About this venue

Uptown Indigo is a family owned and operated venue with two floors and a breathtaking rooftop terrace. The design is "chic industrial" with lots of artistic details. From the original tin ceilings to the handmade tiles, Uptown Indigo is a truly unique wedding venue. The venue can accommodate up to 220 seated guests, with the largest space being the 6,000 square foot Indigo Ballroom. This ballroom is characterized by its modern light fixtures combined with original historic elements. It is fully accessible with a vintage elevator and large, elegant bathrooms. The Steeples Event Space is on the top floor, complete with a prohibition-era, rustic space for cocktail hours or smaller ceremonies. The detailed tile ceilings along with the warm lighting give the space a romantic, yet fun feel. Grand Ballroom with magnificent lighting and original tin ceiling tiles.

The Ballroom level has a large bar, spacious bathrooms, and a 6,000 square foot space with the original floors and the original tin ceiling. This level usually holds ceremonies and receptions. One side has antiqued mirrors while the other has windows showing the 1909 Gothic Revival church next door.

Elevator bellhop, pro-level sound systems and lights, arrangement service for in-house linens, all tables and chairs included with up to 8 tall cocktail tables, 20 6-foot round tables seating 10-12, 20 8-foot rectangular tables, and 220 champagne color Chiavari chairs, recommended floor plans, table and chair arrangement, general liability insurance, clean up, and consultation meetings. Other add-ons available upon request.

Perfection!! The venue is absolutely stunning. Duncan was a great host and very easy to get in touch with when we had questions. Great energy and made sure our wedding guests were taken care of at all times. Could not ask for a better experience!!

Our wedding at Uptown Indigo was perfect from start to finish. The facility is so much bigger than these photos suggest. My husband and I both feel that the level of service and attention to detail made the value of Uptown Indigo second to none. When we first went in for a tour, Duncan made us cocktails and spent more time with us than any other tour we had. The staff actually cared about us and we didn't just feel like a number. My favorite part was the bridal suite in the morning. They turned the whole top floor into the bridal suite and it felt like a movie when the elevator doors opened and we walked out and placed our dresses on the coat hanger. There was music playing, and mimosas set out. My mom started crying and then I started crying and I knew then that the day would be perfect. I highly recommend the Uptown Indigo venue/family and we am so thankful that we trusted our wedding day to them.

If your looking for a venue that is going to completely cater to your needs look no further. The entire goal of Uptown Indigo is to make their clients happy. As a vendor in this industry who does the same, I appreciate seeing that level of service. Highly recommend!

You will receive a Policies and Pricing packet on your tour. We have very competitive venue and alcohol pricing. Contact Duncan to book a tour.

We are willing to work with you, but a 25% deposit must be placed to secure your date and the event must be paid in full a week before the event.

A lot of venues have fees that are thrown at you after you lock in your date. We pride ourselves in our transparency and our family business built on trust. We include tables, chairs, sound system, microphone, lighting, and much more in our packages without nickel-and-diming you. Also, what other venue gives you the WHOLE day if you book a Saturday? Our quality and value is unmatched.

Yes - we have a vintage elevator that includes a bellhop for every event. We are completely ADA compliant.

Yup. While all of our preferred caterers are awesome, if you want to bring a different one, they must sign an agreement and you must pay an Outside Catering Fee based on your guest count.

Uptown Indigo has an in-house alcohol license, and your alcohol choices must be served through Uptown Indigo.

Parking is free and readily available. There are two public parking lots east of our building on Washington Street, and dozens of street parking spaces directly to the west of our building.

No. We believe that by maintaining our current time blocks, we can offer the best service and consistency. Additional hours are available to add to any package.

Just call us, or meet with us at the building. We require a 25% deposit to reserve your date. This is 25% of the total amount estimated in your contract. We accept all payment types.
