already toured over 10 other venues before Bella Collina and we had seen a few others that we had liked but none that we were set on that had quite the “wow” factor that Bella Collina has! We were actually just looking through venues and Bella Collina popped up and we read all the reviews and saw the awesome ratings and knew we had to check it out! From the moment we drove up the driveway and set eyes on the venue and the scenery. I knew without a doubt this would be where we would be getting married. The location is just so beautiful and the mansion is exquisite. It was perfect! Erin gave us a tour of the mansion and we instantly fell in love with everything that day. She was super friendly and answered all our questions! My husband and I both agreed that day that it was where we wanted to get married. We soon met the venue owner, Joe, and happily secured our date! Joe and Erin are both super friendly and easy to communicate with. My husband and I were super impressed with how everything was set up and how easily it is to get things scheduled with them. Their communication with us was spot on! They are so easy to work with. Something we really enjoyed was something called “Day of Interviews” where we got to come in and meet some of Bellas preferred vendors and then pick the ones we would like to work with. This helped take away a lot of the stress that lots of other engaged couples have to go through with finding vendors separately. Since our wedding ceremony was planned to be outdoors by the lake, when it came down to the last couple of days before our wedding and we had to make a decision about whether to move the ceremony inside or not because of the weather. Joe was absolutely amazing at making sure that we still got to have our dream wedding by watching the weather and helping us plan accordingly down to the last couple of hours! :) We got to have our first dance out on the balcony overlooking our guests out on the patio, which was breathtaking! From the moment we toured Dell-Lea Toutou and her husband swept us off our feet. They take so much pride and pleasure into making sure your day is perfect. First off their venue is STUNNING. We knew from the start that to ensure the most important day of our lives went off without a hitch there was no one but CT Wedding Group we trusted. My husband and I got married at the Barn on the Pemi on 5/31/24, which works closely with the Common Man Inn & Spa. We had our room block, rehearsal dinner, and after party at the Inn, but I'm here to rave about our experience with the Spa! After booking our venue, I spoke to the Inn about any accommodations or recommendations they might have for somewhere for myself and my bridesmaids to get ready the morning of the wedding. They actually have what they affectionately call the "Getting Ready Room," which can be reserved ahead of time. I saw some pictures, saw that the room had some nice natural light, floor to ceiling mirrors and salon chairs, so I figured it was our best bet. Come wedding week and I went down to the spa with my bridesmaid to see the room and the pictures definitely did not do it justice! The room is large with a sitting area with a couch, table and chairs in the middle and salon-style chairs and mirrors around the perimeter. Our hair and makeup stylists were THRILLED with the setup, since they are used to cramped, poorly-lit hotel rooms for wedding prep! I will let the pictures speak for themselves, but want to add one more thing. The night before the wedding, one of my nails (done at a salon back home) broke and popped off - nightmare! I kept the broken piece and brought it to the Spa the morning of the wedding to see if they could help. The Spa staff went above and beyond to make sure my nails looked perfect. One of their nail techs sat in front of my while I was having my makeup done, glued the nail piece back on, and put a top layer of the. white french tip and clear coat shellac over all of my nails to make sure they all looked the same. I would highly recommend the Spa Getting Ready Room for the morning of your wedding - the space and the staff are fantastic!

The RoseMary is the perfect clean slate! I wanted a very modern style wedding, but with a country feel and this was perfect! I did the all-inclusive package that came with all my vendors and not only did it make everything so stress free, but it saved me a lot of money too! I could not recommend this venue enough!

Family owned since 1931, Red Gate Farms is just 6 miles from historic downtown Savannah. Offering an authentic Barn venue and an industrial venue, The Grainery. The Barn holds up to 150 guests and The Grainery up to 200. The Belle Tower is a Southern home in the middle of the farm. It included with the Grainery as dressing rooms for weddings. The Ruby Cora is an amazing venue! Marcia and her team went above and beyond for us. We rented the space for 2 days over Memorial weekend. I highly recommend a 2 day rental. It made things so much easier and reduced stress significantly. It allowed more time for our family and friends to hang out and see each other during set up and tear down. We had family and friends come from 16 different states and other countries. Marcia and her team made us feel at home and helped make the weekend magical! The weather was beautiful for the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner, but the weather took a nasty turn the morning of the wedding. We lost power 1st thing that morning. The power remained off until about 5 minutes before the ceremony. Marcia and her team got us to a place with power to get ready and jumped in to make the changes from an outdoor to indoor ceremony. The weather cleared up for the ceremony and reception, and everything was more than I could ever dream. My guests did not even suspect the challenges we faced with the inclement weather. I am still getting calls about how amazing the weekend was and how much they loved the venue! If you want to find a place that makes you feel like family and cares about making your day magical, the Ruby Cora is the place for you!

Our initial meeting with the venue was honestly not a great experience. Being from TN we made a very short trip (Friday night- Sunday) to visit The Scott and had a showing scheduled for Saturday morning with Fran. She never showed and it took about an hour to get in touch with her. All we got was a half sorry and “I put it on a different day and I won’t be in today”. Luckily we were able to make it the next morning before flying back out. I loved the venue so much I decided to still move forward knowing I wouldn’t have to be working with her throughout the rest of the process. She was terrible at responding, it was clear she only cared about making a sale, and so much in my contract was incorrect. I worked with Barbara and Desirae once the contract was signed and they both were absolutely AMAZING. They responded so quickly and were so so helpful with any questions I had. We really had the most perfect day and a great experience after the initial interactions. I’m giving 5 stars for Barbara and Desirae!!! If you get Fran from sales ask for someone else!

How much do wedding & reception venues cost?

The cost of wedding venues varies, with factors influencing cost including size, location, guest count, and, most importantly, whether things like catering and rentals are included. The more a reception venue near you includes, the higher the cost. When considering venues, try to compare prices apples-to-apples. If one venue includes catering and rentals in their pricing and the other doesn’t, you need to figure out how much additional cost those outside vendors would be to make a true comparison. Before booking, be sure you’re aware of additional costs outlined in your contract, like parking fees and weather-related considerations (adding a tent, etc.).

What questions should we ask wedding venues?

When talking with a potential venue, always ask about 1) their availability and 2) their capacity.
