It sits in a hollow with 30 acres of tall cliffs and old trees to provide privacy, warmth, and natural beauties. There is a pristine creek that meanders through the property. The Fishing Creek supports native trout and other rare small fishes. The waterfall is adjacent to the buildings. There is a hiking trail within the property. There is wetland and much more. Outside the doors of the reception rooms is a large brick patio and pollinator garden, just right for cocktail hour. Local artist/entrepreneur Rachel Stevenson has made wedding and event floral design her life's passion. Mill Creek Falls Retreat LLC began as Camp Donegal. A church camp owned by the Donegal Presbytery. They sold it to Alex and Amy Kauffman who sold it to the Lancaster Conservancy who subdivided it, took the woodland and preserved it for future generations to enjoy and sold off 32 acres and the Campground to Ronnie & Kelly Miller who own it today. Here at Pleasant View Farm we do weddings a bit different than some venues. Here you get a wedding weekend and a B&B experience! After all we are a bed and breakfast inn. The property is yours for 3 days. The day before your wedding to set up and decorate just how you like and then time for your rehearsal. We ask that everything is cleared up and out the day after your wedding by 3PM. This allows you your wedding day to enjoy and get ready and have fun with your family and friends. I followed her with my iPhone as she was blowing dandelions and dancing around, it was a really artistic moment that I was able to capture just by using my phone.
