Jim and Christy Hutchison built their barn 20 years ago with the help of family and friends. Initially meant for their kids' 4H animals, the barn hosted their children's weddings in 2013 and 2015. Enjoying the love and gatherings the barn brought, they decided to share it with others, becoming a county-approved venue in 2015. Surrounded by stunning mountain views, tall cedars, weeping willows, and prairie fields, The Mason Jar offers a 3-day relaxed environment for weddings. The Hutchisons provide ample time for decorating, rehearsing, and celebrating without rushing, keeping pricing affordable with available decor to help reduce costs. Family-run and oriented, they believe in community support and annually donate a wedding to a deserving couple, embodying the heart and soul of The Mason Jar.

Built in the 1940’s, this historic New England Style Bank Barn offers a unique and elegant backdrop for your wedding. The spacious 6,000 square foot chandelier-lit interior offers two floors of entertainment area with peek a boo mountain views and deck overlooking the farm. Eagles Nest Reserve is a family-run vineyard and winery focusing on dry farming, no-till, herbicide-free agriculture to produce un-fined and unfiltered, low intervention wine. ENR’s wines are low in sulfites and aim to express the authentic and rustic representation of its unique geology and microclimate. At approximately 600 ft elevation and the eastern-most area of the Tualatin Hills AVA, the vineyard is planted on wind-blown loess over basalt, and is influenced by catabatic winds funneled through the Columbia Gorge. The room is surrounded with white tree lighting, which provides a great ambiance. A bride room is located on the first floor of the Hotel Washington building, and can be added to any rental. The building also features an elevator which provides access to all three levels of the building.

There is a kitchenette with access to counters and sink however, no refrigerator access will be permitted. Elevator access from the street to allow easy loading and unloading.
