I'm someone who would rather learn all about you, and get to know you on a deeper level. I'm originally from Cuba, I was born there, and by the age of 5, my parents and I moved to Mexico. I lived in Mexico for 7 years only to find out I was unhappy living there! In 2008, my mom, grandma, and I moved to Connecticut, and I began a whole new chapter in my life! I'm a firm believer that things happen for a reason, and everything will eventually fall into place with just a little bit of hope and optimism!

I started off in birth photography and maternity shoots. I got asked to be a backup photographer for 2 weddings and fell so far in love with wedding and engagement photography, I had to add packages. I had so much fun and ended up making some great friendships doing so.

The captivating art of photography has always fascinated me, and its ability to transcend language barriers and unite people on a deeper level is truly remarkable. Photography is my way of telling unique stories of love and connection. Hi! I'm Katie, an East Coast & Destination Wedding Photographer, based in Washington D.C. After taking a high-school photography class–it quickly became clear that I loved the art of photography. Soon after graduating, I was offered an internship position near Chicago that allowed me to continue to dive into the world of studio lighting, image editing, and commercial photography; continuing to hone on the technical skills that often get left behind when you have the digital screen to instantly see your work.
