Belvedere & Co. Events is the full-service planning and catering company at The Belvedere, Baltimore’s preeminent historic venue. The Belvedere may be best known for its timeless grandeur and fancy galas; a majestic venue that played host to famous, fabulous, and influential figures. And we, Belvedere & Co. Events, think our service is worthy of your attention too. We pride ourselves on delivering the same level of service that made The Belvedere, Baltimore’s home for exceptional hospitality for over one hundred years. Each event is tended to by a Belvedere & Co. Events Coordinator to assist in menu planning, timeline creation, vendor recommendations, and event design. There is no other wedding venue that offers so much in one place, at our home… the historic Belvedere.
Positioned at the corner of Charles & Chase Streets, the Charles Room features Ionic pilasters, dramatic windows and coffered ceilings. Couples planning to wed at The Belvedere utilize the Charles Room for both their ceremony and reception.

John Eager Howard Ballroom

Across the marbled lobby, guests enjoy cocktail hour in the John Eager Howard Room. This handsome room features a hand-painted mural from the 1930’s depicting sweeping vistas of turn of the century Baltimore, silk gemstone-colored ceiling drapes, and an original gas-burning fireplace.

Palm Ballroom
Palm Ballroom, an intimate venue
Designed with an eye to Edwardian’s fascination with a return to nature, the Palm Room was named for the leafy green plants that originally filled the space. The Belvedere’s original reading room had doors that opened up to an outside courtyard and Tiffany glass skylights shone daylight into the handsome interior that would rival any hotel in the Mid-Atlantic.

Platinum Ballroom
Platinum Ballroom, a timeless venue
Located on the twelfth floor in the East Wing, the Platinum Ballroom was originally known as the Assembly Room and once held a stage that was located on the North end of the room. Lectures, magic shows, conventions, and plays graced the stage, until 1961, when the stage was removed to make the room more spacious for larger banquets. The arched ceiling features original architectural details and the name reflects the silvery damask paper lining the walls.

The Owl Bar
The Owl Bar, a casual venue
The Owl Bar was built in 1903 as part of the original Belvedere.Lined with spittoons, bookmakers, and rough talk, the bar was hardly a place for ladies and was open only to men. However, in the 1930’s with the institution of Prohibition the bar allowed women, as well as whiskey.The Owl Bar quickly became Baltimore’s most notorious speakeasy and then bar owner, Colonel Consolvo brought in the infamous owl statues. When the Belvedere’s basement was stocked with whiskey, the owl’s eyes would wink.

Amazing Venue!
An amazing venue space to work in for a wedding I was DJing! Staff was great to work with, and the event coordinators were well organized with providing everything needed to make the event a success! @FuturePresentations is looking forward to working again with this venue for any other upcoming events!
No regrets -- a perfect wedding experience
There were several well-reviewed wedding services in Baltimore that my fiancee and I had trouble choosing among. However, we have zero regrets about choosing Belvedere & Co. Events over the competition -- their abundant support made our wedding day FLAWLESS with minimal stress. From our very first interaction, the team was direct, professional and extremely helpful in guiding us through the planning process. The space itself is elegant, charming and classy - exactly the type of atmosphere we were hoping to create for our special day. The team's attention to detail ensured that every aspect of our wedding unfolded flawlessly, and our guests raved about the beautiful decor and delicious cuisine. We could not have asked for a better venue or a more wonderful experience. Highly recommend Belvedere & Co. Events to any couple looking for an unforgettable wedding celebration.

We had a fantastic experience working with Belvedere & Co. Events! We knew as soon as we got engaged that we wanted to get married at the Belvedere, and they helped make our vision a reality. Their team was always extremely responsive and reliable during every step of the process. Everything regarding our wedding was very transparent and they were willing to always make changes so we felt comfortable and stayed within our ideal budget. Their detail-oriented coordinators helped to ensure everything went extremely smoothly on our wedding day and were extremely helpful throughout the wedding process.
Beautiful venue, amazing events team
The Belvedere was an absolutely dream as a venue and I'd highly recommend it to anyone considering a Baltimore wedding. The space is gorgeous and the team is incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. There are many different options to choose from for layouts in the spaces at all price ranges and the team communicates clearly throughout planning. The team was also flexible and willing to work with us when concerns did arise and was very responsive to questions we had. The vendors they recommend are incredibly professional and have a very high level of experience working in the space. Lastly the food was fantastic - all of our guests were highly complementary. The day of the wedding my expectations were absolutely exceeded - we were blown away at how beautiful all of the spaces were. The event team was at the ready throughout the event - bringing drinks to my husband and I our families, collecting gifts and generally being extremely helpful. They are all extremely friendly and seemed to be having fun as well as taking their role very seriously. I highly recommend The Belvedere - building and the events team have a special place in our entire families heart.
