The Tony & Helen Morris Hellenic Cultural Center (The MHCC) is a beautifully appointed Asheville Event Venue located within 5 minutes of downtown in the historic Montford District, with wide streets and a canopy of trees. Homewood, a special event venue in Asheville, NC, is an ideal destination for rehearsal dinners, weddings, receptions, and gatherings. Homewood is a beautifully restored 1920s stone manor located in Asheville's post-Victorian historic district of Montford. The elegant castle was originally built as a private home. The elegance of the 1920s luminesces from original wrought iron chandeliers and alabaster sconces, casting graceful lighting from the 20-foot ceilings of the Great Room to the original hardwood floors, cherry walls, and grand Appalachian stone fireplaces. Conveniently located within a mile of downtown Asheville, Homewood offers 200 free, designated parking spaces, and is located in a neighborhood setting. Appalachian View provides stunning eastern and western views of the Blue Ridge Mountains from the south side of Sugar Mountain. As natives to North Carolina and these mountains, Cathy and Dale Buchanan have enjoyed this area for years - a cabin, time with family and friends, hiking the Appalachian Trail... Here we have hosted weddings for special people in our lives. Consequently, we decided to build on these 75 acres a venue to be able to share this beautiful location with others. We think this is the quintessential place to start your lives together, and are very excited to be able host your wedding ceremony and precious memories.

In 1929, Jean-Pierre Auguste Dalmas, a Waldensian immigrant from Villar Pellice, Italy, started construction on the dairy barn on his property in Valdese, NC. After the barn had been completed, work began on the main house. He built a rock veneered masterpiece, large enough to house his 7 children. He cleared a field for a vineyard and until his death in 1972 (at the age of 92), he made wine in the basement of the main house every autumn.

Uptown Indigo is a family owned and operated venue with two floors and a breathtaking rooftop terrace. The design is "chic industrial" with lots of artistic details. From the original tin ceilings to the handmade tiles, Uptown Indigo is a truly unique wedding venue. The venue can accommodate up to 220 seated guests, with the largest space being the 6,000 square foot Indigo Ballroom. This ballroom is characterized by its modern light fixtures combined with original historic elements. It is fully accessible with a vintage elevator and large, elegant bathrooms. The Steeples Event Space is on the top floor, complete with a prohibition-era, rustic space for cocktail hours or smaller ceremonies. The detailed tile ceilings along with the warm lighting give the space a romantic, yet fun feel.
