When my husband and I were first assessing photographers for our wedding, Vanessa's work jumped out at us as stunning and unique, but with a classic, timeless look that suited our personalties well. (Also, she's incredibly affordable for the high quality of service you receive.) When we reached out, Vanessa was warm and communicative, and she immediately scheduled a Zoom call for us to go over what was important and unique to our wedding that we wanted to focus on. Vanessa struck the perfect balance between inquisitive, yet never overbearing. She was also incredibly flexible - we were traveling from outside the area and could not do an engagement shoot, so Vanessa offered to photograph our rehearsal dinner instead! It was a great decision that resulted in lovely casual photos with our closest family and friends. On the day of our wedding, Vanessa and her awesome second photographer, Tara, were calm and professional, but quick to put my nervous self at ease. The two of them were incredibly astute, picking up on little details about the day that we might not have thought to focus on. For example, Vanessa gushed about a tree in bloom that was right down the street from our venue, and taking pictures in front of it resulted in some of the best shots from the day. Tara also noted that my husband was playing guitar to calm his nerves before the ceremony, and Vanessa suggested taking some "blue hour" portraits with him serenading me. This was by far one of the high points of the day and I LOVE that they highlighted what was important to us. Vanessa's attention to detail is one of those qualities that sets her apart. Additionally, Vanessa handles situational stress with ease. During posed shots before the ceremony, we had an awkward situation with a guest, and Vanessa saw my scrunched-up face and was instantly at my side offering me multiple options for how she could deal with the situation. She single-handedly took the situation off my plate, and I knew in that moment I was in good hands. When we got our pictures back - WOW. They are truly stunning and exactly what we were looking for in wedding pictures. Vanessa's subtle, warm, yet slightly moody editing made for some amazing shots of our day. Our pictures stand apart from all other wedding shots we've seen, in the best way possible. My only problem now is narrowing down the ones I want to print! We were and continue to be absolutely thrilled with Vanessa's professionalism, expertise, and warmth. Do yourself a favor and hire her for your special event.”

The Manor at Mountain View was the perfect find for the owners. The rustic feel with modern-day conveniences was a must. But, what was also a must was to have a venue that the word beautiful could not even describe it but, yet to keep it affordable so that so many people could come and enjoy this spectacular piece of property. The Tavern (Groom's Tavern) has its original barn beams as this was at one time a bank barn. The rustic charm matches the rod iron chandeliers in the room leading to the tavern. In 2007 the former owners built an addition to the facility that speaks volumes, equipped with windows throughout to show off the amazing view... It really is breathtaking. Today the owners have renovated all the rooms in the building but, kept the rustic charm. It brings the family great joy to see so many people happy when they visit the property and to be able to share so many events with the individuals that rent the property is a joy that is indescribable.

“I couldn't have picked a better place to get married. Everyone told me to expect at least one thing to go wrong on my wedding day. The only bad thing that happened was that it rained! (Obviously uncontrollable) however, the coordinators still made it perfect. The inside was set up perfectly. I only truly wanted our pictures outside. They literally followed me around with umbrellas and followed my bridesmaids around with hair dryers to dry our dresses and keep us looking our best all while they were getting wet! I received SO many compliments on my wedding. Multiple people during the days after said it was one of the best weddings they have ever attended!”

“My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Stephanie and the team at Inn at Leola Village for our wedding and if we had to do it all over again, we would choose them every single time! The venue offers a great deal of variety - it's rustic with industrial charm while offering modern finishes- something totally unique that we loved. While the Inn itself is quaint and has a ton of character throughout making it a very unique experience for guests. When it came down to planning the big day our coordinator, Stephanie, was an absolute joy to work with. Not only was she incredibly informed and on top of the ball she was very patient with me and my (many) question filled emails. We had to postpone our 2020 wedding due to Covid and thank god for her because she remained calm and ensured us that we will get our perfect day no matter what - she was not wrong! On the big day Stephanie had everything under control. I was able to sit back and actually enjoy the day, something I hope every bride/groom gets to experience. One thing I want to make sure I mention is how spectacular the food was. Having been to quite a few weddings myself, I’m not a fan of the food that’s usually offered but this does not apply to the Inn at Leola Village. I have a food allergy and they had no problem working with me so we didn’t have to compromise taste for my comfort. Our guests are still raving about how delicious the food for cocktail hour and dinner was plus the portions were generous! No seriously, my husband is asking if I can try and recreate the Penne with Lavender Honey Sauce because it was that good (I have yet to succeed). PS get the homemade donuts for dessert, you won’t be sorry! Thank you to the incredible staff at Inn at Leola Village for making our dream wedding come true. We will be back for our anniversary next year!”

My husband and I got to know Kayla over the last two years when she captured our first engagement photos back in 2020.
