First and foremost we want to stress how much we enjoyed working with you to plan your wedding. You and Aleck are a lovely couple and we wish you a lifetime full of love! I will be sure to pass your compliments along to the grounds team, chef, and waitstaff. We are taken a bit off guard by a few of the things mentioned in your review and want to provide some clarification to hopefully clear up any confusion or misunderstanding. For instance, it was actually our general manager that escorted your group to the Donegal Room for your private rehearsal dinner. We did have other events going on that day and the lobby was quite busy so it’s possible that some of your guests may not have been with the group that he met. We’re also surprised that you feel that the DOC did the “bare minimum”. She checked in with your group regularly throughout the day, set up a table outside of your bridal suite for food and drinks after an outside vendor moved furniture and took up most of the space inside, and even arranged your centerpieces using loose florals that were dropped off by another vendor; we feel that this, in particular, is actually a wonderful example of her willingness to go the extra mile as it is outside of her outlined responsibilities and something that a DOC would not do at most venues. Finally, it’s very important to us that we clarify that the groom’s suite was NOT moldy. We thoroughly inspect our rooms on a regular basis and would never put guests in a room with mold. That being said, we take all guest feedback very seriously and are taking extra steps to prevent the room from having any sort of musty smell in the future.
