Lindsay with Mostest was AMAZING! She helped us tremendously when the event planner for the Charleston Princess quit just a few weeks before my daughter’s wedding. There were many obstacles to navigate including not being able to board the vessel to set up and decorate until 2 hours before guests would begin boarding. Lindsay single handedly transported a car load of personalized details, decorations, party favors, bar items, extra linens, numerous picture frames and a huge Charleston Harbor nautical chart that served as the guest book. She had to take several trips from her car down a very long pier to get to the boat and set it all up in such a short time span. She managed it all beautifully! The timeline she created was amazing and we were actually a bit ahead of schedule prior to the ceremony. This gave us all some time to relax while sweet Lindsay was preparing for all of our guests to arrive. After the reception, Lindsay stayed on board and began packing up all of our special items carefully. We returned to the vessel after sending the bride and groom off, to find that she had managed to pack most of our items without our help. I can’t say enough about all that she did for us, especially with all of the hiccups and stresses we faced the last few weeks. She handled everything with such grace and poise! This MOB was quite stressed with the adversity we were facing that was out of our control and Lindsay smoothed everything out!! I can’t say enough about her!! Where do I begin! I don't think I could write down everything amazing that Oasis did for me in one review. I was personally going through so many life changes and I could not have had my dream wedding without them. The team was extremely prepared for every step of the process and handled the hurdles with grace. The way they dotted their "I" and crossed their "t" with everything on my laundry list of needs was astounding. I had lots of unique visions I wanted for my wedding that Oasis had never worked with before and they handled every new encounter seamlessly. For instance, we had Spanish translation for our guest and their was absolutely no issues. We also got several vendor discounts through Oasis. My main planner was Jewell and her communication was excellent. On the wedding day she brought the whole Oasis team and I didn't have to deal with any planning issues on the day of the wedding. My husband and I were well taken care of. Jewell sacrificed so much for us. She did all the flower arranging (except the bouquets) and her taste in design is impressive and it was such a life saver. I am very happy with everything Oasis offered me. My husband and I both agree that their was no need unmet by Oasis. Thank you SOSOSOSO much Jewell. Hiring Hannah and her AMAZING team was hands down the best decision I made as a bride! From Day 1, Hannah was caring, responsive, personable and VERY organized! They guided me and the bridal party whenever we needed direction (and we needed a lot!) and lovingly advised me when I just couldn’t bear to make another decision. There was absolutely nothing that they weren’t willing to do; they made sure I didn’t get wet when the skies opened up as soon as we got to the church and even bustled my wedding gown at the reception!! Wendy turned what could've been a disaster into a dream wedding! We made the mistake of thinking we could plan our own wedding, and booked a venue on our own. We quickly got overwhelmed with everything else and hired Wendy; she took one look at our venue contract and advised us to reconsider -- we were going to double or triple our total budget by bringing in all the amenities that the venue *didn't* have. With only 3.5 months before The Big Day, we had to pivot! She used her vast contact list and knowledge of area venues to find us the perfect venue - we viewed it and contracted it within the week. We had a lot of unique elements in mind; she helped us retrofit them from the original venue into the new one, so we were still able to have the wedding we'd always imagined. No idea was too big or too wild; she was always confident it could be done. She responded within minutes to any communication, no matter the day or time. Her years of experience shown through -- she always was able to advise us or provide a solution. And with such a short timeline to pull everything together, she kept us on track and honest without adding to our anxiety, remaining positive and helping us keep the end goal in mind: OUR day! WOW! I can not say enough on how appreciative I am of Bari and Antonia. A month before my wedding I realized I desperately needed Day of Coordinators. Bari and Antonia were so responsive and assuring. They took on my wedding with such grace. No request of mine was too much. They travelled all the way to Jersey City from Philly and were so accomodating. They spent time with all our vendors on the day of the wedding, helping set up with the florist and some of my DIY decor. They made sure my ceremony procession ran smoothly. They made sure all the little details were taken care of. The night of my wedding, the only thought I had was to have a good time, and thats because Bari and Antonia did the rest. I genuinely cannot emphasize enough how incredible Abby was. If you’re looking for a coordinator, this is your girl!! I booked Abby for her day of coordinator services and I added on an extra to help me with my room block and transportation. I would do it a million times over!! Abby executed my vision perfectly, and my wedding day was flawless because of her. Hi! I'm Merida, owner of- you guessed it Events By Merida. Weddings to me are meant to be fun. It's a celebration of the two of you with the important people in your life, and there are no rules about how that's supposed to happen (even officiants can be optional in some states).

If you gave me a million characters in this text box I still wouldn't be able to express just how grateful I am to Merida and her team. My husband and I have been together for over two decades and had already spent an enormous amount of time thinking about our wedding over the years, but after coming out as a trans man in 2019, I quickly realized that planning a gay wedding would involve additional challenges I hadn't considered. The thought of reaching out to vendors and getting misgendered as the "bride" over and over was an incredibly anxiety-inducing prospect. I knew we needed help from someone who understood our situation and would ensure we were both treated respectfully by an incredibly cis-heteronormative industry. From the moment I engaged her, about a year before our wedding date, I knew that I'd made the right call. As a member of the community herself, Merida was my biggest advocate and fiercest champion. Her zero-tolerance policy of anyone who showed signs of homo/transphobia weeded out any problematic businesses and in just a few months she was able to book us an almost entirely queer team of vendors, all of whom did a spectacular job on the big day. I've never been so thankful to have someone like her in my corner. Each and every call with Merida was an absolute delight. Not only is she an incredible wedding/event planner, but she is one of the most delightful people I've ever had the pleasure to meet. She is brilliant, thoughtful, and hilarious, putting you instantly at ease. No matter how nerdy or esoteric our ideas, Merida was here for it and helped us bring every little detail to life. Anytime I said the words "I know this is kind of crazy but could we possibly..." she would listen attentively, smile, and reply with "We can do that." Week after week things I thought would be impossible came together and fell perfectly into place. On the day of the event (04/07/24), Merida and her team were like a SpecialOps team, complete with a full arsenal of emergency supplies the likes of which you've never seen. She kept us on schedule but never rushed us, leaving time for spontaneity; for every minor question or concern she had a plan, not one detail was overlooked. The wedding itself was absolutely perfect. I cannot stress this enough. It was PERFECT. It was everything my husband and I had ever dreamed of since we were 15 years old. Thanks to Merida there was not a single thing we had to compromise on for the sake of someone else, there was not a single bad vibe, it was truly the most beautiful, entertaining, and triumphant celebration of queer love any of us had ever experienced. I was genuinely concerned my face would break from smiling with euphoria all day. It's been over a month now and I'm getting emotional all over again just writing this review. I never thought I would be able to be my whole entire self on my wedding day. Thank you, Merida for turning my gay little anime prince dreams into reality. Andree Collective did day-of-coordination for our wedding in October 2024. I’ll admit we felt like we had a pretty simple wedding already and were worried DOC would be excessive, but we took everyone’s advice and hired the day-of-coordinator anyway. Frankly, it was an easy decision to hire them given they’re a social enterprise (the opportunity to deploy a budget for a bigger purpose? I’m sold). Ultimately, we could not imagine our day without their help. We did a lot of DIY on our wedding and had our friends & family step up in some big ways so not only did Andree Collective help ease our stress on our wedding day, they went above and beyond making sure that our friends and families who had roles to play in our day were also comfortable and ready for the day. In addition, besides being incredibly helpful and thoughtful to us (B&G), even our families commented on how much easier and stress-free the day was, because we had Andree Collective around to help make sure everything went smoothly. Just to call out a few of the invaluable tasks they helped with: pre-planning to make sure we were on track in the month leading up to the day by creating the Day-Of-Timeline and doing all the legwork of finalizing details with vendors, showing up early on the Day-Of to make sure everything was situated and set up properly, helping corral family and friends to where they need to be for photos and just generally answering questions so that we didn't have too, helping to herd the cats to their dinner tables, and keeping tabs on what was going on throughout the event and reporting back so that we knew what was going on, but already working on a solution (like when we couldn't find the spare trash bags at the venue!). I could go on, but honestly, consider hiring a DOC and especially consider hiring a DOC who is giving back to the community. Andree Collective was truly are worth every single penny. It is your big day, you deserve to feel like a guest of honor at your party, not a host.

Next to marrying each other, hiring DPNAK was by far the BEST wedding decision we made. My wedding was 2 months ago, and as I reflect on the planning process and the wedding weekend itself, I can assuredly say Danielle was worth every penny and then some. I do not know how anyone could stay sane during the planning process or enjoy a seamless wedding day without someone like Danielle. I'm a pretty type B person who has never utilized a calendar/planner/spreadsheet in my life, and I'm also a surgical resident with crazy hours and an unpredictable schedule. EVERY TYPE B BRIDE NEEDS A DPNAK! While her organizational abilities and attention to detail are very impressive, she won't judge you or get frustrated if your own organization skills aren't as strong. There were times when it would take days or weeks for us to respond to an email, and occasionally we would get behind schedule with various planning tasks (our own fault not Danielle's), and instead of getting frustrated with us, she would just send gentle reminders and tips on how to prioritize what we needed to accomplish. DPNAK is also very good at sharing her own opinions/experience-based recommendations without forcing them on you or making you feel dumb if you choose something else. We ultimately did go with Danielle's suggestions 90% of the time, but for the couple of things we did "our way," she happily supported us and helped us execute them perfectly. Danielle was amazing when it came to vendor and venue communication, and multiple vendors commented on how helpful, thorough, and professional all of her communication was. At the rehearsal and on the wedding day, her communication style was the perfect blend of friendly/gentle/funny and firm/assertive. She can seamlessly capture the attention/respect of a room full of people while maintaining a sense of peace/positivity that never made it feel like we were being "bossed around" etc. NOTHING WENT WRONG on my wedding day -- I REPEAT -- NOTHING WENT WRONG!!!!??? Some of that is obviously good luck, but I really truly believe a TON of that is because of the DPNAK team. Everyone warns you that your wedding day will be chaotic or that something will go wrong and you're going to be an anxious mess etc. etc. but we truly had a sense of peace and calmness the entire day knowing that everything would flow seamlessly because of Danielle. Danielle also told us that if anything did go wrong or needed last-minute changes, her team would try to handle it without bothering us, and being protected from any day-of decision-making or damage control was amazing. This is the longest review I have ever written, and I could truly write for ages about our amazing experience with Danielle. Our parents and multiple members of the wedding party commented on how smoothly she ran the wedding weekend and how natural it all seemed for her -- Danielle definitely found her calling. On the wedding day, we tipped Danielle and her team per the standard wedding vendor tip protocols, but we were so blown away by their services that I requested the option to send an additional tip weeks later -- I knew DPNAK was the right choice as soon as our first Zoom meeting ended, and I knew she was amazing throughout the planning process, but her true value really revealed itself on the wedding day and I never could have predicted just how precious her services would be. She is worth every penny and more. Love and miss you DPNAK!!

Tara and her team are nothing short of incredible. We approached her in the fall with the crazy idea to throw a music festival wedding at the end of June at a riverside park- where we needed her to coordinate 3 bands AND bring in everything from restroom trailers to a food truck to mobile bartending. Not only did she rise to the challenge, but the day was more perfect than we could have ever imagined. She had a plan (and back-up plan!) for everything, and she coordinated with no less than 15 vendors to make sure that we didn’t have to worry about a thing during the wedding. She had a ton of local vendor suggestions, as well, for everything from flowers to misting fans. On top of that, she is a truly lovely human who was a JOY to work with. Many wedding guests even commented to me on how wonderful she is! If you are looking for the perfect balance of love and logistics- you will be thrilled with Engaged Event Management!

Hiring Planned Perfection for partial wedding planning services and working with Danielle was the best decision we made! We had an intimate wedding of around 35 people My husband and I both agree that a wedding planner was still needed and worth it! We needed a smaller venue, and we wouldn’t have known our venue existed without Danielle! Danielle took all my worries away! We knew what we wanted our day to look and feel like, but we were not so great at the implementing part. Danielle was able to guide us through the process seamlessly! She was super responsive and answered all of my million questions! I am not the best with visualizing how a space would look, how many florals would be needed, and color scheme. Danielle has an eye for this, and was crucial in making our day look how we dreamed! On the day of the wedding, I was able to relax! Danielle took care of EVERYTHING. The weather was a little bit iffy in the morning, and she let me know not to worry and she would make the call if the wedding needed to be moved indoors. Our family commented on how well the day flowed and how Danielle had everything under control! If you are on the fence of hiring a wedding planner, DO IT. I highly recommend Danielle and Planned Perfection!

I am BEYOND happy with my experience working with Rachel and the Day One team. I was feeling extremely overwhelmed with wedding planning, especially the design aspects of it. After one meeting with Rachel, not only did I feel comforted, but I also felt excited. She exhibited the perfect combination of expertise and enthusiasm. She read my mind and made things I could only barely conceptualize into a reality. My wedding was the boho barn style event of my dreams thanks to Rachel's incredible eye and style. Most importantly tho, during the actual wedding, I felt like a participant rather than just a host. I hear all these stories of the bride not remembering their wedding day because they were so overwhelmed by the chaos. I didn't feel that way at all. What I remember is spending quality time with my guests and my husband, dancing the night away, and actually eating the food! Kristen was amazing to work with! From our very first conversation, I felt at ease knowing Kristen was on my wedding planning team leading the month-of coordination and day-of logistics. Part of my profession is to plan events for big crowds, so I know how much work it takes, and Kristen and her team knocked it out of the park - I fully trusted her with every question, task and conflict I had. Kristen and her team tackled a tricky pick-up and drop-off shuttle schedule, set up an amazing cocktail hour and reception, and ensured everything was going smoothly - from sticking to our timeline to making sure my now husband and I were taken care of all night with food and drinks (among MANY other things)!
