Our perfect venue
Hotel Providence was exactly what we were looking for in a wedding venue. I loved moving from room to room, having a dance floor away from space for folks to have coffee and dessert, and to be able to walk upstairs at the end of the night. We could not have been more happy. There has been a recent change in events personnel, which led to some miscommunications and a few things not happening as expected. While nothing that altered any piece of our enjoyment, I would recommend couples who are more anxious or type A to hire a day/month of coordinator to ensure everything goes as smoothly as possible. The staff at HP are five-star, and they handled every questions, concern, issue, and guest with grace and professionalism. I thought it was well-priced., and for us, having a venue that "does it all" was super important.
Kate is sent directly from Heaven
It’s taken almost 2 months to even come up with the appropriate words to show the amount of gratitude we have to the hotel providence. From the moment we met, we knew it was a match. The chemistry was kismet, like where has kate been all my life?!? I hate that i don’t live in providence because I would have EVERY single event there always. We were one of her many COVID couples and literally had our food tasting the week before lockdown in NYC. Her flexibility and understanding of postponements, and keeping us informed on mandates and our options for everything was truly amazing. Now let’s get to the big weekend, from the SECOND we pulled up we were VIP’s all the way. Every member of the staff knew who we were and that it was our wedding weekend and i have never felt more special in my whole life. When i tell you that i didn’t stress out one bit because i just knew “Kate has this, Kate has this” and man she did! Every single detail was perfect. Everything was perfect. Every single person working the wedding was perfect. Food was EXCELLENT, like ten times better than the tasting. The hotel itself is absolutely perfect, the Rodger Williams suite was a great touch, loved being able to check on our dog from the wedding downstairs courtyard. I’ll be forever grateful to every single person that helped make this long loooong journey to the alter possible and for pulling off the greatest party that my friends and family are all still talking about. So if you want to feel like the most important person in the world, book with them.

We cannot recommend Hotel Providence enough. Due to the pandemic and issues with our previous venue, we switched to the hotel with only 3 months to plan. Kate and her team went above and beyond for us - from planning to the actual day, they were there every step of the way. They made a very stressful time easy. In addition to this, the venue itself is beautiful and the food was delicious (received many compliments on this). And how easy for our guests to be in and stay in one place?! We already miss this day and the team. If you’re looking for a place - whether for a micro wedding now or sometime in the future, you won’t have regrets choosing Hotel Providence.
Winning in every category
Hotel Providence offers a space perfect for every couple. If you are interested in traditional wedding setting, urban setting, speak easy they have it. They even have a courtyard garden which is so rare in the city. The wedding coordinator and her team make everything so easy! Kate goes above and beyond for all their couples while also working with vendors to make sure the whole day is smooth sailing. The suites for the getting ready are filled with natural light and so much space for the whole bridal party. The food is always delicious and timed perfectly which is so important! I highly recommend Hotel Providence!
