Ben Maughan

Owner & Filmmaker

Based in Lancaster, PA and surrounding regions. I take on a small number of weddings each year to give each couple a great experience and film. I get pretty excited and love making friends with couples being a helpful, friendly presence on the wedding day. I attempt to remain minimalist without tons of gear, partly because I'm running by myself, also because I don't like the clutter. It's not necessary for a great film!

I can get REALLY nerdy about video. I get lost in technical details at times to ensure everything looks and sounds perfect, but I know the heart of video is a telling a good story. That means YOU, and YOUR story :)

    If you want the very best experience and truly the best moments of your big day captured and put together on film, then Ben is your guy! Ben is so creative, lively, personable, and comical! From the very beginning, Ben took the time to listen to our visions and help us plan our big day. He was amazing to work with on our wedding day and we could not be happier with the video he put together for us. It truly captured all of the moments we never want to forget. Ben did such a spectacular job of capturing of wedding day, and we would recommend him to anyone!

    The best decision we made during the wedding planning process was choosing Agape (and Ben!). From the beginning to end, he gave us nothing but perfection. Ben was amazing to work with. He is extremely professional, personable, not to mention he makes everything fun. Our wedding was the most perfect day but Agape gave us an incredible video to treasure for a lifetime. Compared to what other companies promised, the video came quickly! Ben is very thorough in communication and keeping you in the loop. I would also like to say that during the day of the wedding, I found that many of my vendors stressed me out. Ben was easy going, fun, go-with-the-flow, and calming. He was by far our favorite vendor that we hired, just because of how easy he was to be around. It was like having a friend around to take the video. I absolutely cannot recommend him enough! If you are on the fence, just hire him. You will not regret it. We have watched out video more than a dozen times and love it so much! The quality is incredible and the attention to detail is perfect. He captures little moments, and the voice over is everything.
