Hi, I’m Isaac. In my world, light is everything. The cool ambient hues at dawn, hinting at what the day may bring. Golden sun rays catching particles through a tree as friends gathers to celebrate. A Cotton candy sunset peppered by patio string-lights as a DJ plays my favorite song. We all have timeless memories logged in our minds. For me, they are based in a language of light. As a wedding photographer, this deep connection to special lighting helps me produce dynamic visual stories of romance, personality and beauty.

We loved Isaac and his wife, Jing, who photographed our wedding earlier this month. Isaac was super calm and collected and on top of everything. His photography style was perfect for us. He already delivered about half of our retouched photos a week after the wedding which was insane and I love every single one. He was flexible with the 5 flower girls we had in and out of pictures and the multiple areas on our venue property. Overall an amazing experience and I recommend his work to anyone and everyone looking. He was very considerate when I first reached out about his work and wanted to use him and was very mindful of his travel fees to fit in our budget.

My style is rooted in a editorial and documentary approach, allowing me to narrate your unique love story through timeless images that capture genuine emotions. I prioritize unscripted moments, such as the reaction of your spouse as you walk up the aisle, the inside joke that makes you break out in laughter or the tears as your loved ones share thoughtful memories during toasts. These intimate details hold immense significance to me. As your photographer, I bring a heartfelt and genuine perspective, ensuring that your wedding day is portrayed in a way that truly reflects you and preserves the memories you'll cherish forever.

My fiancé and I loved working with Lucia! She did an engagement photo session with us, and the whole experience was fantastic from beginning to end. She set up a video call to get to know us, get a sense for who we were and what we were looking for, and then was super helpful and communicative when picking a location for the shoot. She was able to share sites she had used before with photos from those locations, and she shared input from other photographers on locations we thought of that she hadn't used before. When we started looking for a photographer we were apprehensive about the whole thing because we're both by nature pretty awkward in front of a camera, but she made us super comfortable and you can tell how relaxed we were when looking at the photos. We genuinely had family members say "now that's what I think of when I picture you two" when they saw our photos. She even asked for some of our favorite music and had it playing when we started, which was super thoughtful! For the shoot itself, she gave us plenty of direction but was also really collaborative and open to any of our ideas for poses or shots or areas of the location to use. We were worried on the way to the shoot because it was rainy when we first showed up at the park, but right away she had ideas for how to still find usable areas and took some great shots, and even had some clear umbrellas that made for a cute look. When the rain let up, we were able to get some wide shots that really took advantage of the location and she did a fantastic job of editing out the groups of oblivious sightseers that walked into frame. The photos definitely capture us as a couple and showcased the location we chose. After the session we got our preview gallery back in record time. She told us she was going out of town on a family trip a few days after our shoot but she'd get our preview turned around before she left so that we didn't have to wait, and she totally delivered (and probably 3x the amount she promised, so she even overdelivered). We got the full gallery back exactly when she said, and they all look amazing; we loved the experience and the photos we get to share with family and friends.

We gotta give a huge shoutout to Daria for being the coolest wedding photographer ever! Our Brooklyn bash was all modern and sleek, and she totally got what we wanted. From day one, she vibed with us and on the big day, it was like she was part of the crew. Daria's got this ninja-like skill of snapping the best shots without us even noticing. Seriously, she's got an eye for catching those real feels and little deets that made our day pop. The pics? OMG, they're not just photos, they're like time machines. A wedding and engagement photographer but so much more than just that. I’m a friend, daughter, sister, momma to my beautiful baby girl Scarlette Rose, wife to one incredible hunk of a man, fur mom to one ADORABLE little Chihuahua, Pug, Great Pyrenees, and two ducks named Harold and Mushu (I WOULD DIE FOR THEM). I’m a hiker, lover of giddy laughs because your body can’t contain all the joy you’re experiencing, lover of love, meditation lover, crystal lover, people lover, tattoo lover, and most importantly…lover of personal growth and learning from this big classroom we call life! Without all these labels?

If you're wondering if you should hire Ally as your wedding photographer the answer is yes, a hundred times yes! We cannot compliment her, or the pictures she takes and edits, enough. She worked with us to re-plan our entire wedding when COVID hit. We changed the number of people from 150 to 10. We changed locations...multiple times! Ally was supportive the entire time. On the day of our wedding, there were multiple road closures and I called her saying I understood if she couldn't make it, but she assured me she would be there. She's the best friend and photographer you never knew you needed. Ally literally drove down a sketchy dirt road, adding drive time and nuisance to her trip, just to get to us to shoot our special day. When I say we cannot compliment her enough, I mean it. She made our dreams come true, and she made posing for pictures the most comfortable thing in the world. She's easy-going, kind, communicative, funny, and makes you feel so beautiful and natural in front of the camera. She really is the full package. I cannot wait to get her pictures printed to hang in our home forever!

Hey all you cute love birds!!! I am a Boise area photographer, BUT I LOVE to travel and would absolutely kill to travel for you! Okay, not literally kill but ya know. I would love love to travel for you! I am a wedding photographer, who specializes in elopements and intimate weddings! Do I still offer more traditional big weddings? HELL YES. My business is all about creating exceptional experiences! I want to make sure your day is so special, and that you get the images of your dreams! I try to stray from the traditional, and go for more fun, unique experiences! If you're looking for that, let's get this party started!!

I had seen Jordan's photos on instagram and fallen in love with their aesthetic. I've been in traditional posed wedding photos as part of the wedding party and family in the past and I just never look like myself in them. I cannot pose and get very self-conscious if I know my picture is being taken. But having candid moments from the day really meant the world to me and that is what really resonated with me in Jordan's style; the documentary feel. Beyond this, there is this incredible eye for lighting and angle and capturing just the right moment that this duo (because it is Jordan and her husband, Trent) brings that I didn't find in any other portfolio I went through when looking for a photographer. She was super patient and understanding when walking me through the process on our introduction and every other subsequent call leading up to the day. We weren't going to be using engagement photos for the traditional announcements, but I had this idea of a wonderful series of photos at this location on the island where we were having the wedding that we could have as kind of our own celebration of our engagement and they were instantly on board and agreed to come out the day before to do those photos at that time. It ended up being a really lovely time for us 4 to bond and get used to each other so I highly recommend doing some kind of engagement photo session even if you're a photo-averse person like myself and the thought of doing more photos seems like the last thing you want to do. Jordan and Trent are so calm and relaxed that it made it really easy to be natural around them. And then on the day they were absolute rockstars. We were, as is surprising to maybe no one but us, running super late and they very gracefully helped manage our extended families and the venue to keep the pressure off us while still getting everything done they could. We showed up to the venue with 20 minutes to the ceremony and we somehow managed to get all our family photos (with toddlers and blended modern family combinations in the mix) and still be only 5 minutes late on the ceremony start. Then we snuck away for sunset photos and that ended up being this absolutely beautiful time we got to spend together during the reception, not awkward at all. And I truly think that's because of how natural and talented this duo are at their jobs. They were like the most lovely and helpful guests at the wedding, truly like having friends who are photographing the day for you. They made the day exactly what I hoped for, this beautiful, cherished time spent with family and friends in a magical place celebrating being all together and I cannot imagine my wedding without them there. I don't have the full album yet, but I do have the engagement photos and an absolutely breathtaking sneak peek of the day and they are so beautiful I almost don't believe it. Hopefully I won't need another wedding photographer (hahahaha) but if I do need family photos for the future they will be my first call.

I've been photographing professionally since 2004 and while it's always so awkward to write about yourself, here goes: In that time, I've been honored in my field as Seattle Bride Magazine's Best Photographer multiple years and invited to the exclusive list of WBWP as one of the World's Best Wedding Photographers, planners and clients tell me I'm known for flattering posing, natural results, indoor lighting in tricky situations, and a light touch that allows beautiful moments to flourish ♥︎

Awarded Best of Zola
Hiring Kim (specifically Kimberly Person, regardless of company name) was the best decision I made for my wedding. The short version: + Photography: gorgeous photos in both indoor and outdoor settings, in tricky lighting, for groups of people with widely varying complexions and dress colors, staging props, and including pets without unnatural filters/corrections + Planning: Years of experience lending to a helpful planning checklist, network of talented wedding vendors, willingness to jump in where needed to ensure wedding planning and wedding itself go well + Extras: Prioritizes bride/groom’s comfort and experience over everything else, makes taking pictures feel fun, gets where she needs to be for every photo opportunity The longer version is that I can’t imagine having had my wedding without Kim. I delayed my wedding a year because of Covid, and Kim was only supportive throughout. She remained flexible with date changes, and always seemed to care more about how I was feeling than how changes to my plans were changing her plans as well. My wedding was at the Asian Art Museum in Seattle in October. I got ready at my house with my bridesmaids in the morning, did my first look outside my house (the dog got to join in too!) in the early afternoon, took photos with my husband and our bridal party in Volunteer Park on a luckily clear afternoon, took photos with our families in a room with floor to ceiling windows inside the Asian Art Museum a little before sunset, followed by the ceremony in the same glass-walled room after sunset, and danced the night away in the brightly-lit main hall. The photos Kim took in all those different environments are equally stunning, showcasing a very wide range of skin colors, varied shades of blue and green jewel tones in dresses, and either the soft white of the museum or the bright greens, reds, and yellows of the park in fall for the background. Despite the changing light between our family photos and ceremony in a glass-walled room, Kim made us look and feel. Kim’s cues were easy to lean in to and my wedding photos look and feel natural. Kim was also my unofficial wedding planner. Whenever I asked her for a recommendation, she first checked to see if the people she was recommending were available on my wedding day. Kim built in all the right buffers in our schedule for the day and walked the officiant through how to correctly fill out and sign the paperwork after the ceremony. She expertly navigated family drama and possible conflict by asking us about it weeks before the wedding. She made sure she had everyone’s preferred names and pronouns, and coordinated with all our other vendors to ensure everything was staged and photo ready on time. What I will never forget and will forever be thankful for is how Kim prioritized my comfort over two years of wedding planning and the million moments of my wedding day. She shut down strangers in the park who were taking photos of me and making me uncomfortable, reminded me to point my toes before the first dance, and drove my husband and me to the wedding so we weren’t dependent on anyone else’s schedule. Kim is the reason why I can look back on the beautiful memories of my wedding day, and all the moments my guests enjoyed that I wasn’t present for. I suspect she knew my husband and I would be pulled in many directions that day, but she caught every moment we were on our own and every moment we weren’t present for, taking in everything and everyone around us.

I'm Val - I value authenticity, connection, and love. I feel so lucky to spend my days photographing weddings, traveling to new places, and witnessing couples sharing their heart. I can’t think of a better way to spend my days. As someone who is married, I deeply understand how significant and special a wedding day truly is. It’s about the love, the people, and all the emotions felt—the moments you’ll cherish and reminisce for decades to come.

Valerie is absolutely amazing. Obviously her work is so good, but she made the experience so much more! She was so incredibly easy to work with, so timely, couldn’t have been nicer, and overall an amazing photographer. I would choose her a million times over! My dad actually thought she was one of my friends from high school or college, because of how personable she was to all of our friends and family. She listened to everything we wanted and definitely delivered. We had a call a few weeks ago to discuss our timeline and she was so patient and helped us understand how the day would go / what we actually wanted. There were times when I was stressed and I can’t even tell you how calm she was and made us feel. My husband hates having his picture taking and didn’t expect to like the experience very much. He could not stop talking about how comfortable Valerie and her second shooter made him feel. We chose to do super 8 as well and I am so glad we did. I love that she has film option ad ons, as it definitely fit the vibe we were going for. Overall- Valerie is SO great to work with. She is so talented. I would absolutely recommend her- you won’t regret it!!!

Captured Couture, LLC

5.0

Chicago, IL
  • Editorial style
  • Starts at $4,195
  • Serves Harrah, WA for additional fees

So there’s no “I” in team right?! While Captured Couture is the product of years of hard work that I built from the ground up. I have an amazing team because sometimes takes more than just me. For larger events or on occasions when I am already booked one of my team members will gladly assist with your event. We’ve covered hundreds of weddings together, and have refined our editing style and way of shooting to be completely consistent. You won’t be able to tell the difference. Pinky promise! No matter where you’re planning from when it clicks, it clicks.

My (now) husband and I chose to hire Jennifer from Captured Couture as our photographer for our wedding. We were both blown away by her images posted on her website and Instagram page and after having a phone interview we were convinced she was the one for us. Jennifer was communicative and so easy to work with. We were able to get a free engagement session with the purchase of our package which was awesome because we were able to meet her in person before our actual wedding. The day of the wedding there were a few minor hiccups as our wedding was the same day as the Detroit Pride fest, and we weren’t sure some of our desired locations would be accessible. Without a moment of hesitation Jennifer, who knows the city of Detroit incredibly well, was able to secure a location for our first look and our wedding party photos which turned out to be perfect. Jennifer and her assistant LeAnn captured every part of our wedding with some much care and attention to detail. Our photos are spectacular and we are so thankful for our photography team. Both my husband and I would definitely recommend Captured Couture to anyone looking for wedding photography.

Heather has been shooting weddings for the past decade and is an award-winning photographer. Her work has been published in fashion-forward magazines and exhibited at Scope, Miami, FL, Woman Made Gallery, Chicago, IL, New Apostle Gallery, New York, NY, and other galleries. Olker Wedding Photo was featured on Zola as a preferred vendor and the business has earned “The Best of Weddings” award and the “Couple’s Choice” award. She is an expert in her field and holds a Master of Fine Art in Photography from the School of Visual Arts.

Awarded Best of Zola
Where do I begin, Heather is an incredible talented photographer to work with! Goes above and beyond to do a great job! Through a recommendation of a professional wedding hair stylist, we were introduced to "Heather Olker Photography". From the start, Heather's approach and her overall personality was one that aligned completely with us. You will come across several vendors during the wedding planning process that have overpowering personalities.. Heather and her team are very well organized, responsive, sweet, helpful and communicated very well with us and with our coordinator at the venue. She helped us in creating the perfect timeline for our wedding day, made us feel completely comfortable through the process. Responded promptly to all our questions and concerns. She traveled from NY to Boston to photograph our engagement photo session, and wedding photos. Which we absolutely love!!! All things being equal, my husband and I are not the most photogenic people ;) The engagement photo session (which I encourage everyone to get one, if only as an opportunity to get to know your photographer before the big day) it allowed us an opportunity to see Heather as someone who completely goes with the flow with our collective vision. There is so much attention to detail you put into your wedding day and those memories are all now fleeting. But investing in someone like Heather and her professional team for your wedding day, capturing the pictures of not just you, but more importantly to us - our family and close friends - was the wisest investment that we could have made last summer. If you're wondering whether or not to book her as your photographer for your special day, don't hesitate. There is no one better! We Highly recommend her. Thank you once again Heather "Heather Olker Photography". Much appreciated, Claudia & Greg

Tara Beth Photography

Philadelphia, PA

  • Starts at $6,000
  • Serves Harrah, WA for additional fees

Tara Beth Photography is a place of inclusion, empathy, intimacy, and care. From the first email, I take care with my clients. Considering them all unique, and with that, their stories being unique. We talk about how you want to be captured, how your love should be captured. We go over insecurities, love stories, and anything else that may come up during our Zoom calls. I don't want to be just someone you hire. I want to be considered someone you trust, and enjoy to have around!

My wife and I had the pleasure of working with Tara Beth for our wedding in December 2022. We started following her instagram years prior and fell in love with how she captured every moment, from the guests to the couple. Not only were her photos amazing, but being a part of the LGBTQ community can feel daunting at times when reaching out to vendors, specifically for same-sex weddings. We had a few tough experiences with other vendors in regards to being a same-sex couple, but Tara Beth, as she is a part of the community, made it easy to feel comfortable and accepting. We contacted her and were met with a quick response. From the start, we knew she was the one. Her vibe and passion for love sold us! My wife and I were very nervous to take photos, but Tara Beth reassured us that she would walk us through everything - and she did just that. She talked us through our first look and it was an amazing experience. She also guided our party and family photos, which was super helpful as we were able to get our photos done ahead of schedule! We appreciate everything Tara Beth did for our special day and would recommend her 100 times over!

31 year old dog loving, anime watching, fun loving photographer here. Everyone is welcome with me. Sexual preference/orientation, race, religion... I am here for whoever needs me. I want all of my couples to feel safe and respected, to know that they can fully be themselves with nothing but love and acceptance on my end. Bring me all of the tattooed brides in black dresses, the whimsical fairy dress elopements, the dog people who have their babies sign their license, and people who want to *ehem* partake in the local CO offerings. Whatever brings you joy, I want to bring it to life in my photos.

Awarded Best of Zola
I’ve gotten the pleasure of working with Makenzie on a couple occasions, the first being my apocalypse wedding. In March 2020, before regulations were implemented but right when pandemic fears were taking hold of the country, my wedding was canceled by my venue 48 hours ahead of time due to vendor issues. Makenzie drove an hour through a blizzard to be there and capture my tiny wedding anyway while keeping safe distance. The photos from that day are going to be cherished by my family forever. She helped us feel safe and comfortable and maintained the utmost professionalism while enduring a completely terrifying and unprecedented situation. Then, at my rescheduled wedding, she came through again, masked up and ready for round 2 a few months later. I would recommend her to anyone looking for photography services for any event, especially weddings. She captured moments I never thought could be immortalized.

Nick Cruz Photography, LLC

5.0

Costa Mesa, CA
  • Editorial style
  • Starts at $4,500
  • Serves Harrah, WA for additional fees

My parents don’t have professional photos of their wedding. It’s ironic being that I photograph weddings for a living. Long story short, my Grandfather hired a distant cousin as their wedding photographer, his customer service was beyond subpar and pricing was vague. He eventually went out of business and apparently took the photos down with him. It’s a sad story but it is something that fuels my mission as a wedding photographer. To give my clients a memorable experience from the first Zoom meeting to the delivery of their gallery and beyond.

We had the best experience working with Nick (and Mackenzie) on our big day. I cannot recommend Nick Cruz Photography enough! All of our photos are so beautiful and exceeded our (high) expectations. We could not have asked for better photos or a better photographer. Getting married during COVID meant a lot of last-minute changes in plans and Nick was so supportive and willing to work with us to make sure we captured all aspects of the day safely. And he is so personable - we had a total of 13 people at our wedding, so it was a very small group, all immediate family, but he fit right in! He was super organized and had a shot list to make sure we didn't miss any typical wedding photos. His website for photo delivery makes it so easy to view/download photos and he got us some sneak peaks super fast. Overall, we had such a great experience with Nick and plan to use him for all other big life events that require photography! (He also did our engagement - those photos were amazing too! He worked with my husband to pop out of the trees and capture the actual proposal.)
