Seth Umbenhauer Wedding Films
Cinematography has given me the creative outlet to tell stories that I always wanted growing up and my couples have given me amazing stories to tell. My main philosophy when it comes to Wedding Filmmaking is that it is not only about creating a video that tells the story of the wedding day, but it’s also about creating a film that tells the story of the couple. My filming style has been described as documentarian and pleasantly discrete. I may stage a few shots from time to time and I will work with the photographer as they are posing you for specific shots, but my films are defined by the fleeting moments in the midst of a very busy day.
I strive to be a filming ninja on your wedding day, meaning you may even forget that I'm there! I specialize in capturing everything naturally while not interrupting your photographer or the flow of the day. Working with me is guaranteed to be an easy and super smooth process!

Seth was amazing!
Seth Umbenhauer Wedding Films was fantastic to work with for our wedding videography. From our initial inquiry, he were prompt in their communication and very accessible for any questions or requests we had. On the day of the wedding, Seth fit right in with the other vendors and was able to seamlessly capture our most special moments without us even knowing he was there. If you’re even questioning having a videographer at your event, don’t question it and hire Seth! Prior to the wedding, we had a few calls with Seth, met him the day of and forgot all about him (because he was truly a fly on the wall) until we received our videos a few weeks after our wedding…and O.M.G. what a fantastic job Seth did. The moments he captured, the flow of the video, the tears, the laughs, EVERYTHING! The way he spliced the most important words with the most important looks and moments was best in class! We watched all of our videos several times for 3 days straight! We cried, we laughed and we were so thankful for Seth and his incredible artistic abilities. We’d hire Seth again in a heartbeat!
A great experience
We had a great experience with Seth from start to finish! He worked with our photographer flawlessly and delivered a product we were excited to receive. We got a video in addition to the raw footage and edited ceremony. The raw footage included our first dances and footage from getting ready and the reception. We are happy with everything we ordered and would not have done it differently. The only thing we would have considered is potentially getting more time and more footage since it is what we are left with following the wedding and we loved it all!
