    Kayla is a super professional and wonderful artist to work with. She shot my and my husbands engagement pictures and wedding photos. She takes time with her clients (even with her busy schedule) to ensure that their photos are exactly as desired. Kayla is super responsive to both emails and on her professional phone line. Due to some weather issues, we had to reschedule our engagement photos several times, but Kayla was quick to reschedule us and even delivered our gallery at a speed that was miraculous (seriously, I remain speechless at how quickly we got them) without losing the quality of the photos. I have prints of the photos hanging in our home, and she was truly able to capture our love. Despite her having her own wedding this year, she met with me and my now husband two months before our big day to go over photo lists and itinerary for the day. This made our day run super smoothly with the photos, and we were able to have moments to breath and relax. Kayla was an integral vendor on our day, and without her, I do not believe our day would have run so perfectly. I am eagerly awaiting our gallery, as we have received our sneak peaks that are gorgeous and truly capture the love, joy, and energy of our wedding day. Kayla is THE photographer for anyone wanting their story told by a true artist. Thank you to Kayla for a wonderful experience and art that we will look at for decades to come!

    Honestly, it is hard to put into words how much my husband and I cherish Kayla, not only as our photographer but also our friend. My husband and I got to know Kayla over the last two years when she captured our first engagement photos back in 2020. It was from that very first interaction on that we both knew Kayla would be our forever friend and person to capture our love. Her eye for creativity and her passion sparks something in her clients to be completely trusting of her and her vision. Kayla never once made us uncomfortable, in fact; it was quite opposite because when she captured our love it was the most comfortable we have ever been. She knows how to get a genuine laugh out of her clients and loves to make sessions fun! When it came to our wedding it was 100% a no brainer to have her come and be apart of the big day. Kayla was INCREDIBLE when it came to helping me with the wedding! I did everything myself and Kayla full on embraced it and always was there if I needed help! For two years she checked in repeatedly and always made sure that I was doing okay! She let nothing slip between the cracks! Even certain things that were not directly corresponding with photography she was there to be an ear and help if possible! On the day of I was a nervous wreck, but Kayla and her second shooter were AMAZING! They came in and immediately started doing what they do best and I felt at ease! Kayla was so fun and such a bright light to have around on my wedding day! My bridesmaids LOVED her just as much as I do! It was so easy to get photos of all of us because it felt like Kayla was apart of our friend group! Again, she is not only the BEST photographer but she truly becomes your friend, and a really good one! In the craziness of the day I had forgotten half of the things I wanted to capture but not Kayla! She was on it! She would remind me and help keep me and everyone else on time! Some of my favorite moments from the wedding day was when my husband and I were alone shooting photos with Kayla. The peace she gave us from all the craziness was like taking a drink of water on a hot day! I could go on and on about how incredible, kind, fun, adventurous, creative, passionate, and so much more Kayla is, but I will let you all find that our for yourselves! If you are looking for a photographer, but also a genuine friend I 100% recommend Kayla and Kayla Shenk Photography!

    We had heard about Kayla when she photographed my husband's aunt's wedding last May. We had a great experience with her through that and she was one of the first photographers we reached out to do our wedding this April! We were so lucky to reserve her. Very professional throughout the whole process and dedicated plenty of time to meet with us to discuss our wedding vision! The format she used to document and communicate with us was very thorough and easy to use. Quick response time. Very easy going and fun to work with on the wedding day. Had a great second shooter. Most importantly, her pictures are ABSOLUTELY STUNNING. Her editing style is beautiful. She will do exactly what you need for her to capture your entire day. OH, and her turn around time for sneak peeks and entire gallery was incredibly quick! She even ended up including something to my package (that I didn't pay for) that she was newly introducing to her clients! I would recommend her in a heartbeat!
