Fully restored to its original 1920's splendor, the historically grand and architecturally breathtaking Palace Theater is one of Connecticut's most striking performance arts venues and distinctive reception facilities. Be the star of your show when renting our three ornate lobby spaces or give your guests the royal treatment with a dramatic wedding and reception on stage. Our venue's marble staircases, velvet curtains, gold leaf ceilings and crystal chandeliers provide the perfect backdrop for capturing your most memorable wedding moments.

Preferred parking is available at the Scovill Street parking garage, located at 33 Scovill Street, Waterbury, CT 06702 The Scovill Street parking garage consists of 853 parking spaces. Access to the Palace’s entrance on East Main Street is marked upon exiting the garage through either the Waterbury Arts Magnet School Courtyard or the Brook Street exit.

Yes, our facility is wheelchair accessible throughout, and there is parking available in a nearby garage located at 33 Scovill Street, Waterbury, CT 06702

Your rental includes nine hours from start to finish, for the time it takes our staff and catering to set up (3 hrs), reception (5 hrs) and (1 hr) clean up. Any additional time for ceremony, cocktail hour, rehearsal call for quotes.

For weddings- End of June, July, August, September Dates (Possibly early October but it's limited to our performance schedule.)

Stunning historical venue, dressing rooms for bridal party, day of event coordinator, red carpet, floor plan set up, cleaning, building manager, security and special events staff for the duration of the event. Yes, a day of insurance certificate is required.

October-Mid June is our prime season for theatrical events, graduations, and other performances which is our primary business. We have extremely limited options during this time. It's not impossible depending on how far in advance you are booking.
