I’m Vanessa, a Gaithersburg, MD-based couple + wedding photographer for the wildly in-love. My life was changed by love. Seriously, rocked, rumbled, wrecked, repeat. Okay, it might sound dramatic, but my relationship with my now-husband has truly changed my world and soul for the better. We were lil baby high school sweethearts turned long distance when my husband joined the Marine Corps, and our journey together means absolutely everything to me. I know yours does too, and getting to capture it is the hugest joy and honor.

If there’s anything you need to know about me, it’s that your love story means the world to me. Yes, YOURS. It may look way different than mine, and that’s what makes it SO special. There is so much more to your love story than what is seen on surface level—so many trials and tribulations of life that have strengthened and challenged you to be the couple you are today. I know that joy, and I want to capture it—the joy of knowing that through love, you have grown and blossomed together into something unimaginably beautiful. I am so excited to capture it together. Vanessa was fantastic! Start to finish, she was so committed to making sure she captured our wedding how we wanted. She is fun and easygoing, which made working with her a breeze. Amongst the chaos of a wedding day, it’s so important to have a photographer who is cool, calm, and collected. Vanessa and Patrick were both dedicated to capturing the planned photos (diligently checking off each photo in a shot list) and unplanned candids throughout the night. Thank you Vanessa!
