I’m Kate and I’m the lady on the other side of the lens. I’m a Charlotte, NC local who is always game to travel wherever my clients want to go! Lake Norman will forever be home to me, but adventure is always calling. I fell head over heels capturing weddings and the love between people (hello, huge softie here). My calling is bringing out the best in people and I look forward to sharing the day with you celebrating your love! It is my hope to become lifelong friends after sharing the day together.

My approach to each wedding is focused on the experience and connection. Every couple is different and I feel that your photos should represent what is most important to you. I take a timeless approach to my editing style and I've found a balance between light/airy and dark/moody. I always give suggestions on what to do with your hands, but also give my couples something to do in front of the camera to invoke natural emotions. You will catch me at weddings rocking a fanny pack, making people laugh on the other side of my camera, and celebrating you on the dance floor.
