Asheville's first craft brewery boasts two unique venues with polished, industrial chic vibes beckoning you to host your friends and family for an unforgettable event. For up to 200 guests, invite them to our Rooftop with gorgeous mountain views for your ceremony. Linger with your guests and enjoy the scenery during cocktail hour. Venture downstairs and enjoy your reception in our Event Center. For up to 100 guests, our Barrel Room is the perfect, intimate space for your ceremony and reception with live hanging greenery from skylights, a barrel stave bar and a front porch to enjoy drinks with friends.

The most memorable experience you can give your guests at Asheville's first craft brewery.

This venue is ideal for weddings, rehearsal dinners and welcome parties of up to 100 guests. Posh without being stuffy‚ casual yet intimate – the Barrel Room features racks of barrels aging our beer‚ skylights‚ show-stopping live hanging plants‚ private 'front porch' patio‚ and a bar with barrel stave accents overlooking our sour and beer production area.

I am a local wedding planner who has been in the business for about 10 years. It has been a joy to watch Highland's event space come into the event world and take it by storm! We've been working with this venue since they opened and it's been seamless. It represents Asheville at it's best. Beer and views what more can you ask for?! Their team cares about their clients and their vendors and it shows. We ADORE working at this venue:)

I cannot recommend Highland Brewing enough! Every space is so gorgeous and customizable. We used all the spaces available and we loved being able to move our guests from space to space throughout the night . The rooftop has gorgeous mountain views and the barrel room was a dream for me with plants hanging from the ceiling! The staff was SO welcoming from the beginning and made the experience so easy. We felt so at ease working with them. Great communication, super helpful and willing to work with our ideas and make them happen! Thank you Highland for going above and beyond to make our day so magical!! We can’t wait to come back and visit!

My husband and I got married here on April 21, 2023 and we truly couldn't have picked a better venue for our wedding and rehearsal dinner the night before. The staff, the alcohol, the rooftop for the ceremony, the barrel room and main reception room were all just incredible and everything went so seamlessly! We still have friends mentioning that it was the most fun wedding they have ever attended and we feel the same way! Also, the entire Highland team worked so easily with all of our vendors, it made it so nice for me on the day of to know that everything was taken care of. Plus, the beer and wine at Highland were a hit and everybody loved getting to try all of the craft beers. Can't recommend them enough and I wish I could do it all over just to relive that day in such a beautiful space.

We do not allow any outside alcohol other than what is to be served by a licensed bartender. You may bring in wine and it will be charged a $20 corkage fee. Liquor may be purchased for the Liquor Bar that a licensed bartender will serve. Please inquire regarding our current Liquor Bar Policies.

Yes, we have ample parking available onsite. We can also accommodate buses, trolleys, shuttles and ride share services.

Yes, all our facilities are wheelchair accessible. We also have a ramp at the main entrances, elevator access, hearing-impaired fire alarm lights, and trained staff.

Furniture Package (including setup and breakdown), dedicated Venue Coordinator, Bartenders, Audio/Visual Technician to work with your hired band/DJ to ensure light and sound quality, house sound system, Wedding Ceremony Rehearsal time (up to one hour the day before your event), Signature Small Batch Beer, Discounts on Highland Merchandise and access to rentable decor.

Your reservation includes seven hours of venue rental time for the Barrel Room (2 hours set up, 4 hours event time, 1 hour cleanup) or nine hours for the Rooftop + Event Center (3 hours set up, 5 hours event time, 1 hour cleanup). Additional time may be added in most cases. $500 for Event Center, $250 for Barrel Room.

Booking fees for our facilities, and all payments made including deposits, are non-refundable. If you cancel your event within 90 days of your booked date AND we are able to re-book the date, we may be able to refund a portion of monies paid.

Our venue is located 14 miles from Asheville Airport.

Yes. As the host of your event here at Highland, we do require that you purchase Event Insurance. It's a very easy process at a nominal cost.
