Hidden away in the fields of South Carolina lies The Historic Robertson Homestead. Here you’ll find natural beauty, historic architecture, and the soothing sounds of a babbling stream. At the heart of the homestead, you’ll find a stunning 1820’s manor overlooking Fishing creek. The 100-year-old, 3000 square-foot historic barn is just steps away and surrounded by acres of farmland. Stroll through our gardens and admire the magnolia trees, decades old grape vines and fig trees, and our resident peacock. We invite you to visit and feel yourself transported to an era when time moved a little slower and let the surrounding natural beauty carry you away.

The Historic Robertson Home

Transport yourself back in time.

The Robertson House was originally constructed in 1820 and has been carefully remodeled to preserve its architectural character. The home overlooks Fishing Creek and the sound of the water is the melody of the homestead. The Robertson House can be used for a variety of events including micro-weddings, wedding showers, and engagement parties. On the day of your wedding the house serves as the bridal suite with a separate grooms suite over the former carriage house.

The home includes a full, spacious bridal suite equipped with a luxurious spa bathroom and private balconet overlooking Fishing creek. Also includes a bridemaids’ dressing room, sunroom, gourmet kitchen, large outdoor veranda and our famed boxwood gardens.

The Tipsy Goat Barn

A lifetime of memories, just moments away.

The Tipsy Goat Barn (lovingly coined for the fainting goats that used to call the farm home) was originally built in the early 1900's. This charming reception space can be customized to fit your special day. This 3000 sq ft space comfortably seats up to 150 with a large dance floor area along with plenty of extra space for vendors and decorations. The barn also includes a full outdoor cocktail area equipped with high-top tables and market lighting.
