I’m Edgar, an HTX-raised native with Salvadorian roots. I am the owner, creative director, and lead photographer at Anchor Studios Photography. I'm a wedding and elopement photographer based out of Pittsburgh, PA! However, the stories I capture don't start and end there. I love to travel to capture stories all around the world.

My goal as your photographer is to capture your milestones as candidly as possible. This is why over the years, I've worked really hard to build a unique photography style that can tell your story in the most fun way!

    Edgar did such an incredible job with our engagement photos. He had great ideas and directed us without making it seem stiff and got some wonderful candids. He totally achieved the aesthetic we were going for and I couldn’t be happier. Will be booking for our wedding if he’s not booked already!

    Anchor Studios Photography was an absolute pleasure to work with for our engagement photo session and we can't wait for them to capture our wedding day as well!! From the very first interaction, their communication was effective and easy-going, putting us at ease immediately. The quality of Edgars work is simply beautiful, elegant, and dreamy - he had such fun pose ideas that made for stunning, romantic photos.     Anchor Studios & Edgar were the absolute perfect choice for our wedding. I love the style- more candid, documentary-esque pictures- and the colors and editing were so beautiful. I am truly obsessed with every single picture. Working with Edgar before the wedding was so great- he helped me build the timeline for the entire day and was so kind and knowledgeable through the entire process. On the day of, Edgar was funny, on-schedule, and non-intrusive- which is everything we'd want from a photographer during the wedding day! It was overall a perfect experience and I genuinely can't recommend him enough.
