After seeing the property, its luscious landscape, and the rustic charm of the original buildings, Rick had a vision. He saw the property transformed into a modern, chic space that maintained the history and character of the original farm. More importantly, he imagined bringing others’ visions to life with a beautiful and unique setting for weddings and private events.

The Andrew Mellon Auditorium stands, without question, among the very finest classical buildings in America. The gilded auditorium and lobbies are among the nation's most magnificent interiors. With its stunning columns and classic styling, over 10,000 square feet of indoor space, and a gorgeous balcony with impressive views of the city, the Andrew Mellon Auditorium is a premier location for conferences, galas and receptions. The venue fee is $22,275 for under 599 guests, and $22,800 for 600-1000 guests, and that includes the building rental and support costs, as well as off-site scanning of your vendor vehicles, security for your load in/out and one set of front doors for guest entrance. When hosting at the Mellon, you will need to work with one of our approved vendors to supply all of your event needs (catering, rentals, décor, valet, ect.).

Cortland Mansion is a one-stop venue. We provide the tables and chairs for the reception as well as the white resin chairs for the ceremony. We offer on-site catering that includes setting up and cleaning up of the space. We offer linens with the rental and have an array of colors to choose from for weddings. We offer different bar options such as cash bar, tab bar and open bar. We also have a bridal suite that can be utilized for the day. Our rental hours for weddings start at 7:00 a.m. to midnight.
