About this venue

There's just so much to love about these 28 secluded acres—rustic, welcoming buildings, a peaceful pond, trickling creeks, springs, meadows, and trails, all surrounded by forestland. Exchange vows in the perennial flower garden, then celebrate under the charming peeled log pavilion. Enjoy cocktails at the outdoor bar, or come up with an idea your hosts haven't seen yet. they love it when couples get creative! Enjoy your overnight stay in the cool glamping yurts, platform tents, and honeymoon cabin. Spend the day cycling the Banks-Vernonia State Trail, hiking, or playing lawn games, then gather around the fire pit at night reminiscing over s'mores.

The straw bale day lodge was hand built by the owners. Lower floor of lodge is available for bridal party preparation before the wedding ceremony. Plastered walls in earth tones with rough sawn timbers milled locally. Must see to appreciate.

Vernonia Springs is a beautiful outdoor event venue located directly between Portland and Seaside. It has everything you would want in an outdoor venue -- plenty of parking, a place to get ready onsite, restrooms, and even overnight accommodations. It is perfect for couples wanting a Glamping vibe or for those wanting to be surrounded by nature. As an event planner, I always recommend this venue to couples in search of a true PNW-vibe wedding venue.

Vernonia Springs is THE place! We got married in October 2020 and fortunately had planned on a wedding ceremony with less than 30 people pre-COVID. I had several questions about everything and was constantly emailing Jeff to ask about all the ins and outs. He wrote back quickly, consistently, and professionally. We visited twice beforehand and Jeff was helpful and friendly. He was easy to work with having food trucks come in and pre-approved day before with a couple drop offs. When the big day arrived, the venue was beautiful, had safety protocols in place and we heard several compliments on the atmosphere. The venue is quiet and tucked away with limited cell service, so at the end of the night, when everyone sat around the fire place, it was relaxing and comfortable. My husband and I stayed in one of the yurts and the bed was so comfy! Other guests said they enjoyed their bed and setup as well. Honestly, I have only have great things to say about Vernonia Springs!

Yes! You can setup your own bar. A professional licensed bar service chosen from our bar service list will be provided is required. Any alcohol served at venue must be served by licensed bar tender. Beer, wine, champagne and signature cocktails are allowed (signature cocktails are allowed during cocktail hour).

One hour drive from PDX. Very simple straight shot via freeway.

We have a preferred caterer list. You can use your own caterer, however a nonrefundablee cleaning deposit of $300 would be due in that case. Must use full service caterer if food is served to guests. Food carts are allowed as long as food is served from food cart.

Wedding venue rental package includes 5 glamping platform tents, 5 glamping yurts, and a honeymoon cabin. Maximum 30 overnight guests are allowed..

Yes, all our event facilities are ADA accessible.

All payments made are non-refundable. $2,000 nonrefundable deposit is required to reserve venue. Balance due is due 9-months before event start date.

Yes ... you will need to provide a liability policy for your event (typically $100) and can be secured easily online. There are many providers available such as https://www.wedsafe.com. Event insurance protects the bride and groom as well as the venue. If you own a home, your property insurance normally covers wedding events.

We are closed from October 1st - May 31st.
