About this venue

From intimate to elaborate our venue has you covered! Our two world renowned restaurants, Departure and Urban Farmer can host small gatherings of up to 30 attendees, while our larger Ballroom and Cityview Living Room can host up to 500 attendees. Have your wedding ceremony on our rooftop or in our ballroom with a reception following in one of our more casual spaces like the Barrel Room or elegant Nines Ballroom. Our hotel is housed in the Meier & Frank Building, built in 1909 and is rich in Portland history yet has a modern, artistic feel being home to over 2 million dollars worth of art by Pacific Northwest artists. We have 331 guestrooms onsite and offer courtesy room blocks, bridal getting ready rooms and suites. Our hotel is silver LEED certified, has its own herb garden and bee hive on our rooftop contributing to our multiple sustainable practices. We believe love wins and welcome couples of all races, religions, genders, nationalities and backgrounds.

The Nines Ballroom

Styled to The Nines, Elegance with Edge adorned with Hand Blown Italian Glass Chandeliers

This space features over 7000 square feet of event space, towering 15 foot ceilings with large hand blown glass chandeliers. All our lighting can be dimmed separately, making for a truly customized event space. Uplights and draping can be added to create a "club" or lounge experience.

Yes, we charge a corkage fee of $45 per bottle for wine. Liquor cannot be brought in. We do work with multiple liquor vendors and wine/beer vendors therefore we can procure most any type of wine, beer or liquor. We offer cash, host and no-host bars. All wine, beer and liquor must be served by our servers/bartenders per OLCC guidelines.

Yes, valet parking is available at the rate of $52 overnight or $27 for event parking. We do not offer in-and-out privileges or self-parking. There are a number of self park options around the hotel, including covered parking garages.

Yes, all our facilities are wheelchair accessible. We also have hearing-impaired fire alarm lights, accessible guestrooms/suites and trained staff.

Booking fees for our facilities, and all payments made including deposits, are non-refundable. We do work with couples should something unforeseen come up. Depending on event date and time we might be able to shift your event to a later or earlier date.

Our building is located 9 miles away from Portland International Airport (PDX). You can reach our venue by public transportation via the trimet, or by private car, Uber/Lyft or taxi.
