Africa Event Center

Overlooking our breathtaking and award-winning Heart of Africa region, the Africa Event Center offers the most unique event space in Central Ohio.

Situated in the Heart of Africa region, this venue is removed from the public and comes with its own private parking lot. The Africa Event Center offers the option for both ceremony ($500 fee) and reception to be hosted on site, has an outdoor private viewing deck and is climate controlled. This location does include a bridal suite during the rental time.

    When we toured the venue, this location was so beautiful and checked off every box for us, but what really sold us was the staff and Kaylie, our wedding day coordinator, who were all so helpful in making our big day a reality. They have some amazing vendors that frequent and already have a great relationship with the zoo that made the day run with ease, and to top it all off have animals and a giraffe feeding during cocktail hour was a hit. So many of our guests made a point to mention how great of a time they had, some saying it was the most fun wedding they had ever been to. Thank you so much to the Columbus Zoo events crew for memories of a lifetime.

    We cannot give enough stars for the overall experience! The coordinator and staff made us feel truly valued and cared for. They helped curate a day that will be remembered by us and so many of our guests. Getting married at the zoo is absolutely the most amazing experience!
