I paid Elegant insight aka Rachel (owner) 1,000 to plan and execute wedding day preparations. My honest review is that I was not pleased with the service of planning or the execution. I would recommend Rachel to someone who's looking for a wedding in a box and has plenty of budget flexibility. Upon consultation Rachel agreed that my wedding was something she could do. As a planner she pushed her vendors , did not find better options for me and when asked she offered long checklist that put more burden than helped, she was unprepared for meetings and did not follow a majority of the responsibilities she was given. As coordinator / wedding day manager it looked like it was the first day she had ever done this job. She changed the timeline, did not communicate effectively with the vendors and even ignored instructions I gave her. I 100% planned/ planned my own layout and 99.9% coordinated/executed my wedding. I do not think she was professional and attentive in a effective way and that's putting it nicely. Her helper the day of my wedding was very nice and professional. In conclusion, Rachel and I were not a good fit.

We are sorry to hear all this. We did offer you two layout options and had open communication with all vendors before, during and after the event. We had the venue put out new chairs when it rained. We came early to stock the fridge with waters in your bridal and groom suite. We even got water for your dog. Since you have access to the timeline all changes were approved by you. Your guest came up to us after the event and told us we handled the rain very well, were calm and postive and she had a wonderful time. She asked for our card. We apologize for anything that was not satisfactory, but our heart is always to help all our clients in any way we can. We also took video for you because you did not have a videographer at your event.

Rachel did a great job preparing for a 6-hour event with 2 back to back parties. December is a tough month to schedule events, so we needed to roll a retirement party straight into a work Christmas party in one night. Rachel made sure that transition was seamless, and all her recommended vendors did a fantastic job! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed both parties, and it was so great to focus on being the hostess and not worry with any details or logistics. Rachel had everything covered!

Rachel Curtis and her team were the best! Our day was absolutely beautiful. It was seamless. I left everything in her hands, all I had to do was enjoy the day. She takes care of everything! I had no stress… she’s that good. We can’t thank her enough for her lovely, positive disposition and exceptional planning and execution skills.
