Separk Mansion is a wedding venue located in Gastonia, North Carolina that is just 20 minutes from Charlotte. ​The barn has been built from the ground up by Craig Carpenter, his brother Timmy Carpenter and other family and friends. Many of the trees use to build the barn were harvested from their property and were prepared at their saw mill on site. The idea for a wedding venue began was a dream of their daughter, now Zimmerwald's Estate manager Katie Carpenter White. What began as a simple dream and a sketch on a piece of notebook paper, has now become a reality. We are extremely excited to be a place where beautiful family memories can be made and couples can begin their happily ever after!

The event space includes a 6,000-square-foot Reception Hall, a 3,000-square-foot Ceremony Space with Grooms Quarters attached, and an 800-square-foot building dedicated as a Bridal Suite. It has two beautifully landscaped garden spaces that can be used for cocktail hour or ceremony spaces. The entire facility has a brick and rod iron privacy fence surrounding the property. The venue includes three historic buildings connected by beautiful cobblestone walkways, lush landscape, landscape lighting as well as cafe lights. The walk from each unique building is just as beautiful as the buildings themselves.

We are a small to medium sized barn venue.
