Founded in 1814, The West Boylston Company was a large textile manufacturer in West Boylston, MA. At the turn of the century the company faced a crisis: the site of their mill would be flooded to form the Wachusett Reservoir. Instead of abandoning the mill, the company dismantled it brick by brick and shipped it to its new home in Easthampton, where it was rebuilt on the banks of the Lower Mill Pond. Now, a century later, The Boylston Rooms retains the integrity of the 1814 original mill in every brick and beam. Our rental includes planners and decor at no added cost. The Boylston Rooms staff are THE people you want in your corner leading up to and on the day of your wedding. They were always accessible to answer questions we had along the wedding planning process and even took on a few DIY projects we threw their way to make sure the day of was picture perfect. We had the pleasure of having Myles and Erin for our big day and it meant a lot to us that they weren't solely focused on the wedding party but also accessible to our guests and added to their experience as well. They we instrumental in helping us prioritize and efficiently allocate our time and resources so that we just had to show up, get married, and party! As far as the venue itself, photos don't do it justice. I loved the history behind the building and having the different spaces made it feel like we didn't have to compromise. We went with minimal decor so that it would highlight the natural beauty of the building since that was one of the reasons we chose this venue. Working with Myer's Catering was also a fantastic experience. They were accommodating to our non-traditional requests, communicative, transparent with pricing, and service went off with out a single hiccup. Oh, and the food was absolutely delicious! We were cost conscious when choosing vendors and in the end we went over budget, but looking back on how perfect our day was, it was all worth every penny. The Boylston Rooms provide a level of service that you simply can't find elsewhere. We are thrilled with the quality of service and the level of expertise at The Riverview. We didn’t have a wedding planner so Kayla (our day of wedding coordinator) seriously went above and beyond to make everything run so smoothly. It’s wonderful that they include a day of coordinator in the package. If something went wrong I had no clue, she handled everything and I was able to have fun. They were also very accommodating to all requests I had for the ceremony, the meal options and cocktail hour. I was so so happy with how everything turned out. Our guests were raving about the food, the ambiance, and the professional waitstaff (and bartenders) all night long! There are a few popular venues to get married in CT but I would urge you to at least take a look at the Riverview, the view sells itself. I also want to shout out their pastry chef because the cake was insane. It was delicious and exactly like the picture I showed Kayla!

The Lake House was phenomenal to work with. Getting married during a pandemic is stressful enough, but Paul and his team really made it as stress free as possible! The facility is lovely; large, classy, clean, and inviting. The staff was also friendly and courteous, and the food was absolutely fantastic! Carole the banquet manager took care of everything the day of my wedding so I did not have to worry about a thing! If I had any questions or a problem, Paul was quick to reply and even called me when necessary to make sure that our wedding went exactly the way we wanted it to. The flexibility of The Lake House was also great, I was able to make day-of decisions regarding an outdoor wedding and placement of decorations. What I also liked is ours was the only wedding that day, so we were able to use the whole facility, and the staff was dedicated to us the entire evening! I would highly recommend this venue to anyone!

My name is Taryn. My wife Brittany & I were married at Swan Lake 9/22/23, & it may have just been the best day of our lives. Now that the wedding brain has subsided (lol) I can finally sit with a clear head, & truly express how thankful Brittany & I are for the amazing & perfect experience we had at Swan Lake. Apologies in advance for the novel, but it’s completely necessary! From moment one, the entire staff at Swan Lake was beyond kind & accommodating. We had our first consult with Sophia, & it took us all of a few days to know Swan Lake was our place. Sophia quickly became my right hand through the entire planning process. Every phone call, email & visit (because there were MANY) was easy AND fun! Every expectation was met, and every question answered promptly. Sophia helped me troubleshoot & sort out so many projects along the way. I don’t think I was a difficult bride, but to say that I was ambitious might be an understatement. When it came to Wedding Day, there was a tremendous amount to accomplish. My decorations were definitely a handful; lighting everywhere, draping cascading from the ceiling, a multitude of different centerpieces, three signature cocktails, multiple favor type items... It took a LOT to put together & to say I was nervous doesn’t come close. Every, Single. Thing— was pulled off BEAUTIFULLY. I was blown away by the amount of creativity, help & support Sophia & the staff brought that day. I am eternally grateful. As the party was set in motion I must have been told 100 times how great the food & drinks were. Charlie crafted the most beautiful endless ‘cocktail hour’ spread, (we did not do a sit down dinner service… best idea EVER) which ultimately just continued and morphed into delicious station after delicious station. We had an epic dessert assortment where everyone found something they loved! Charlie, thank you. Your attention to detail & love of food and feeding people is unmatched! Elena came in for the evening hours to relieve Sophia. Elena was INCREDIBLE. I cannot tell you, this woman is on top of it. She made sure that everything was completely seamless & that I was kept in the loop all night, but also able to enjoy myself. She made sure that the massive breakdown went as smoothly as possible and that our night ended beyond successfully. Elena, you are the BOMB. Last but certainly not least, Mary. Mary, my bridal attendant, was the kindest, sweetest, most attentive & helpful human I may have ever met. This girl must have asked me 100 times if I needed anything. I’m pretty sure she brought me a dozen drinks (as I couldn’t keep track of mine to save the world), she packed up a little bit of all of the food & sent us home with a great morning after smorgasbord! My lipstick & phone was always within reach & my dress was always right where it was supposed to be! Mary– I was thinking about you, so thankful, eating mashed sweet potatoes at 4am hahaha. Thank you forever. Swan Lake & all of your staff– administrators, servers, bartenders, chefs, helping hands & everyone in between… Thank you for making our Wedding Day everything we ever wanted it to be. Thank you for all of the support & all of the compliments because it wouldn’t have been possible without each & every one of you. I said it already, but I will be back! When we entered the room and sat down after our first dance there was a bottle of Dr. Pepper in a champagne bucket. These guys really care about their jobs!!!! When we left our bridal attendant was saying how they just opened up a restaurant in Old Saybrook, and although we only will get married once, we cannot wait to go back for the food!

We had an exceptional experience with The Delany House for our wedding! The Delany House was one of the first choices on our list, however we weren't sure we could make it work after Covid hit, and then we had several other circumstances that took us away from planning for a while. Then in August of 2022, we decided to make an appointment with Nicole at the Delany House because through all of our searching, we kept coming back to this beautiful place as our #1. Nicole was a wonderful coordinator and listened to all of our needs and concerns, as we had a very small amount of people and weren't sure if family would make it from different parts of the country. She was always communicating with us and made sure we had everything we needed to plan our special day, and in a short time frame as well because we married on May 12th 2023, less than a year from when we started planning! Nicole is a rock star! When we finally checked in, and got ready for our rehearsal dinner, we had one last meeting with Nicole and she took care of everything for us. The day of our wedding we had a legit TEAM of people helping us with everything we needed, from timing, to communicating with vendors, to our own waiter for the day bringing us diet cokes while we all got ready and later was right by our side with drinks through the night!- (Thanks Josiah!) The staff made sure we had everyone where they needed to be at the right time, and as the night went on they checked on us and made our guests feel so comfortable. The food was OUT OF THIS WORLD! All of our guests kept raving about how delicious everything was. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to get married and celebrate. We recommend The Delany House to anyone who we know that is getting married and wants a great place at a great price and wonderful staff! We can't wait to celebrate our one year anniversary there and see everyone again!

We had an amazing experience with our wedding at the Essex Club. Jessica was our point person and was very communicative, our Maitre D (Rob) was phenomenal. Bridal assistant was equally as awesome. They accommodated us every step of the way. It rained on our day, and they made our ceremony happen indoors without a hiccup. Of course it's nearly impossible to have a 100% perfect day (obviously, you can't control rain), but we walked away 100% satisfied and would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a professional, elegant, and trustworthy venue. It’s taken almost 2 months to even come up with the appropriate words to show the amount of gratitude we have to the hotel providence. From the moment we met, we knew it was a match. The chemistry was kismet, like where has kate been all my life?!? I hate that i don’t live in providence because I would have EVERY single event there always. We were one of her many COVID couples and literally had our food tasting the week before lockdown in NYC. Her flexibility and understanding of postponements, and keeping us informed on mandates and our options for everything was truly amazing. Now let’s get to the big weekend, from the SECOND we pulled up we were VIP’s all the way. Every member of the staff knew who we were and that it was our wedding weekend and i have never felt more special in my whole life. When i tell you that i didn’t stress out one bit because i just knew “Kate has this, Kate has this” and man she did! Every single detail was perfect. Everything was perfect. Every single person working the wedding was perfect. Food was EXCELLENT, like ten times better than the tasting. The hotel itself is absolutely perfect, the Rodger Williams suite was a great touch, loved being able to check on our dog from the wedding downstairs courtyard. I’ll be forever grateful to every single person that helped make this long loooong journey to the alter possible and for pulling off the greatest party that my friends and family are all still talking about. So if you want to feel like the most important person in the world, book with them.

We were a couple who had to postpone our wedding from 2020 due to covid, and throughout the process Neil did everything he could to help us find a new date, kept us up-to-date on current guidelines, and once we had a new date, guided us through planning the perfect wedding reception. On the day of the event, everything went so perfectly! He and his staff are true professionals who made our wedding day everything we’d hoped for and more! Our guests have raved about the food, the service, and the beautiful space! We cannot recommend The Roosevelt Room at Union Station highly enough.

We got compliments all night (and still to this day) that the drinks were the best our guests had ever had. The cocktails are that of a thoughtful bar program — not just a wedding venue. The same goes for furniture, art, and ambience. If you're looking to avoid the generic wedding venue vibe, look no further. Machines with Magnets is the type of place you want to go grab a drink or hang out for the night — not a large wedding venue created to churn and burn events. We loved that we were able to bring in our own vendors from all over, rather than having to stick to a small list. There's also a beautiful apartment attached to the venue that we chose to add-on, which was a great thing to have to get ready and store our belongings. Would highly recommend using the projector!

It is so beautiful, there is many beautiful spots on the property to choose from to have your wedding ceremony. Sharon and Maria were incredible. We were originally supposed to have our wedding at on a family members property, but they pulled out on us 82 days from the wedding. With a stroke of luck they had our date available. I emailed and called on a Monday morning and Sharon called me on speaker phone while driving her kids to work because she understood my urgency. They got me in for a meeting that very day and we officially booked the venue the next day. Honestly the entire situation was a blessing. They really handle everything for you the day of and the help so much in the planning process when it comes to your decor and schedule planning. They communicated well and promptly. They were there on time and waiting for us at every meeting we had scheduled. They accommodated our schedules. I joked that although I have never taken anxiety meds, I believe that Maria is that in human form. Our wedding came together so beautifully. We were wanting a fun, and relax vibe of a family BBQ and we got exactly that. Having the covered porch was so nice for our guests that would rather conversate and chill, than dance and party. We were able to have an ice cream and pizza truck at the end of the night and they coordinated with them to set up in the right spot. For decor we literally just dropped off our boxes and went over last minute things, and they took it from there. We arrived and it was just how we wanted things and at the end of the night everything was neatly packed in the car to go. Pricing was also insanely good. We looked at many other bring your own vendor venues and non were priced as well as them and also coordinated the day for you. I would highly recommended this venue for your wedding, other large party or even smaller more intimate gatherings.

I honestly could write a novel about our great experience with The Chocksett Inn, and Tianna specifically. From the beginning, Tianna was easy to work with, communicative, and so kind! She walked us through the entire process and was there to answer (and re-answer) all of my questions along the way. Not only does she represent the venue, but also acts as your day-of coordinator. I had asked if I needed to hire someone for this, and she assured me it would be all set. Boy was she right. The day of my wedding didn't go as expected (rain among other things) but she was attentive and ready for any curveballs. You would never have known that an inside ceremony wasn't Plan A. It was a day-of pivot that went seamlessly and beautifully. Tianna is truly so wonderful! In terms of the venue itself, we were so happy with our choice. The Chocksett has a lot of things included in their wedding package, their catering and accommodations are on site, and you can do the rehearsal dinner in the restaurant the night before (which we did!). This made it so much easier to keep everything organized, and our guests enjoyed the ability to stay on-site. If you do get good weather, the courtyard area is so pretty for a ceremony. Another popular place for our guests to take pictures was in front of the champagne wall. Erin, our coordinator, ensured that the event went flawlessly – she was such a pleasure to work with! GrandView staff even packed up our car for us at the end of the night. You will know exactly how much the event will cost you when you sign the contract because the wedding cake, provided by an Italian bakery, and the open bar are included in the price provided. To quote many of our guests, the reception was “phenomenal”.

My husband and I got married at the Northampton Country Club in the fall of 2023. We had 110 people and everyone loved the crisp clean atmosphere of the venue. People had plenty of space to move about and we had a good size dance floor as well! My mother in-law was the one who made the suggestion to get married here as she had attended a wedding the previous year and loved it. We chose to have our ceremony outside on the hill in front of the gazebo and the setting was perfect. The trees had almost fully turned and the backdrop looked amazing in our photos. I loved that I could choose from a list of vendors and not be pressured into a preferred caterer. There was a shuttle from our hotel, which made this location very accessible for out of town guests. I highly recommend this location, you get so much value for what they offer. The bar staff was very accommodating and made the night fun for our guests!

My husband and I had our wedding here in December of 2023. We cannot say enough wonderful things about the Mansion itself as a beautiful venue or the staff who work there as excellent people. We had a smaller group of 60 people and it felt like just the right amount of space in the winter. It seemed like each one of those 60 people came up to us throughout the course of the day and told us they'd never been to a nicer wedding. We worked very closely with Rachel for almost a year on planning the day. She answered every question we had and made sure that we were extremely comfortable throughout the whole planning process. Even though she wasn't able to attend the wedding itself due to medical reasons, she took such perfect notes and made sure everything was ready leading up to it, that another staff member Megan was able to step in and made it feel like she was the one we'd been working with the whole time. They were both so helpful and kind. We couldn't have had the perfect day we did without them. Once we walked into the Mansion the first time, we knew that was the place we had to be married. We will cherish our memories of that day forever and look forward to returning to the Mansion for their public events throughout the year and just simply walking the beautiful grounds and reminiscing.

Not only is the setting gorgeous and can accommodate a large group (We had 180), but the cocktail hour options are phenomenal and the who doesn't love a converted train car into an impeccable Bridal Suite?! All our guests loved being able to see all the trains and then the ride to The Lace Factory for the reception was possibly the highlight for a large majority of our guests! We are train people now!

Anya and Kayleigh supported us beyond perfectly throughout the wedding day and get us where we needed to be without taking away from any of the fun we were having. The food was incredible and everyone made sure my allergies could be accommodated. The ease of having every part of our wedding in one place was exactly what we were looking for. Not to mention it’s just beautiful. Us and our families had the weekend of our lives. The Colonial Hotel is the best place to get married.

The coordinators and bridal concierge team handled everything for us including set up, clean up, running the rehearsal, and making sure everyone was where they were supposed to be throughout the day. It absolutely poured all day, and they made the rain locations feel like the original plan. Caitlin kept me calm when things had to change, and Madison & Lucy made sure I was dry and warm during any down time. They even made sure my husband and I had water while we were taking endless pictures! I can’t say enough about Great River.

Crystal Lake Golf Club is an 18 hole Golf Course built on the shores of Beautiful Crystal Lake in Mapleville, RI. We have a full Club House with Pro Shop, Restaraunt, Function Room, Locker Rooms and Member's Lounge. The 23,000 sq. foot clubhouse opened a year later in May of 2004 consisting of the scenic Waterfront Room with a seating capacity of 225 and Tavern with accommodations of 100 people for lunch and dinner everyday during the golf season.

Our wedding was scheduled for 06/05/20. Unfortunately with the pandemic and state restrictions we were only allowed 15 people. As other couples, we postponed our wedding to 11.22.20 with hopes we could have more guests share our special day. We did end up getting married at crystal lake in June with our closest family and friends and enjoyed dinner on the back patio from the Tavern. Tracy and her staff were so accommodating to this quick and sudden request. We went through with our November wedding with 50 guests. The grounds, staff, and food were nothing short of amazing. Tracy and her team went above and beyond with all the extra precautions and making sure everyone felt comfortable and had what they needed. The waterfront room is absolutely stunning. The food, omg, the food is so delicious. We had the best time and everyone raved about how beautiful and great it was. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone. Whether it be to play a round of golf, eat lunch in the tavern, or host a private event. Tracy and her team is nothing short of amazing and we are so pleased we chose Crystal Lake!

Having my wedding at the Newport Marriott exceeded my expectations from start to finish. Had our wedding on 5/20 and generally everything was good. Everyone raved about the food and how beautiful the venue is. And Shay was amazing. My issues mainly are with Charles, who in my opinion is phony, but maybe it’s just the experience I had? We met with Charles the Thursday before our wedding and went over everything. I left with a great feeling. I thought Charles was pretty animated but he seemed like he knew what he was doing. As part of our drop off - we had brought a memory candle to be used in our ceremony and separate champagne flutes to toast with: Charles said something along the lines of how nice it is to have the candle in the ceremony that normally it’s just on the credenza and asked permission to move the candle to the credenza in the hall after the ceremony, which I was pleased he even mentioned. Charles took the champagne flutes we brought out of the box/wrapping, inspected them, and then rewrapped them up. When walking into the venue for the drop off appointment, we saw a 60inch round in the entryway instead of a 6ft banquet table which I was so excited about because of the table cloth option for it - I asked Charles to switch this for us and he was like no problem consider it done. Fast forward to 5/20 - I am at the Waters Edge and I see the 6ft banquet table going to be put out. I quickly mentioned to Shay that I had requested the 60inch and they fixed, but annoying I had to catch this. Then I am lining up for my ceremony, my now husband already walked down the aisle, and I see the memorial candle - which is literally apart of our ceremony script - on the credenza. I obviously mentioned this and they fixed it but once again, very annoying. My biggest issue is related to our champagne flutes. After our first dance, we sit down at our table and see our champagne flutes aren’t there - I say something to Charles about this and he tells says “champagne flutes are being polished and will be right out”. Some time passed and Charles came by to our table and mentioned again the glasss are being polished and will be right out. Sounds great, until we are through our toasts and don’t have them. I didn’t see Charles anywhere and mentioned something to Shay. Who then comes back with an inventory sheet saying they were never brought. I obviously said that is not true and Charles held them in his hands in the lobby. After much time Shay comes back with the glasses and mentioned something showing she was frustrated with Charles. I’m pretty upset that I was being lied to for over an hour about the glasses. Don’t tell me something is being polished and is all good when something is lost. The worst part to me is that Charles never checked in/never come back to follow up on this and just pretended everything is okay. Charles never apologized or acknowledged this and the next and only other time I remember seeing him was for the cake cutting. A few other thing to note: There was a wedding earlier in the day on my date. And the valet refused to park my step dads car until they cleared this out. It was pouring rain and my step dad needed to come inside for portraits. I think the Waters Edge outsources this but make sure if there is any overlap this is considered in planning or mentioned. Communication with the Water’s Edge was also difficult. They are generally not accommodating so make sure you have anything you want in your contract.

We loved having our wedding at the Ballroom at Providence G! The space was very upscale and elegant. It looked fantastic in photos, and it felt great in person too. We also really enjoyed working with the staff at the venue. We worked hand-in-hand with several different people, and each person was organized, kind, and detail-oriented. And even though we talked with multiple people throughout the planning process, everything was very cohesive and all of our requests were honored (with no exceptions whatsoever). We also enjoyed having our cocktail hour on the Rooftop at the Providence G. The vibes up there were immaculate, and we also loved the appetizers and drinks. Additionally, we received several compliments from our guests on the location. Everyone took advantage of how the venue is in the heart of downtown Providence to spend some time enjoying the city. We loved our wedding here!
