About this venue
The Wadsworth Mansion, a nineteenth-century Beaux Art style mansion, is the quintessential country estate. Graced by expansive lawns and surrounded by 103 acres of wooded parklands the Mansion reflects an era of grandeur and elegance. There are multiple locations for outdoor ceremonies and guests can enjoy cocktails and dance on the terrace under the stars. The Mansion can accommodate two hundred guests for a seated dinner reception and larger numbers for cocktail parties. Only one event is scheduled each day and couples can select from a list of approved caterers to create the wedding of their dreams.

Inside, guests seated under dimly lit chandeliers will feast on a delicious menu created by you and your caterers. The ballrooms are individually decorated and have working fireplaces. Each ballroom boasts an intimacy that will make you and your guests feel at home.
Outdoor Event Space
Quietly grand, our long driveway transports guests to a place that feels far, far away from the tempo of the outside world. As the stately white columns of the mansion come into view through the estate's trees, it is easy to feel peaceful and thrilled all at once. The Italianate facade of the building is a majestic background for ceremonies on our massive back lawn or mingling and merriment on our terrace.

The setting provided the perfect backdrop for both our ceremony and reception, with lush gardens and grand architecture that wowed our guests and made for incredible memories and photographs. The team, led by the lovely and wonderful Jessica, went above and beyond to ensure we were well taken care of every step of the way. From the initial planning stages to the final moments of the big day, we felt entirely supported. Jessica’s warmth, professionalism, and meticulous attention to detail made all the difference. She seamlessly guided us through the rehearsal, expertly timed aspects of the day, and even came to my rescue with eyelash glue when I discovered the one in my emergency kit was missing! Her genuine care made us feel relaxed and valued, ensuring the day unfolded ideally. Another standout feature is that the Wadsworth Mansion is a not-for-profit property, which speaks to the heart and dedication behind the venue. They only take one booking per day, so we had the entire estate to ourselves, giving us the peace of mind that our wedding was their sole focus. This exclusivity allowed for a flawlessly executed day, without the distraction of other events happening on-site. The mansion itself is stunning, combining historic charm with beautifully maintained grounds. The booking came with inclusions, which made the planning process even smoother and lightened the load of coordination required. Our guests are still raving about how beautiful everything was! Fantastic Experience
Working with Rachel was a dream. She was very responsive, curious, kind and helpful throughout the process without ever making us feel overwhelmed. She was great from our first meeting through our wedding day, she easily adapted to our needs and style.
The Case Wedding
Weeks later, we're still absolutely gushing over the Mansion! It was the perfect venue for our wedding. They had it all, from phenomenal staff to luxurious facilities, not to mention the stunning views. We had the pleasure of working with Alexandra(Alex) we could not have asked for a better person! Alex knew all of our family members and bridal party’s names, and was extremely personable. She went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of all night. She brought me a snack before the ceremony and continuously brought me my water all day and night (without me asking)They truly make you feel like a VIP throughout your entire day and their top notch team(along with our caterer David Alan) ensured that everything ran smoothly behind the scenes. In the early stages of planning we worked with Jessica Hess and she is extremely helpful and communicative. The mansion truly felt like home for the day. We hosted our ceremony on the vista , cocktail hour was on the terrace, and we had dinner in the East ballroom. Guests were in awe of the estate (we also lucked out with absolutely perfect weather), and how every detail was perfectly executed. Our special day was truly a dream and felt like it was out of a movie! We could not recommend the Wadsworth Mansion enough, and can't wait to return for future celebrations. It's definitely well-worth the investment and would 10/10 recommend hosting your special day here! Just Magic
My husband and I had our wedding here in December of 2023. We cannot say enough wonderful things about the Mansion itself as a beautiful venue or the staff who work there as excellent people. We had a smaller group of 60 people and it felt like just the right amount of space in the winter. It seemed like each one of those 60 people came up to us throughout the course of the day and told us they'd never been to a nicer wedding. We worked very closely with Rachel for almost a year on planning the day. She answered every question we had and made sure that we were extremely comfortable throughout the whole planning process. Even though she wasn't able to attend the wedding itself due to medical reasons, she took such perfect notes and made sure everything was ready leading up to it, that another staff member Megan was able to step in and made it feel like she was the one we'd been working with the whole time. They were both so helpful and kind. We couldn't have had the perfect day we did without them. Once we walked into the Mansion the first time, we knew that was the place we had to be married. We will cherish our memories of that day forever and look forward to returning to the Mansion for their public events throughout the year and just simply walking the beautiful grounds and reminiscing.
