Lavender Owl Farm is a private and unique wedding venue that boasts 21 acres of wooded trails, lush greenery, mature trees, and picturesque flower gardens, offering endless wedding photo opportunities. It’s an intimate space ideal for celebrating your big day with your closest friends and family. Canby, located just 45 minutes south of Portland, is known as the ‘Garden Spot’ of Oregon, surrounded by stunning farmland, beautiful parks, and iconic tourist attractions. With our many in-house services and experienced and trusted staff and partners to complete your day of team, we can perfect your day saving you time, money, and stress! And, if you love some DIY, we can help you there too! With our expertise and attention to detail, you can trust that your event will be a success from start to finish.

Our favorite place for ceremonies.
Ceremonies are held in the garden on the lawn surrounded by trees and seasonal flowers, with the wedding gazebo nestled in a grove of Maples.

Adjacent to the Ceremony Garden, the intimate courtyard sits next to the wedding garden and is bordered by flowers, a water garden, trees, and plenty of patio umbrellas. There is room to seat up to 50 guests for dinner with plenty of space for your DJ and dancing with food and beverage service from the Sequoia Bar

The Lazy Dog Saloon is connected to the Barn and spills out to a courtyard for more seating and lawn games. The perfect place for your cocktails, and appetizers. Couches and cozy chairs around coffee tables set a relaxing place to mix and mingle before and after dinner.

A Favorite Venue!
Lavender Owl Farm is one of my favorite wedding venues to work with. The staff are always sweet, attentive, and professional. They are eager to please and are always looking for ways to improve the experience for their couples. The beautiful grounds are huge and feature various trees. It provides rustic yet elegant backdrops, and the different spaces around the property create a great flow for the wedding day events. As a photographer, I love the different textures and colors the variety of trees offers, especially in the fall when the foliage is stunning. I also love the free-roaming chickens and their occasional surprise entrance during the ceremony or reception! The staff is always present and available, ready to assist and ensure everything runs smoothly. They are also well-connected in the industry and have great resources to make the day special.

Lavender Owl Farm is a beautiful location. They are very accommodating to their couples and seek out special touches to make everything a perfect fit. As a caterer, it is one of our very favorite locations to go.
Fantastic Venue, fantastic people
Lavender Owl Farm is an incredible wedding venue with a truly peaceful and serene atmosphere. The owners, Lesley and her team, are incredibly prompt, caring and down-to-earth in their communication style. They have clearly poured their hearts into creating a wonderful, private space for couples to spend their special day. The venue itself is stunning, it is quiet and secluded, providing a wonderful escape. You can tell that Lesley and the Lavender Owl team truly care about every couple that celebrates at their venue and are passionate about making each wedding day wonderful. This venue is run by some of the best folks I have had the pleasure of working with, ten out of ten.
