About this venue

The Court Street Livery is a restored barn in downtown Washington, Georgia. It is perfect for weddings, rehearsal dinners and just about any event you can imagine. The big red barn has great details from the past including a soaring heart pine ceiling, brick walls, awesome lighting, a outdoor patio, and a huge open space with four wooden posts. You’ll have access to the barn for the whole day. You can take your time setting up because we rent the Livery for only one event each weekend and you may come in the day before for decorating and set-up at no extra cost. We're largely a “DIY” facility which can make our venue very budget friendly. You'll provide the ideas, decorations and set-up. The Livery is beautiful even with very few decorations. You will choose your own caterer/planner. The Livery has a full catering kitchen. We have a few tables but you'll need to rent additional equipment (chairs, tableware, sound system, etc.). There is ample free parking.

The Barn

The Court Street Livery is a 2-story red barn with rough-cut board and batten siding, a metal roof, and three large operating garage doors. The interior has great ambiance with heart pine wood, brick walls, great lighting and a finished concrete floor.

- 2700 sq. ft. of open floor space; 3000 sq. ft. total space - Heart pine rafters, posts and beams - 35-foot high vaulted ceiling with exposed beams - Brick walls and old glass windows - Antique lighting and hardware - Catering kitchen (electric stove w/4-burner top and double oven; 4-foot chest cooler; stand-up refrigerator w/freezer; 4-bay - stainless sink; counter space; serving window that opens into the main hall) - Finished concrete floors suitable for dancing - Plaza next door for additional open-air and tented space - Ceiling fans throughout - Movable stage (8’ by 16’) for presentations and performances - Ample free parking - Attractive landscaping - Handicapped accessible rest rooms
