Kanayo Adibe
A Washington DC area (Maryland, Virginia) and destination wedding and lifestyle photographer. My approach to photography is extremely artistic, photojournalistic and arguably cinematic. With every shot I take I’m constantly thinking of new ways to creatively tell your story using unconventional techniques and unique angles, while creating that captivating feeling of presence when viewing your photos. My goal is to preserve your special moments by creating romantic, yet visually striking imagery to be enjoyed for years to come.

A truly gifted photographer!
As a portrait photographer I had been following Kanayo’s work because it’s artistic, unique and different. I teased that I would get married again just to have him photograph it. Well he said do a vow renewal and sure enough that’s what we did. There was no question or shopping around for us, Kanayo would be our photographer. We made the right decision! His images are just amazing, and eveytime we look at them it’s like we are living in that exact space and time. He captured so much that tells our story, expressing the emotions, the joy and the love on that day. He goes above and beyond to get the shot, yet he is not intrusive. He is kind and very patient yet in control. He is a master photographer! I highly recommend Kanayo for your photographs. We were not disappointed and you won’t be either.
