Woodzi began her artistic career studying classical painting at Tyler School of Art, but the COVID-19 pandemic shifted her focus to community and connection. She began organizing local events in South Philadelphia, including block parties, fundraisers, and weddings, which deepened her appreciation for shared experiences. Now, as an event coordinator by day and artist by night, Woodzi uses her creativity to inspire and uplift communities, aiming to leave every space better than she found it through collaboration and positivity.

    Woodzi is a gem!

    Woodzi was an absolute delight to work with. She helped us navigate a multi-day wedding, a last-minute venue change, and the usual day-of chaos. Woodzi kept us organized and stress-free throughout the entire process. 10/10 would highly recommend her as a wedding planner. She is a true professional.

    The perfect wedding coordinator

    My partner and I were shopping around for wedding coordinators ready to meet some pretty challenging constraints: a very tight budget, a pretty large guest count, a 3 day celebration, and a huge number of room flips to meet the different components of our ceremonies. Woodzi not only rose to the occasion, with excitement and aplomb, but delivered on all fronts beyond what we could have imagined. She took our floor plans (which were, perhaps, unreasonable) and rather than contort our vision to something more pragmatic, found creative ways to execute on the ideas we had, building out a space that could be flipped upwards of 3 times in a single day, hosting the maximum number of people our venue could allow, and still having space for a sizable dance floor. Working with our many friends who were keen to volunteer, she was able to delegate tasks with true expediency, finding ways to string hundreds of feet of lights and chiffon from the ceiling, building out a makeshift stage, and making the dinner settings so unique the space felt new every time people walked in. Working with a the large number of vendors we had, she took on all the coordination of our meals and service staff, so much so the point person that I'm not sure a single logistical ask was made of myself or my partner the whole weekend. Beyond all of this, Woodzi answered these magnificent asks with a kindness and generosity that never left us feeling stressed or frenzied. We really couldn't have asked for more; an indubitably competent individual who made our weekend a remarkable success.

    A fast thinking, problem-solving queen

    You would never know that I only knew Woodzi for a few brief weeks before we met to start throwing all of my wedding plans into action, she acts like an old friend. She knew every question we had before we asked it, she was quick on her feet with problem solving, she was truly an all star on our wedding day. She created our wedding timeline on a massive chalkboard and even incorporated the designs we had on our wedding sign. My husband and I are so thankful to have had Woodzi there for us on such an important day in our lives, she took care of everything and we didn't need to stress about a thing. I wish we could have another wedding just so we could hire her again. (She is also very funny and had us giggling)

    WOODZI IS THE BEST 333

    Woodzi made our whirlwind of a DIY wedding manageable, seamless, joyous, fun, and authentic. Without her things would have certainly been a mess. She kept everyone on schedule and was detail-oriented in ways I can't even dream. Throughout our entire time collaborating, she was professional, dedicated, lighthearted, supportive, communicative, reliable, and clear in all she did.     I truly can't say enough good things about working with Woodzi — she was so helpful in the weeks leading up to our wedding, coordinated seamlessly with our vendors, and made sure everything ran smoothly that day so we could focus on the celebration. Her chalkboard art was also excellent and really contributed to the atmosphere at our venue. Woodzi is a rock star and I can highly recommend booking her for your wedding or event!

Month of/Day of, Partial planning, and Full service planning all include Bi weekly meetings until 6 weeks from your wedding where we start to meet once a week.
